[Q] Does the LG G3 have a back button LED light like the G2? - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello may I know, does any of you using LG G3 have any led light around the power button?
Like the previous generation of the LG G2, G PRO 2 and G FLEX?
Thanks

No it is now on the front top left.

I just googled that, and wow it really looks good

My Lady Susan has a G2. It has a backlit button on the back, but she has never found that useful.

[Q] Is the G4 that much better than a G3

I have a G3. I'm thinking about buying the G4. Would you?
I had the G2 then the G3 and now the G4. I still think that the G2 was better from both the G3 and the G4. It was faster, had better battery, more features (ex. full landscape mode, even for the home screen). Don't make my mistake. Wait 2-3 months, maybe with a software update it will become a better phone. I thought that my G3 was getting hot but i can't put the G4 on my ear some times. It is definitely having overheating problem . Also the touchscreen is not registering every touch (it's a touch smartphone!!).
I would it's a beast no phone is perfect

I had a G3 as well, and recently got the G4. I like the G4 much better. Better performance, better camera, and it stays nice and cool in my hand (unlike the G3 that got really hot).
Have g2 and had g3. G4 is much better than both IMHO. Quicker, battery as good or better and amazing camera.

Lg G5 Always On Display Port

Does anyone think this is possible/ planning to implement it? As far as I know the g4 and g5 have similar screens, so why shouldn't it? Or do you think it would drain our batteries too much?
I think the G5 uses OLED screen where the G4 uses LCD, more power using. Also I think the G5 has two screens, I imagine it would just be the notification screen that stays always on not the whole thing.

G5 has a lcd screen and it doesn't have two screen
Yep the G5 has an lcd screen, so the feature shouldn't affect the battery any differently, i suppose
Sorry misremembered, was thinking V10 second screen. G5 is LED though http://www.androidauthority.com/lg-g5-always-on-display-672305/

The G5 screen is a wee bit different. Something about a partial on/off state I believe.

Seems like it. The G4 implementation was the swipe down while the screen is off to get the 'peek' menu. Supposedly this is a bit more friendly versus turning the entire damn thing on.

Will G4 battery work in G3?

The first hit on Amazon for "Anker lg g3 battery" turns up lg G4 batteries from Anker? I ordered them by mistake. Will they work in the G3?

Well my G3 arrived today, so I was able to try for myself and found the battery, while the same capacity and shape, is just a bit longer and will not fit. Just in case some one makes the same mistake I did.

LG X Screen screen quality?

Hi guys.
I wanna buy this phone (the mediatek version), but for almost the same price i can get the LG G3 32 GB. I know X power is much better in battery life, but i care a lot about the screen.
My question is, which phone has the best looking screen? I've found that X power screen is just not bright enough, and the G3 just eats power and has washed up colors, but i wanna know what you guys that tried the x power, can tell me about its screen.
Help its very appreciated. Thanks!

LG G8 and screen with PWM for brightness control

Since the G8 ThinQ has an OLED screen, is likely to use PWM to regulate screen brightness. Any confirmation yet on this?
Yes it is using pwm. Even LG Quantum IPS M-LCD use it too, @2200Hz below 35%, while LG previous OLED on v30 @285Hz below 80%. But it seems like LG g8 & v50 & v40 use newer and better panel, no / less flickering compared to v30 & v50 dual (secondary) screen, the difference is so apparent
Are you saying the screen has less pwm on the g8 than the v30?

I believe so, you can see v50 videos with dual screen to see how both display differs
