Hello, is it possible to activate Palm Rejection in this App?

Yep!
Settings )the gear icon in the ep, second top left) --> Pen Mode --> ON.

Yes, but it doesn't work. Your palm still activates zoom-in and zoom-out as you rest it down on the screen. The best solution I've found is make sure the pen is the first thing to touch the screen, then rest your palm down.

Because that's not what palm rejection is designed to do.
It prevents you from drawing on the screen with your hands. That, and only that.
Multitouch and Controls, including zoom, are not part of that.
It clearly says so in the menu.

Even if you put your hand on it first, as soon as the pen gets near to the screen, touch will be deactivated anyway.

Root get gmd spen control. There is a gesture to shut off all touch recignition besides the pen.

Interesting "Three Dots" Alternative That Never Made It

I happened to see a vid posted online comparing a prototype AT&T XL to the One X. It's got a different approach to the settings dots than what ended up implemented. It's an overlay that doesn't reduce the available size of the screen. I get that you hit the down arrow to hide it. But how would get get it to redisplay? I guess we'll never know.

There's also a really stupid feature on the One X. You can set the off button to hang up on calls (I liked it on the SGS2). When you're on the phone the screen blanks to save battery. So with a blank screen and no physical or active buttons, the only button that functions is the on/off switch. In other words, once the screen goes blank it has to stay that way until you hang up the call. Interesting feature.

The phone uses the proximity sensor, when you place it close to your ear the screen blanks, when you take it away the screen turns on again. You don't need the power button.
That arrow to pulls 3 dots bar down comes on 1.19 software. I had it before but I updated to 1.26 and it was gone

Not on BT. That's the way I was using it when I found the problem. Good point though.

After you arrowed it down, how were you able to get it to redisplay?

By holding down the recent apps button. I also had it in 1.19 but then it was removed when i updated to 1.28

Multitouch problem.

I seem to be having a problem with my multitouch. Like when playing SAS 3, two finger controls seems to go haywire like it would sort of let go halfway. Any solutions/fix?

could be a faulty HOX..
Go to System Settings, scroll to bottom, tap on Developer Options, select the option "Pointer Location" and nothing else!!
now go home.. and touch the screen as you normally would with your 2 fingers and just drag down.. you'll see some crosses and lines.. if those lines have no brakes in them and they stay on screen until you touch somewhere else, then you should be fine, probably just the app that's bugged..
PS: disable the Pointer Location after you test..
report back
EDIT: PIC

It works perfectly well with one finger but quite there's a slight delay when two fingers are there.

Tip: Decrease the Galaxy S III’s home button activation lag/latency

In addition to taking you to your homescreen, the Galaxy S III’s physical home button is used to activate Samsung’s S Voice feature By default, double clicking the home button will automatically bring up S Voice. However, in order to recognize a double click, the Galaxy S III must add a few milliseconds of delay..
This is known already. If you are putting "Tip" in the Title then it should be an actual tip in there. Just my take. I may be wrong... But I doubt it. Not to be a butt head but sheesh... lol

WTF is this? If you put "Tip" in the title, put the ACTUAL tip in the thread instead of rant... such noob.

Just the tip to see how it feels! :banghead:
I think the recessed home button is inevitable :\
And if you touch the screen all sorts of stuff happens. Thats tip #2.

I don't use svoice so I disabled double click and now my home button is responsive

if you press the power button your screen will go black, tip#3
Came across another tip while trying this one out!
In addition to filling the cavity in the rear of the phone, the Galaxy S III’s battery provides power to the phone. By default the phone experiences extreme lag without a battery (days, even months).
*Samsung was forced via an Apple lawsuit to install this delay by default.

[Q] How to hide the side-bar in the Gallery?

Hi Guys,
Is there a way to hide the sidebar of the Gallery when you are browsing pictures in the Album?

No. You have to use quickpic. But you loose the air view functionality. ..

Bummer ! I enjoy moving pictures easily between Albums in the stock Gallery. Maybe they need to have this functionality in the next upgrade.
I wonder if if anyone is seeing a bug similar to what I'm seeing. On this same gallery side bar when I attempt to scroll up and down the list keeps resetting itself back to the last selected folder. If I'm doing something wrong then please tell me as this is very frustrating!
Swipe left and the sidebar will be hidden. Dunno if that is a new addition or not.
I did not know that thank you.
Neither did I til last night. Just happened to slide my finger left and the sidebar disappeared. I wonder what other stuff I can do that I don't know about yet
swipe left doesnt work foe me

It doesn't work for me either.
nor myself. I wonder if Chrissss isn't getting confused with the multi tasking side bar menu??

It's work fine for me: Good:
How do you get it back? I actually liked the gallery side bar
It worked for me. I wonder why it only works for some and not for others.
It sounds like it. Swiping to the left does not restore the album sidebar I want too.
It works. Just needs a little practice.
Swipe on entire screen to the left to hide it.
Swipe similarly to the right to bring it back.

Question question about the interface and buttons

one way to access split screen mode is using 3 finger gesture swipe, is there another way?
with my s7 edge there was the split screen icon in the app switcher (tree lines)
second question, what is the T lock / unlock symbol in the top right corner of the app switcher? what does it do?
third question, anyway to increase the loud speaker volume? is it just the media volume setting?

This is the unknown lock/unlock symbol I'm referring to. What does it do? I pressed it and didn't notice anything different
I think the lock symbol is supposed to keep the process running in the background. I could (and probably am) wrong, but I thought I read that somewhere. And it only seemed to work for a short time.

1. Yes, the 3 finger gesture swipe is one way, I also believe you can assign the smart key button (left side) to start split screen as well, I think you can either do press, double press, or hold
2. If you swipe down on the app while in app switcher, it keeps process open in background, and won't be closed if you click "clear memory"
3. Just increase it as much as you can. This phone does have a weaker loudspeaker, especially with only one on the bottom
