I've got the issues corrected. i apologize for the delays.
ViSiON-XTREME NG8 is ready to run.
CSC mods, most android green changed to white, light manager for led control, debloated.
Removed apps are in this zip. It is NOT flashable. Apks must be placed in system/app or system/priv-app and permissions fixed to 0644 rw-r--r--. The apps are in their correct folder in the zip.

Looks awesome. I do have a minor bug and maybe it's on my end not sure. But, whenever I go to edit my email settings, system freezes and then force closes. Thanks again for the great looking rom.

it may need to settle in. I won't say that for sure though. I thought i had that fixed. I'm not on SafeStrap and can't replicate it on my device, so I can only go by what testers & users tell me.
Thank for getting back so quickly. The email issue seems to have cleared. But, the lagging is still there. Also, doesn't seem to be any sounds. The options are there and although it lags when I choose the ring tones for example, I still don't hear them on my device. I'm gonna try calling myself from another device and see what happens. But, I can tell you, the rom itself looks great man. I just hope I'm able to work these minor kinks out. I'd love to use this one as my DD.

@bertcarv, sounds also work on my device. I can look for a possible solution later today, after we get back from church. no on promises or eta on a potential fix, but I will investigate and see if I see anything.
for now, have you tried wiping cache & dalvik cache?

Yes, I wiped both a little while ago. I also re-installed the rom. I appreciate it. There's no worries here. I also flashed Ted's at&t apn settings zip. In case that may have something to do with it but I don't think so. Thanks again Dirt. Much appreciated. Have a great weekend!

there is no csc mode. there are mods coded into the csc features for various extra options. for example, the symbols on keyboard, more apps in multi window, lots of messaging mods

Install Method: (Recovery)
1) Reboot into recovery. (volume upu + power and keep holding until you see clockworkmod menu)
2) Make a nandbackup.
3) Wipe cache/dalvik. (rom will do this for you)
4) Flash Rom.
5) Reboot and enjoy.
Make sure you actually give it time to boot as the first boot after flash takes a bit longer.

You can flash ontop but I always recommand atleast wipe cache and dalvik

I was referring to the WiFi/Bluetooth/GPS/Sound/4g toggles we get in the pulldown.
It would be nice if we could change them and add our own, as well as be able to rearrange the whole thing. Something similar to this.. which I realize is Sense based but perhaps it could be ported over? Or maybe it would be easier to port them over from CyanogenMod itself since they are already working on a version for our phone, from what I hear.
oh ok I see, no I won't be doing any mods like that, that would probably take a lot of time and quite honestly I don't know if I could do that, I'm sure someone will release a mod to flash to do it or something, I just don't have the knowledge to do it and I can openly admit it plus I don't want my rom looking like cm

No worries. Maybe an option for screen orientation in the advanced power menu then? In addition to Reboot and Recovery.
It's kinda annoying having to go to display settings every time I want to toggle it on/off (I only use it when browsing websites, webcomics, and such).

Agreed that is on my list of things to get done
Flashed v3.1 yesterday and since then my battery has been on a serious drain. I went to sleep with 97% battery and woke up with 50% (with wifi, bluetooth,gps all turned off). Would reflashing this rom or switching to v3.2 help me out?

Please don't freak out on me but this rom or kernel is causing me to get no signal sometimes. I have to restart to get a signal to return
Had your 3.1 version and i loved it except i couldnt overclock with it. If that could somehow be changed i will run that permently! Love the themeing and thanks for your hard work

Factory Reset?
Flashed your ROM just fine, everything looks fine, but I have a habit of resetting factory defaults after flashing a new ROM (WM6 woes) to make sure the rom and settings are as fresh as possible.
I noticed when I go into settings to do a factory restore, it would restore the original Sprint boot screen and then just hang there. Was wondering if this is normal for all Android roms or this one in particular?
Would it be possible to get a list of known bugs or things not working in the OP? This is pretty standard across most roms. Or.... is the rom already bug free?

I don't know what would be causing 3.1 to drain battery any faster than any other version as nothing has been changed to cause any issues like that, you might be experiencing android os bug that I guess is out that uses a crap load of battery for no reason, you could try a full system wipe then reflashing, I was noticing android os using a crap load of my battery so I just wiped everything and reflashed.

Very smooth so far! I would love to see this ROM go further and more features added!
The only problem I ran into was the quick toggles not working properly.
Not a huge issue for it being in Beta though!

TWRP is recommended. But I am sure other recoveries will work as well. Make sure you have a backup handy just in case there is a problem with the flash.A FULL wipe is required. If you dirty flash thats on you. After the phone boots up, PLEASE let it sit for a few minutes to load up. Then reboot and profit.
HOW TO DO A FULL WIPE....( TWRP )
In TWRP there is a WIPE tab. When you select it, it brings you to the next page to perform a wipe. On that page it tells you what is going to be wiped at the top. IE:Factory Reset,Cache, and Dalvik. On the bottom of that page is a Swipe to Factory Reset. Swipe it. Once it has completed its actions hit the back button.
Now you will see a tab that says Advanced Wipe. Select it. On the next page you NEED to select the following:
DALVIK CACHE
SYSTEM
CACHE
After you have made those selections you need to Swipe to Wipe at the bottom of the page. Once it completes its actions you may then flash your rom. Now everyone knows how to perform a FULL WIPE.

Wondering the same thing.
I'm loving it. ...wooooot I can finally post stuff !!!!!....I digress without all my normal build prop tweaks I redownloaded my normal apps quite quickly and minimal battery drain while still very fluidly without much lagging still did other random tasks thanks @The Sickness superb as always

Any improvements with reception at all? Will probably be updating in the next few days.

I keep having the same issue why do I keep loosing signal it just stays on searching and then WiFi calling error. Does anyone know why?

Hey I'm trying out your blank note cheeky. beautiful work my brother hats off to you love the light theme it really gives it a new life. I qot one question is there a compatible tw launcher to flash to make my home screen have 5x5 or 5x6. The 4x4 kills me with how much space is wasted other then that's this is bada$$.

Thanks. I'll re up that one. I got the same when I tried to download.
It did the same for me but I refreshed the screen and the link popped up to download from I was able to get it.

Happy thanksgiving back at ya. I still have my GNex but it doesn't get much attention. You always better expect to be on that list. I honestly don't think I'd be doing this stuff if not for those clock mods and your encouragement back then
OK got my 1st real issue that I can't figure out on my own. I was playing music with my phone using n7 player now with Bluetooth I only get audio on the right side and when I plug my extra headset in I only get it on my left side. This one got me by the go nads I use my music a lot at work figured this out this morning on the drive in at 3am. I'm on blank note cheeky. Any info would be great loving this to much to try some other rom.
I'll flash blankNote today and see if I can replicate the error. I'm assuming that you aren't running any sound mods or Xposed. If you are let me know. I'll post the results. It will be later though.
No modes just the equipment that comes with n7 player I use exposed but not for music mods just for nav bar and status bar tweaks.

Meant eq not equipment. Got to love auto correct even when it's wrong.
Anyone else having problems with headset only coming out of right side? I couldn't duplicate it. Mine are working fine.
Funny story though. I took some time to try and fix because I could only get sound from the right but it was because my cat chewed the cord. All my other headsets worked perfectly. Needless to say I didn't see a fix. Cat has cost me 2 charging cords and 4 other miscellaneous cords.
Ok I'll try a reflashed maybe that week do it. Thank you for looking in to it for me.

Every 10 nc4 flashes I have some weird issues. A few times bluetooth acts up and also my proximity and air touch sensors. but a clean flashs fixes it. The few times that I have had the issue I let google restore. When I clean flash and manually re-download my apps from play store all works perfectly. Google im prety sure has a bad habit of corrupting backup data.

Xposed Framework
Yup, you read that right, Xposed is now working on Touchwiz Roms! Xposed really needs no introduction. Unfortunately it seems to boot loop if included directly into the rom so I am providing the files here to flash after the initial boot up. Please flash both files in the order that they are listed. If the first boot causes a boot loop or takes a while to boot then try pulling the battery and booting normally again and it should work. I am considering this in SUPER ALPHA still so please do not flash unless you know how to recover from possible issues and errors such as boot loops. Also, all the modules are not yet compatible with it and most need to be updated. You install them at your own peril. T

How To Install:
1) Reboot your phone into your choice of custom recoveries (twrp or CWM)
2) Perform a factory reset of your device and insure that it erases your data, cache and dalvik caches at minimum
3) Flash the ROM! When finished hit reboot!
4)Wait for it to start, first boot can take a while.
5)Go throughout the whole setup.
6)Reboot back into recovery and now flash the PI_Toggles.zip from Downloads. (Please see the FAQ below for the reason why)

Thanks guys. Everything is still a WIP right now including the op, but I should have the Rom up by tonight. I hope you guys like it. I am not by any means done but figured that I was at a good point for an initial release. There will probably be another one pretty quickly in the next few days because I still have a list of stuff that I want to add about a mile long. Therefor, changes are if there is a feature or mod you want, it is probably coming already.

Not yet. This one is still based on the Canadian Lollipop release. Wifi calling is a Tmobile propriatery feature and is only in Tmobiles framework which hasnt been released yet. Once they do release it, I will most likely be updating it pretty quickly.

Yup! I havent personally tested it on the W8 but it is based on the BOC4 framework so it should work no problem. Spen support and all. Everything is fully included except for one small zip to flash after. I just wrote in the FAQ in post 3 why. Everything is fully functional including Private Mode, SuperSU, Shealth etc.
