This looks really great, but I have a D-800... Hopefully we see another release!

This looks pretty awesome. I wish it was on the D800 also since that is what I have. Maybe someday soon. Either way, this looks like a very nice ROM. Good job $droyd$

Nice choice on the slim base. Glad to see more development.

This was just a test build produced to test the g2 waters I develop for lots of devices check my history.. I already stated if things went well I would build for all but not in a corner cutting junk way of patches.. You will never seen me producing any flash this download that stand on your head rub your belly stuff.. This doesn't count as going well though.. I guess it'll be a g3 ROM..

Gimme a min to test. I've seen your work. I'm coming from mahdi and I'm actually in the middle of pressing biz. Always looking for something new

Yea i can see man anyways thanx for this ... You should check out the lgg2 original android development thread itl likely be mote popular there thats where all aosp roms are at.. This is mostly stocl roms

Waiting update for all...
My phone F320S

Rom is legit. Never used a rom Smooth. One random reboot. My only beef is lack of theme engine.

It looks promising. I want to try it on my D802.

Rom is great but we have in Europe D802 version
For D802 ?

+1 for Popularity
for D802, bring it out

I dont have an 802 so who will test it when its built..

I'd gladly test it. Only missing Theme Engine and thats what i can't do without.

I removed theme engine.. It was all there actually for about 2 months but just a pain in the arse as it requires too much attention.. When i had it it was like i couldnt do anything but commit for it and its somewhat weird... You probably notice any rom other than cm gets that stupid fc on boot for example. I cant stand things like that..
Anyway the 802 is building now itll be done in prolly an hour but as i work 3rd shift ill most likley be asleep when it finishes provided theres no errors lol... Maybe this afternoon ill get it to you.. When its released ill update the header and itll be here in this thread..

802 is built who can test now..?

Ubuntu Touch Port

Hello everyone, I thought we could start some Ubuntu Touch porting so wanted to share thoughts, ideas, development and maybe do this as a community work. I'm currently preparing everything (slow adsl) and trying to figure out which are the steps to be followed
It's not very difficult according to: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Porting
But we've a first problem, the porting requires the use of CM10.1 repos and cm10.1 for our device is a bit of a dream atm, better, there's the repo but no nightly at all. Would we be able or would it be worth to try to use one of the cm10.1 porting available for the hox or we must wait for an official nightly?
I think I should give a try, but I don't really want to waste my time so I may be missing something important which absolutely requires the official repos.
Ideas?
P.s sorry if this isn't the most appropriate section, tell me and even move the thread if necessary, but I'd prefer to stay away from "nice thanks", "fantastic" and so posts, they make no sense now since it's too soon and just distract.
Can't we use tbalden's kernel and device trees? It's as official as it gets.

You mean this https://github.com/cyanogenmod/android_device_htc_endeavoru? I haven't followed cm10.1 porting and development very much so it's pretty much what I was asking, when compiling a rom starting from this repo, will it work?

The builds from that repo have all been really solid. I guess it'll serve as a base.
Thanks, will start from it tomorrow, it's midnight here and still waiting for the download to finish...
Moved to Q&A
Nevermind this post.
I'm trying to port it too but download is really slow. We have CM10.1 for our device. but i think it's juste usefull to boot.
Keep following your work too.
I've synced 3 hrs now and only have fetched 2Gb. They should probably invest in some servers.
lol... my download crashed during the night... now i'm at 88% for phablet.. and waiting also for CM10.1...
Edit: My download crashed again at 15.45 pm...... i'll become crazy...
Call to all:
I've finished the actual porting process. Now I have to iron out compiling errors. Hopefully I'll be able to boot soon!

yes but ATM it's impossible to have the complete repo...
tell you the WIP as soon it's possible....
Built 2nd and 3rd time, not booting.
Debugging is extremely difficult because logcat seems to be broken.

info
all credit goes to @tdm for bringing our device official. i started building this for myself and reached out to the AOKP team to see what it would take to bring us official...and to my surprise @tdm said he was already working on it...which is good because he is a real dev!
i offered to maintain the thread and be the point person here. which is good, because i'm here all the time anyway
as far as GAPPS, i always use BANKS' minimal, found here. note that with AOKP, you need to flash GAPPS when you update nightlies. you can still dirty flash, just flash GAPPS right after ROM. otherwise your google account won't be there.
right now, it looks like "nightlies" are every couple weeks. enjoy!

Yes I've been maintaining this for a few weeks. I'm just not really into forum threads anymore (too many forums and too many devices). Unfortunately I forgot to get it added to the devices page...

[ROM][5.1.1][CM12.1] Hyperdrive-OS [2015-05-01] ***UPDATED***

Introduction
Hello ALL! So here I am again with a new ROM. This time I present Hyperdrive-OS. This ROM is basically a CM based ROM with only a few added features and a ton of Optimizations. Overall, this is CM the way I think it should be. Also, this is based on Android 5.1 so anyone who wanted to get their hands on the latest version of android, WELL HERE'S YOUR CHANCE! And finally I would like to take this time to give an ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF THANKS AND CREDIT TO @luca020400 and @LuK1337 (It's simple, without them this ROM wouldn't exist!)

Performance was better than stock or cm12
but battery life worse need more tests

Update
Im using version from 2015-04-05 no errors everything is fine and working perfomance good but battery life still needs an upgrade
Just tried out Hyperdrive compiled on my own computer from a few days ago, and @Shawn5162 I gotta say, two thumbs up!!
Now if only we could have this speed and multi-tasking on Quantum...
Just a quick note, the build bash script for linux is all wonky... rewriting it is not such an issue becuase its like, 5 lines, but the /tools/build_linux is longer and there are also some wierd lines there that return errors, although it does build, so yah. If OP has a second to look at these and fix em up for other linux users it would be great
Guys We all know what an amazing job @Shawn5162, @LuK1337 and @luca020400 @Pizza_Dox and all our Fellow Developer's are doing and have already done.
But please, let's just keep this thread clean. Posts like Thank You, Will Test now, Downloading now etc etc, are Useless. If you appreciate something, just hit Thanks.
This really makes a huge difference in the number of Posts which are of no use.
Please, just click thanks.
Downloading Definitely gonna report back. Currently con pure cm 12.1 but I miss the customizations. Nice work Shawn. I hope the thread stays clean this time. Keep it up!

thx for you hard job .then i wil try it
I tried it, but ran into some problems...
At first I flashed xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix2_V10.4.2.0.PDECNXM_v10-9.zip and then M.A.R.S.XUAV.19.08.28
Everything looked good, no errors. Then reboot. I can enter SIM PIN but after that, Screen goes on and off. Android Setups pop´s up, 1 step forward and 1 back (and I'm still doing nothing), Screen goes on and off and so on....
ps.: tried it with and without SIM Card... Same behavior.

So i have updated the ReadME and Infos about that. MIUI is a really strange Android Fork and i haven't had the Features working that i think are essential for Me and the Project. That's why i drifted the foucs back to AOSP for now again. I wish i had a Teammate who would make a MIUI Version that lacks of the XUA (Xiaomi Universal AOSP) full feature set, that would mean just to much work for Me right now since i'm already working up to 8Hrs per day on the main Patch... So You flashed XUA which is meant for AOSP. I would recommend You to try Lineage OS or Havoc Official. They run both with the full feature set and without bigger Problems right now (Check GitHub Issues for Bugs).
Hope You will enjoy the expierence! More Updates are coming! BR
Sry, my mistake. Didn't read that ^^
I stay with MIUI because I really like it more than these AOSP Roms.
But I wish you success with this Project. Looks really good.
Greetings from Leipzig
First Users on Discord reported it works on Mi 9 and Mix 2 (Various ROMs). We just had a issue with CPU Loads which will be fixed in V.19.08.29. Everything is super fluid and performing well. Audio is awesome compared to stock or normal AOSP... Really proud of it right now.
I will also move from GitHub to Google Drive and My Homepage since GitHub is problematic in many Views. More Threads for other Devices are coming and i hope the Community will grow fast.
@gitsbash No Problem! You're welcome to give it a try at any time!

Yeah right. That's the easiest thing to do because you can't explain how MARS really helps. You throw around too much jargon on what you have done and how it'ssupposed to work. But you have a hard time explaining why we need a software that takes more memory than our ROM to make it fast. Counter-intuitive. What does it actually do?
