[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][WIP] Cyanogenmod 11 (4.4.4 - kitkat) for fairphone FP1 - Fairphone

Code:

PHONES CAN BE LIVE SAVERS. THIS DEVICE IS NOT SUITABLE AS YOUR ONLY MEANS FOR COMMUNICATIONS AND IS NOT BEEN TESTED TO SUPPORT EMERGENCY CALLS. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ANOTHER PHONE WITH YOU.
CyanogenMod/CWM is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed.
This is a rom for fairphone FP1 - 1st edition, repartitioned as of Cherry 1.6.
Do not install on any other device than the FP1 - I have not tested it on other devices and I do not have the FP1U1 (second edition).
This is basically the same rom as the KK build I do for the Wiko Stairway with a few FP1 changes (esp of course the kernel, magnetometer service, other minor differences). It uses a blob from the Wiko mtk-ril.so as the original FP1 blob crashes the rild.
What works:
- SIM1 for phone calls (incoming/outgoing) and SMS, data (2g, 3g)
- SIM2 is a WIP
- Audio (microphone - now also outside phone calls, loudspeaker, headphones, OK google)
- Sensors
- Wifi (not wifi direct)
- GPS (no A-GPS yet nor EPO assist files, so the fix can take a bit)
- hw composer
- camera for taking pictures (not video)
- wifi and usb tethering
- battery usage stats (expect the usage for Display to be very unprecise)
- candy crush, facebook and twitter
What doesn't work, known bugs:
- 2nd sim card 3G switch
- Dual SIM is a WIP and has some bugs (data connection instability, etc.)
- camera for "movies" does not work
- (hw) video en/decoding not enabled
- bluetooth not available
- FM radio not available
- A-GPS does not work, GPS works though but slowish
- rest of MTK specifics (what?)
- ... you tell me
Credits: many thanks go to the omnirom project as they have done lots for mt6589 already (https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/q/topic:mt6589,n,z). Esp to xplodwild and drshadow, pawitp, dhacker29, keesj, tmp_
Installation guide:
- Install latest CWM linked in this thread (for installation see in: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2615613) - if you don't have it yet, make sure you backup recovery.img
- Make a backup with CWM - you will want to go back to stock, don't blame me if you don't have a backup!!!
- copy the .zip to the phone and flash the zip with CWM
- copy the gapps to phone and install the zip (see: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps - this is CM11)
- Wipe

Thank you very much !
I tried it (this was my first experience with CM so far) and I think I wont go back to android anytime soon
Despit the name of the download (FULLOFBUGS ^^), I found it actually quite stable (It's true I haven't done extensive testing)
The only not known bug I encountered (and I absolutly dont care, please dont waste time fixing it ) was with the grass animated walpaper.
I also encoutered the
very minor glitches in animations (like turning your phone by 90 degrees) with smaller stripes

I am exicted and interested in news as well.
But:
It's barely been a week. @chrmhoffmann made something great here, but is probably working on this in free time. Please show some patience and don't make this Fairphone forum look like other threads here on xda.

First of all: many many thanks for even trying to bring CM11 to the Fairphone!! I don't own one (yet) as up to now I felt that this project might lead into a dead end (i.e. a device that after some rather short time is no longer supported). Now the perspective is quite different.

Fairphone states this on the specs page (http://shop.fairphone.com/specs-page.html):
Dual SIM, Dual Stand-by. One SIM: 3G; one SIM: 2G. Standard format miniSIM card (not included).

Could this mean that SIM #2 is by design restricted to 2G?
Out of curiosity: one more question regarding phone and kernel: can the CPU be overclocked? If so, what steps are available, has anyone encountered stability issues?

These "developer forums" are usually only for bug reports and the like, so I hope it's ok for me to post this here.
Yes, nice observation lm089, I now remember reading that too. Hardware doesn't seem to be able to go 3G with the second SIM card! So this isn't even a bug of this ROM
In regards to overclocking it's probably best to open a new thread

Actually it does support 3g for the second SIM. You can choose which card is restricted to 2g.
Greetings,
paalsteek

0.2
0.2 released.
Nothing much changed in terms of mtk specific. Just sync to current cyanogenmod sources (approx. M10).
Chris
PS: Files need some time to show up on goo.im.
PS2: It is there now.

Thanks Chris for your wonderfull work. Will you also port Android L when it is available?

Awesome work on the your port of cyanogen! I bought the FP1 at launch with high hopes for the phone, especially as it aimed to be open and community driven. Sadly, the hardware vendors fell a bit short of that promise. But finally I'm able to install a CM based ROM for my FP1! I use it as my backup phone and for the longest time it was the only phone that wasn't CM based.
Keep up the good work! I'll follow this post for any updates you may post.
Thanks again mate!

Time Clock
Thanks for this beautiful work chris,
What for me doesn't work is the the alarm clock when the devis is turned off.
I liked it when i can shut down my dev. and it wakes me up in the morning
But no as essential as the "(hw) video en/decoding"... short question:
Why does Youtube work, and other video-streaming programs per example "Twitch TV" not?
Has the Youtube Software decoding included and Twitch probably not?
Best regards

well android (cm11 as well) is not able to run the alarm clock when the device is turned off...is not a problem of this particular rom... however the stock rom of FP1 can turn on the phone at a certain hour, but maybe you already know it.

Merge OS?

Yeah, I thougt that it will be something like that... Thanks
But the Sourcecode of de Stock ROM of Fairphone ( https://fairphone.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201189497-Fairphone-OS-multiple-versions- )
and from Cyanogenmod is available too on GitHub ( https://github.com/CyanogenMod )
Isn't it possible to put the code from Fairphone OS which refers to the Alarm-Clock-wake-up-mode into the CM-code?
When the Fairphone OS is installed, then it's possible, in cause of this it has to be a OS/Software-Problem...
I really don't understand many things from Android, sorry for that, but I'm working on it

Any news on bluetooth functionality?
Is there any prospect of bluetooth working in with this ROM soon?
I know questions like this can be a pain in the ass for developers, so please don't get it wrong, but I'm eagerly waiting for Android 4.4 (especially CM) on the Fairphone for such a long time now. In combination with the Pebble Smartwatch, the notification system with Android >= 4.3 is so much better. But obviously, the smartwatch functionality relies on bluetooth.
Thanks, Tobi

first, thanks again for your wonderful work!
then, I'd also need these gaps to be filled so that this could be a productive version:
- BT working
- the timing / auto-shutdown / auto-start function from FP OS
- Optimized Battery Life
- maybe a FP branding (I really like the startup screen, fonts and wallpaper from FP OS)
Is there still any involvement with the FP guys? Could they help out regarding the details or are they involved somehow? What can the community do to help?

we all are wondering a total functionality of this rom, but pushing the developer is never a good thing. He is not paid for his work, is just volunteer work so if he has free time maybe he will do it, maybe not. Don't expect that everything will be done soon.. .

this comment seems to be a bit pretentious... keep calm, he make volunteer work, and have no relation with the FPs Soft Developer, also because the development section of FP is from an external company.. so keep calm and wait, if he will have free time to spend on it, maybe will continue to develop, maybe not, but don't push him

AOSP LOLLIPOP: a wee better than stock.Directly from the OMAP4XXX team, here it is... a completely stock experience.
Back in July 2014, i started working on Android seriously. From a newbie, i had put up a nice kernel, aka the FreshKernel, based on Ziyan's rebased OZ, the first of its kind.
Later on, i joined the party on hangouts with all the other developer, to whom i'm really thankful. (@MWisBest, @aosp, @Ziyan, @bsmitty, @jhonnyx, pattyboi, @Hashcode, @Icepeda, @osm0sis and all the others i might have missed out.)
Few months later, i managed to sync my first repo (after dozens of root issues on my computer, ugh) and started working, a few days after the release of 5.0.0_r1.
Now, a month and a half after, i'm here to announce you my first rom, simply called: AOSP.
What does it differ from other ROMs?
Simple. It's philosophy is staying close to stock. Even closer that OmniROM. Closer to AOSP than AOSP itself.
Jokes apart, AOSP is the true philosophy, with a few tweaks to make it feel snappier but not too much intrusive changes.
Kinda how ShinyROM was for KK 4.4.
HOW STABLE IS IT
VERY STABLE.
But there are some bugs, however. They're more or less, the same as CM12 and FML.
-H/W Decoding has some issues. 3GP with AVC containers are buggy, as well as some rotation issues and lags.
-Camera is not saving pictures. This might be due to some resolution stuff being borked. Also, video throws out green lines. (Perhaps OMX?)
Aftermarket cameras work OK (I suggest Camera FV-5 or CameraFX)
-Offline Charging is broken. Also, "charging" text stays stuck on the lockscreen.
-Swipe on Google Keyboard is somehow, still broken.
-LMK is TOO DAMN aggressive.
More? You tell me!
TAKE ME TO THE DOWNLOADS!

Changelogs
150215 to 130315
-Updated to 5.1 (LMY47D).
Galaxy Nexus is now so overpumped it performs like it's on heavy drugs. (SPD +10)
-Added Color Control and OC. (And under-the-hood changes.)
-Netflix and Google Movies are now fixed!
-There is no *charging* stuck on the lockscreen anymore!
-Offline Charging fixed!
-REMOVED RRO. (Seems like it's broken on 5.1, so no-go for the moment.)
260115 to 150215.
-Added translations for Czech, Russian, Brasilian Portuguese, Portuguese, Polish, Serbian.
-Misc updates to devicetree.
-Updated icons.
-Fixed brower settings FC.
-Added RRO Theme Overlays: feel free to test it out with the BitSyko Layers app.
-Fixed keyboard swipe FC.
220115 to 260115.
-Added translations for Italian, German.
-Removed proprietary binary fRom with dumpdcc by @Ziyan .
-Removed LED light while recharging.
-Tweaked LMK again. These values should be the best. and lag should be gone. Report eventual laggyness or issues to multitasking.
-Enabled SELinux Enforcing mode and enabled PIE security. (You should be able to see SELinux status in Settings->About phone.)
231214 to 220115.
-Screenrecording fixed.
-Camera fixed, 90% done.
-H/W Decoding has been improved.
-Flashlight quicktoggle is now working.
-Long SMS sending ( >160 char) is now working.
-More SELinux policies, going towards a fully enforcing build soon. Please, report every denial you see in dmesg. RIL/Radio related are very needed atm.
-LMK has been lowered to keep a better multitasking. Values are still being reworked. Please report how it behaves.
[EXTRA INFO] AOSP+ is 85% done, expect a release soon. Just have a few bugs to deal with, just need the time to.
121214 to 231214.
-Updated to 5.0.2_r1 [LRX22G]
-Added Reboot and Airplane Mode under power menu.
-Geolocalization fixed. (It was fixed before, just an overlay mismatch problem.)
-Removed IccSmsIntergaceManager debug logs.
Mainly to dev purposes, this pushes the hell out of logcats. We're trying to fix the camera here!
-Fixed a method signature on hardware_ti_omap4xxx repo.
-Enabled NON-PIE binaries.
Was it enabled before? I don't remember. PIE is disabled until fRom gets fixed.
-Switched PVR back in the Kernel.
This should fix issues with custom kernels. Also, AOSP+ kernel is coming soon! (tee-hee)

What about your work for FML? Will you still be contributing to that project?
good luck with your project freshgiammi!
You should've called Fresh Rom xd
when I get my new phone, I will flash some 5.0 roms on my gnex since I won't use it as my main phone anymore. This one is surely included!
Thanks, this will be ext4 or f2fs also? And i don't understand but you say that other camera apps how camera zoom fx or camera fv-5 works, but for me not (in fml and cm12). Works for a few time and then not anymore, i get error and i must reboot to use camera again (and only for a few time)
Thumbs up Gianni!
Is GoogleBackupTransport working with this ROM? Works great with Ziyan's CM12 builds, not so much with FML.

Yep, it's awesome. AOSP and no superfluous junk. With minimal GApps, it's perfect for building your device now Google's gone all modular. LMK is still a little OTT, but still, great job @freshgiammi - amazing. Those guys on ShinyROM sure are gonna be happy!

http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/122021/
Next on my list is the RenderScript driver (once it's working it should provide a noticeable performance boost).
It seems to be broken on the cm-12.1 branch as well by the way.
I also fixed a bunch of overlays, the most important one (to me) being proper brightness levels.
Auto brightness works much better now
Also, with Android's Doze feature (to save battery while suspended) I was able to make it through the day with 40% charge left in the morning, and now it's 8pm here. This includes flashing multiple test builds, debugging and so on, with the device being connected via USB for short periods (a few minutes each).
Now we all know that charging on the USB port doesn't really 'charge' the device all that effectively, so I'm super impressed by this uptime.
I wasn't able to get anywhere near this in any of my Lollipop builds, it's just crazy.
Wow great news mate I am happy like a child

I've seen good developers and then there's you. Superb, thank you
Running the build. All seems amazing, apart from your mentioned to-do list (except video encoding-considering you fixed it before I even booted up-; you're a boss). Performance is pretty snappy already!
Any chance for 910 u user or was my $40 just a unknown c financing the beginning of the year?
Eny idea wen is for f compatible ?

Which bootloader and modem are you using? For me it is not passing starting apps screen. I'm on the 5.1.1 bl and modem.

Is there anything you can do with sound quality and level? I know it's hard since Samsung doesn't release all the source codes. I just ask if it's possible or not?
EDIT: BTW you are the top of devs that making our precious baby better.
Congratulations for the work, waiting for the official version, I love u work <3

Give him time he will get it working. He is one hell of a developer.
Small feedback
Dirty flash ended with bootloop (on top of the last 5.1.1 buld)
Clean flash hanging at "Starting apps" (aprox 15mins)
Regards
Edit:
Hm it is possible the ext card to be the reason for this.. Will try without tomorrow.
N910U sim card not recognised (RIL issue?). Remove SDcard for it to boot up or it will just boot-loop when it tries to finish setup.

I think he hard coded it for the 910c modem when he gets it proper it should work on any 910xx modem. So be patient he is damn good at what he does and I'm sure he will fix it up when he is ready to.

COJ5 bootloader and COJ5 Modem, but the issue you are having has nothing to do with the bootloader or Modem. Take out your SD card on bootup and it'll boot fine.

UVC support enabled in kernel. probably need to build rom-side support still. libuvc avutils etc.

USB Gadget functionality as per pelya's work ,
- pelya/android-keyboard-gadget
I am working my kernel source here toward net-huntery goodness.

Notes and Updates
NOTE
SELinux is COMPLETELY disabled on this build. If You want security go back to stock.
SELinux enforcing is the goal though.
I strongly recommend using a "traditional" root os SuperSU over systemless-root.
Reasons:
Opengapps requires a factory-reset or fresh install to set up correctly!
Privacy Guard based root sucks. It forgets alot of permissions granted.
Use BETA-SuperSU-v2.52
Would have posted earlier but needed a smoke break *>cough<*
NOTE: this initial offering is in 3 parts due to limited bandwidth issues.
When i have resolved external storage i will upload a new build.
NFC may take a little longer.

Hy well this thread need a clean start
And I will test it this weekend
(single sim) hopefully it works like a charm and till then i hope you fix some little bugs you mention
BTW cause I have a SmartWatch (moto360)
Does the Bluetooth restart or dont work like it should be?

So, a small report about this ROM. For now I'm using it two days in a row, and it's pretty stable - you can use main functions without any troubles: WiFi, RIL, Themes Engine etc. Bluetooth works great, crashes sometimes and automatically restarts - not a big deal. It's a really smooth for alpha build and could be used even as daily driver if you close your eyes on some small bugs with not so important stuff. Anyways, testers are welcome

Ok cleaned this up a bit.
I don't really have much issue with discussion on GIT etiquette, and tips to keep your "house clean" as it were. I think that's a good thing with devs working together on things like that.
Here's the bottom line. If you are merging commits into a kernel you have to keep the original authorship, period. To do otherwise is kang. We all know this.
Now if some dude has some private repo where during personal testing authorship is removed, but anything merged into the public kernel or the release repo/binary maintains proper authorship, then that is a bit gray, but the user is not clearly attempting to claim authorship at all.
If anyone sees a blatant kang, or attempt to hide/claim authorship, please report to the mods for handling. If this particular point needs more discussion, please open up a thread about it and have a non flame war discussion about it.
@moonbutt74 - I do ask that you make it very blatantly sure what your public release repo is, and that your authorship is maintained, and I actually recommend you do not link your personal playground repo to avoid situations.
Thanks guys.
After looking thru all and speaking with the OP, I am closing this thread.

So far 5.8ghz won't be recognized and the camera starts out dark and has issues now and then. Ive updated some of the libs to 30E.
other variant?
Super psyched to try this. I was thinking about trying to teach myself how to build ROMs just so I could give it a try. Glad I don't have to now that someone who actually knows what they're doing is building it.

Looks like everything works. Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, sensors... Everything I use anyway. The only thing I've noticed is it's a tad sluggish. It unlocks a bit slow, apps open a bit slow, and the keyboard locked up for about 5-10 seconds a few times. I'm going to let it settle a bit longer see what happens

Agree that everything I've tried works so far. It does seem a little slower than the plain cleaNrom but I'll take a rom with features anyday. So glad to find a 7.0 rom where I can configure the nav buttons.
can you guys show me some screenshorts. i really looking forward to try this rom

Howdy - when you say "BT works", does that mean:
1. You can connect to a BT speaker, for instance & play music thru it.
2. Can you pair to your car, play music via BT & accept a phonecall without crash or freeze?
I've seen BT issues mentioned on every other N ROM I've been following, would be way cool to have one break that barrier .:good:

I'm going to add subtratum to the rom. If the rom seems sluggish it could be because it's still needs to be optimized. Its using stock toolchains and the kernel I'm using for the g3 hasn't been optimized yet either.

im having uber issues adding in subtratum. Everyone elses rom you just cherry-pick and you're done. On slimrom it's requiring more work.
I got subtratum working.
How stable is it? Any FCs, reboots, etc? A little sluggish is okay. Thanks.

ROMs Comparison - Differences & Reviews

Hey there, I haven't updated my Note II (N7100) in a while so I was wondering what's on the custom ROMs scene these days.
Long story short, I came across a popular few listed below but it doesn't do much to help differentiate one ROM from another. While it's easy to say "give each a try & find out for yourself", I was hoping we can be a bit more objective to describe the functionality of each ROM & what they feature to make them stand out from the rest.
Ideally, I can keep the list updated following your feedback. Please feel free to give me your suggestions to improve it further. Thanks!

Are we able to do that ? I never knew that it was possible to exist a thread like that. Its going to be very helpful, if its going to be continued. I will definitely follow and get informed .
Thank you for creating this.
:good::good:
---------- Post added at 03:32 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:19 AM ----------
BUT IF WE WANT TO BE FAIR , we must inform that Aicp and Lineage roms have been updated recently
AICP has a daily base update so the last nightly is 11/6/2017
http://dwnld.aicp-rom.com/?device=n7100
Lineage's ROM also have been updatedd 3/6/2017
http://tilak.sergix44.ovh/n7100/
RR is not easy to keep track, as they release a rom and after a while it disappears from their server and an unofficial pops up and so on. I was never able to understand what is happening in that thread and this is very unfortunate since RR is (or was for NOTE 2) one of the most popular roms. It was the first not stock based, custom rom i flashed in my note 2
NucleaROM also has a newer version:
NucleaRom-V1.0.7-OFFICIAL[7.1.2]-n7100-20170525
http://nuclearom.com/download/nuclearom-v1-0-7-official7-1-2-n7100-20170525-1513-zip/?lang=en
and HenonHD , I think is going to surprise us pleasantly , with something even newer from them all
Tomorrow , if its OK, I will write my personal opinion for every one I have tried.
N7100 ROMs Table (Nougat) (updates stopped)
Moved to its own thread (here).
take a look in NucleaROM by @moludo. New built today 13/6/2017 is fantastic, with CM S-PEN support inbuilt.
I think its the top for now.

Are we able to do that ? I never knew that it was possible to exist a thread like that.

I don't see why not
You'll notice I've avoided subjective opinions when comparing the ROMs to avoid any kind of bias beyond what each of them offer. A similar [THREAD="3220724"][INDEX] thread[/THREAD] exists for our Note II & most other device forums but it hasn't been updated since the tail-end of last year so I'm aiming to just focus on a detailed "specs sheet" of ROMs.

BUT IF WE WANT TO BE FAIR , we must inform that Aicp and Lineage roms have been updated recently AICP has a daily base update so the last nightly is 11/6/2017

I'm just keeping track of stable release dates. I'm sure you understand that it gets a bit trickier to keep track of nightly release dates of various ROMs. However, I'll make a note to label ROMs with a nightly release schedule as such.

ROMs table
NB: Unfortunately, sensors are not working on my Note 2 (water damage on 170708), so I can't check sensor related stuff anymore.
AICP 170702 (LineageOS):
Temperature is changing (good).
OpenCamera works now (!) (fixed beginning of July 2017)
XenonHD 170707 / 170714 / 170720 (LineageOS) (my current 'daily driver'):
Bluetooth transfer (to another Samsung device) not working (it is working in AICP / MM, also in CosmicOS/AOSP / N)
Temperature is always 30° (bad). Lockscreen shows static values '5.0V 30°C' (fixed in 170703; back in 170720)
Lockscreen: charging current always 0 'mAh' (minor)
OpenCamera cannot be started (fixed in 170703)
NucleaRom 170622 / 170627 / 170713 (LineageOS):
Bluetooth transfer: not working
Temperature is always 30° (bad). Lockscreen shows static values '5.0V 30°C'
OpenCamera not working (working in AICP/XenonHD)
RR 5.8.3 170419 (LineageOS) (thanks to CLaudioman2009):
NO HDMI out (neither in MM RR version)
NO screen mirroring to dongle (at least worked in the MM RR version)
Google camera takes photos but not video
NO xposed but can use some few magisk modules
RR 5.8.3 170714:
OpenCamera cannot be started (170714)
CosmicOS 170326 (AOSP):
Random reboots (!) (bad)
Bluetooth transfer works
Temperature is changing (good).
OpenCamera cannot be started (working in AOSP 7.1)
Signal strength indicator shows always 40%
Wifi does not work; flash void kernel v1.8.6 to fix it
crDroid 170730 / 170801 (LOS):
GPS not working
OpenCamera ok
Wifi ok
Thanks for your feedback, @jer194! Just added a "Flaw" column to the table to keep track of significant issues (+ their fixes) that users might want to aware of before committing to install a ROM.
Once again, I'd like to re-iterate to everyone that this is (at least for the time-being) an actively updated thread so your contribution is hugely appreciated for each & every ROM up there. Cheers!
Sorry Guys was all busy with my Sem exams, Hope you all are doing good,
Have so much of notifications to be checked on....
anyway, will see for a week for some new changes in RR, else will release a new stability fix update.
Special thanks to Christoph Schafer for his donation, its not the amount brother, its the appreciation which you shown matters...

The list of flaws for sure is incomplete, the ones in my post are just the ones I'm struggling with
Meanwhile, NucleaROM (170622) and XenonHD (170624) have received updates (see my earlier post).
I think that now that magisk is removed as a default root method and AICP has left us decide what to be used as root, AICP is coming back very strong among the three best for now , together with NucleaRom and HenonHD, which are still at the top three.
Hibin.m , now that he is back, has to give a boost if he intents to keep up, as RR is not what they used to be and what in other phones are still considered as a strong group.
Lineage is always the strong, solid but Spartan rom, which anyone can count on, to test if his phone is working as it should.
Its always the base of them all.
THESE ARE MY PERSONAL FEELING THIS WEEK and no one has to agree with me.
I think its like open season out there, all the kids , now that schools and colleges have finished lessons have come over, looking for things and futures they have left before new years holidays. Amazing how young people dont want to try new things but trying to keep things the way it was a long time ago. A lot of them are even asking how to go back to lolipop or KIT KAT.
TECHNOLOGY is not furniture where old is classic. Here old is outdated and not working anymore, as it cannt keep up new challenges.
Any way, sorry for that, I am mostly talking to my self

Thanks for bumping the thread!
There is no obligation to fix flaws --- everybody is free to do so, if he/she feels like ...
(and there might be more interesting things to do out there).
Anyway, I've updated my two tables I had posted earlier (on N7100 ROMs, and on flaws).
Today i have in my mind this classification about the available roms for our note 2
1. XenonHD 14/7/2017
Everything seems to work just fine in that latest version of the rom
Counting: GPS, video everywhere, video calls in WhatsApp and Viber, built-in from now on. Highly battery friendly. Nova launcher in-built, dark theme option
2. NucleaRom
radioactive kernel of the rom is one of the most effective and customize-able, available now for our phone
also a flawless rom, smooth, fast, battery friendly, with all major functions working perfect.
3. AICP 17/7/2017
very similar with the XenonHD, as they both share sources and DEV
looks slightly slower than the first 2 roms, but its a rom you can also very easy use a a daily driver.
These are my personal and only marks about the roms available right now.
The other roms are still to be update, or be tested since they where absent for a while
Dont you think you have to update threads with the new appeared rom(s),
or you are just waiting for them to mature a little more?

I'm trying to keep my ROM tables updated (see signature); crDroid has been added already.
My device lost some of its sensors, so I'm not able to test thoroughly anymore ...

I know you are doing great job documentary everything. Users haven't yet understand how great and useful is what you are doing. They will appreciate it eventually
so, new entries this week end. You have a lot work to do.
Waiting to see your very useful information
THANKS again for the great job you are doing
:good::good:
So, 2 new entries this week
Lineage's rom (Tilak's) and RR(hibin.m)
Both are updated with new sources and a lot of fixes in both of them.
Lineage's rom comes prerooted, RR provided 2 versions (prerooted and un rooted) for the user to choose.
I installed lineageSU in unrooted RR rom to have a ,as much as possible , equal base to compere the 2 roms.
What i have found out:
Lineage rom, with iSU on it, passes safety net check.
RR rom, can't pass. CTS profile false.
in Lineage rom GPS fixes in device only scan
In RR GPS is not fixing unless in high accuracy (BT WIFI)
In both roms when trying to do a normal voice call using BT mobile network is restarting , so its impossible to make or receive a call.
Only inbuilt camera is working on both roms
Open camera and Snap camera HDR are crashing
Lineage's rom feels more solid but RR is faster in antutu tests, giving you though a sence of a little instability.
Thats what I manage to understand from last night's testing

Thanks for sharing your findings!
I've updated my N7100 ROMs table accordingly.
Just for the RR GPS: it is working in my installation.
The best indicator is in SatStat, 'Satellites':
- if it shows '-/-', GPS is not working
- if it shows '0/0', GPS is working, and is just a matter of patience (and free sky) to get the satellite signals.

yes, you are right.
It took me some more time and a lot of open space, but finally got it FIXED.
Looks like first time takes a little more time when in device only mode
