thanks to @K.khiladi

This error is because original 4.2.2 has been changed. Following are causes and solution.
1. Custom Recovery installed. - Install stock recovery through SP Tool.
2. Exposed framework installed. - Uninstall exposed installer and framework also.
Also see any other major change you have changed.
Reply if have any query.

I encountered this error. Before installing the 4.4.2 kitkat update, you need to install the 4 mb update that was for fixing the proximity and sound issues...

Hi Khiladi... i got notification about the update, i have downloaded 4.71Mb update.zip in my phone memory. I go to xolo care, check for updates, select the update.zip and hit continue. But nothing happens. I am not able to install that update. Can you help me. Pl mention the steps in simple words as I am a not a developer.
Just for your information, I had tried installing the Kitkat update. It had worked for me but I too had faced battery issues. Hence the service station guy had again reset my phone to 4.2.2. On seeing this post, i am hopeful that if i 1st install the 4.71Mb update and then install the Kitkat update it might work fine.
Hence do guide me on how to install the 4.71Mb update.
Thanks

OK I am now able to boot in bootloader after much testing I will try it.
I also had the vetlist problem downgrading from b014 to b125. But bootloader still worked. The only thing that worked for me was installing stock recovery jb via bootloader, afterwards a clean install of b014 again via stock recovery. And than I could install b125, also via stock recovery.
In short words:
1. Install stock recovery jb
2. Put (in your case) b506 to sdcard/dload folder
3. Reboot to stock recovery with automatic new installation of b506
4. Put b125 to sdcard/dload
5. Reboot to stock recovery with automatic installation of b125 withoutthe verlist fail.
This is the only way that worked for me from b014 to b125.

Install this Original_Recovery
You have to go back to stock recovery mode, do this using adb.
Then install KK Beta and then B125

Downgrade B506
Hello,
very you please advice!
I downloaded and installed onto your phone p6-U06 Huawei B506-firmware. It works without a problem, I would like to go back to 4.2 but unfortunately downgrade from 4.4 to 4.2 does not work. Shows me that says "huawei sd card update fail".
Can you please advise what should I do with this?
Thanks

Look.
1-Firstly With the phone download this:
http://dl.vmall.com/c01l4l4a2y# when you are here press the blue booton and the download are in coursing.
2-then, when the download is finished, you go to download folder and extract the .zip archive, and then put the dload o your external sd!
3-after that, you have to turn off the mobile. and the method of the 3 buttons (vol - and vol + power) the recovery will be updated!
4 - after the end of the flashing restarted again, with that before we get We traveled for updated repair fail.
5-'ll be back on the B506, now just stick a stock with dload on the external card and the 3 buttons you flash the stock rom that you have chosen with JB! regards :good:
Thanks ,,,,, it works :good:

I was testing the ART mode on the P6. I replaced the two system files. After some misbehavior of the ROM I wanted to go back to the B125. When doing a factory reset I am stuck on the Startup-Agent when choosing the WLAN(It stops and reverts to Language select -> so loop)
Can I flash this just with TRWP from dload folder on my SD-Card?

Before downgrading from KK to JB you have to install this:
http://dl.vmall.com/c01l4l4a2y#
Copy to external sd card to dload folder and use 3 button method to flash. After that you can try JB rom downgrade.

Remove your SD card, then boot into recovery via the 3-button method.
Select "Data/factory reset", and "clear cache", then reboot system. You can then insert your SD card again.
Hopefully your phone will boot correctly.

Ok, then. Just to make sure, you do have the international version of the p6, right? P6-U06?
I just can't understand how nothing is working for you, although we already know that your system IS able to boot with the Chinese firmware, just not completely.

Yes, but what I was asking is if the device you have is the P6-U06.
Anyway, I'm afraid I don't know how else to help you, except to suggest taking it to a service centre.
Or as a last resort, try installing TWRP. There is a guide in the TWRP thread.

Hi, I had a similar problem last week and here is how I finally could bring my P6 back to life:
1) Install TWRP and wipe system, data and cache
2) Install CM11 ROM and boot with it
3) Put back the B510 stock recovery
4) Install B116 stock rom by putting its Update.app in the dload folder - reboot with the three buttons and it went in recovery and I selected install from external sdcard
5) Boot with this rom, then upgrade to any verstion you like.
I hope this procedure will work for you too.

I've been wondering the same thing! I've downloaded a rooted stock ROM but havent installed it, hoping that I could get the OTA update when I do.
i've been getting whole heaps of errors on updating to lollipop.....
using the recovery found in the 1.60.707.3 gets me update to this version, then wen i try to install 2.34.707.1 ota i get red exclamation mark, upon pressing vol up + power i shows "/system/etc/permissions/platform.xml has unexpected contents" error.... giving up on ota... anyone has the ruu for 2.34.707.1 ?

Hello again
Latest firmware with Lollipop 5.1.1. is here and i make also a flashable zip for Xperia Z1 (C6903), and so far is been released in just few countries. I make it pre rooted as by my side once you have a pre rooted firmware you can be able to manage and delete apps what you don`t need to free space in your mobile.
What do you need:
- Flashable zip
- Mobile phone Xperia Z1 (C6903) - with CWM/TWRP to can flash the zip
- USB Cable (make sure your battery is over 75%)
- Attention and patience
The procedure to flash the zip is the same like in other threads (copy the zip to your external SD Card and from there reboot your phone to CWM/TWRP and select - install zip)
STEPS TO UPDATE FROM ORIGINAL 5.0.2 Lollipop
1 - Download the .zip from the link bellow in Download section
2 - Copy the .zip to your External Memory (SD Card)
3 - Reboot the phone in Dualrecovery (CWM/TWRP/Philz)
4 - Select INSTALL, then
4 - Navigate to SD Card (external memory/sdcard1) and select the .zip you copied on step 2
5 - Confirm to flash the .zip
6 - When it says FINISHED and if all goes without errors select BACK then Reboot System
7 - Wait patiently for Android to Update and to boot up, the first reboot is longer than a normal one (around 5 minutes)
If you have no root access and not dual recovery and you are running Android 5.0.2 you must follow this steps:
1 - Downgrate to original firmare .108 (see below the Downgrate section)
2 - ROOT and INSTALL DUALRECOVERY
3 - Then follow the same steps as i wrote above to Update
The content of zip is
- firmware C6903_14.6.A.1.216_Customized CE [Central Europe] (i found with XperiFirm on thread wrote by @IaguCool so of course credits go to him)
- UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46 credits go to @Chainfire
- LATEST Z1-lockeddualrecovery2.8.22-RELEASE.flashable credits to @[NUT]
I used PRF Creator to make this zip flashable, credits go to @zxz0O0
DOWNGRATE TO 108 http://techbeasts.com/2015/04/14/root-xperia-z1-c6902c6903-14-5-a-0-242-5-0-2-lollipop-with-dual-recovery/
If you have done before flash with dual recovery you may skip the last link, but if it is your first time when you try to do this i highly recommend you to read before each thread including the one on last link.

Changelog
Sony Xperia Android 5.0.2 14.5.A.0.270
– Ensured the lock screen / notification bar doesn’t indicate “no service” when the device has coverage
– Added a Sony feature; bringing back the “close-all-button” in the activity menu, so you can easily close all apps at once
– Unblocked devices with server policies (such as Exchange Active Sync for e-mail), to enable the new Lollipop lock-screen notifications
– Ensured the LED light is lit across all sound modes – and no longer offset by “silent”
– Made the necessary fixes to enable the easy movement of content from internal memory to external microSD card (something we saw affecting a few devices)
– Improved messaging functionality in Ultra stamina mode – some conversations could not be opened before in Ultra stamina mode

No fear to flash as it is, just boot to dual recovery , select the zip where you copy it and flash it, then reboot the phone, just be patient the first boot time will be longer than normal. Yesterday before i upload the link i try the zip on my phone and i did not wipe anything, i was on 14.5 A.0.283 (lollipop 5.0.2). Once the reboot was done i have all the settings, messages, contacts was untouched .
Good luck!

So far i update from stock, i am not sure if you have custom ROM or custom kernel how will behave, if you want to give a try make sure you backup your actual ROM and have ready for any case a original firmware to flash it if you fail to flash this zip or to restore your backup

Flashed the non-Rooted FTF in flashtool, so running 5.1.1 unrooted. Can't root via flashtool as it always fails, how do you install a custom recovery when running 5.1.1 so I can install the pre-rooted version?
Will I need to downgrade then install dual recovery then flash the rooted Zip from there?
Cheers

well in 5.1.1. you cannot get root access, you should go back to 108, root and install dual recovery, and after that flash the zip here
...in my post i have a link with a guide how to downgrate and then to come back to lollipop
check here the steps

WiFi Error after OTA Update

I m using A5 DWG (Dual Sim INDIA) variant currently running on Android 5.0.2 with software number 2.34.720.2...
I have done a nandroid backup before starting my OTA updated from 1.50.720.3 Kitkat version... and i tried to flash the OTA files which i saved before through ADB and also through stock recovery and all filed..
so i again download all OTA updates through phone only and i finally noticed that my WiFi isn't working at last...
WiFi shows Error and when i tried to turn on it shows a message turning on and nothing happens and finally shows error again...
currently i m on TWRP recovery and rooted with Super Su 2.52 BETA...
Please help me to sort this problem.. i have saved all 4 OTA update zip files in case if needed...

I fixed my A5_DWG wifi error problem by flashing this firmware.zip which i extracted from my saved OTA zip file [OTA_A5_DWG_L50_DESIRE_SENSE60_MR_hTC_Asia_India_2.34.720.1-1.61.720.1_release_42679069fdnhxh57nk13c0]
Try this only if u are from A5_DWG...
Follow the instruction from step 1 to 8 explained here
