Failure to Install the Stock ROM - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi! Installing stock ROM on One M8 has driven me crazy. My software version is 2.22.401.5. I couldn't find it in HTC Dev. So, I rummaged forum & find this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2696282 But, When installing ROM through fastbook, I get Error 12 (Signature Verification Failed). It's mentioned in thread that it might be related to CID number mismatch. There is two ways; S-Off & SuperCID or change android-file.txt in the zip & add my CID. I don't want to S-Off. So, Only the second way is remained. How I can change the aforesaid file?
In addition to these ways, Do you know any other method? I really need to flash stock firmware.
Installing stock ROM on HTC phones isn't easy...
Thanks!

Failure to Install the Damn Stock ROM
I forgot to mention that my bootloader is relocked, TWRP Recovery is installed & the phone is rooted. I will be grateful if anyone help me.

There is difference between Firmware & ROM? ! Would you explain me the differences shortly?
I found a Nandroid backup in your topic which matches with my CID Number! But, I have a few questions. (I can't ask them in your topic. Because I haven't 10 posts or more. So, I can't reply to any topic in development section.)
1- If I use them, Root access will be lost?
2- They aren't manipulation?

I'm not in the dev section, it's the general
1: yes root is gone on a nand backup (that's why they are called stock nand backups) at least they should be because i didn't test them !
2: they are afaik not manipulated in any way. Haven't received any complaints yet
Edit :
Stock rom is the pure software. The firmware contains the hboot/bootloader (no rom)

I want to help you and many other may want to help you but you're not helping yourself when you put the blame on your device when the biggest wrongs is you yourself. Please search and read as there are many guides on XDA
For a start:
1. You need to unlock the bootloader. So the question is : do you still have the unlock_code.bin that you got from HTCdev ?
a- Yes ... use it to unlock the bootloader
b- No ... apply for a new one
Next step - I will tell after you answer the first one

I had unlocked my bootloader through fastboot using Unlock_code.bin. I relocked it again. Now I want to use a nandroid backup & bootloader should unlocked. So, I wanted to unlock it again. But stock recovery should installed. I downloaded stock recovery v 2.22.401.5 which matches with software number & when installing it through fastboot, I get "Signature Verify Failed" error.

You don't really read what people say ...
Here are the basic step
1. unlock bootloader
2. restore nandroid backup 2.22.401.5 with TWRP (when the backup is made with TWRP)
3. flash stock recovery 2.22.401.5 (but why you need this ?)
4. relock bootloader if you want to but NOT necessary and again why do you need this ?
See .. relock bootloader is the last process not the first one ... can you understand now ?
"Signature Verify Failed" error because the bootloader is relocked. You need to unlock it first then there will be no error.
That's why no.3 is before no.4

I don't know how easier I can explain. I can't unlock bootloader unless the recovery isn't stock.
I mean I unlocked bootloader, Then installed TWRP recovery & then relocked bootloader. (Recovery is still TWRP.) Because recovery isn't stock, I can't unlock it for the second time.
easier than this? !

Now ... you make it clear what your problem is. And I don't remember whether unlocking bootloader will not work when TWRP is installed.
Requirement : must have external sdcard.
1. Download the untouched firmware here : http://sourceforge.net/projects/htconem8/files/2.22.401.5_firmware.zip/download
2. Rename the 2.22.401.5_firmware.zip to 0P6BIMG.zip
3. put 0P6BIMG.zip on the external sdcard
4. Boot into hboot - the system will scan the file and ask you whether you want to update - select yes by pressing volume up
5. Now you have stock recovery installed.
6. do whatever you want to do like unlocking bootloader
If the above sound complicated, and you still have root (or install SuperSU as you still have TWRP),
1. install flashify (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify&hl=en)
2. put the stock recovery in your sdcard or external sdcard
3. run flashify to install stock recovery

Thanks so much! I easily send the file to a sd card & after boot into HBoot, It easily installed!
I unlocked the bootloader too!
Now I don't know which nandroid backup is better to use.
1.54.401.5 from PopAhmad which matches exactly with my cid number & update it to 2.22.401.5 using ota (Maybe never updates through ota!) or directly download 2.22.401.5 from you? (I trust to you & your works more.)

Use 2.22.401.5 because you have the latest firmware installed
Or you can use 2.22.401.4 then do OTA to 2.22.401.5 (but not necessary)

Dear "ckpv5", My phone was completely destroyed. :crying: Everything was good until I installed PhilZ recovery. I entered recovery & selected backup & restore. Then, Selected backup to /sd card. It took about 3 minutes to complete. After that, I didn't do anything & went out for about 5 mins. The screen turned off. (It should turns off after 3 mins based on settings.) I was turning on the screen by pressing power button. But, This time nothing happend. I pressed volume buttons too. But ...
I found that if I touch the screen, It vibrates. I tapped the screen many times & nothing happend except vibrate. I holded volum down+power & the device started vibration continuesly & stopped after a few seconds. Once again, I holded volume up+power & the device turned off & rebooted 5 secs later. I was happy. But, found that it stuckes at boot screen.
Now, I can only hold volume up+power to turn off & then, hold volume down+power to boot into bootloader.
I think it's not repairable & want to sell it. (I bought it expensive in Iran.) I think correctly?
However, if it be repairable, I'm sure it's not like its first day.
So much thanks to you. Because you help me sympathetic.

I don't understand what you are trying to do .. first you have TWRP installed then you wanted the stock recovery to unlock bootloader then now you flashed Philz recovery
Anyway.... when you can go to bootloader ... it just a soft brick.
I don't know much about Philz recovery as I find it a bit complicated for me to use it.
I'm using TWRP ... if you can flash a TWRP recovery then I can guide you to bring back your device to life.
For a start, just follow my signature for the TWRP that I'm using.
If you don't have an external sdcard
1. flash TWRP recovery
2. download a ROM like MaximusHD for e.g - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2695706
3. boot to recovery - go to mount - make sure data is selected
4. Put the ROM.zip in the folder where you have your adb file then push the ROM.zip to your device with command
adb push ROM.zip /data/media/0/
5. install the ROM.zip
6. once everything is up and running ... then later you can decide whether to restore to stock ROM as the first day that you got the phone.
When you have an external sdcard
1. flash TWRP recovery
2. download a ROM like MaximusHD for e.g - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2695706
3. Put the ROM.zip on the external sdcard
4. in recovery, install the ROM.zip
5. once everything is up and running ... then later you can decide whether to restore to stock ROM as the first day that you got the phone.

If it can boot into bootloader then it's not destroyed. Just reflash recovery and reflash/restore ROM, after that you can reflash the stock recovery if you prefer.
If you're going to sell it, you should be fair to the person you're going to try and rub that device on, the device that you messed up. Sell it for way less than it's actually worth, seeing as he should spend all the time fixing what you broke in the first place. When I say way less, I mean, less than $100 if the phone cost $700.
Else, if you want to sell it for a decent price then the least you can do is fix it first then sell the phone, seeing as you're not up to scratch with smartphones.
Just repeat the steps already explained to you many times up to now.
Flash custom recovery.
Restore Nandroid backup.
Flash stock recovery.
Might this be a lesson then...if anyone wants to flash custom stuff they HAVE to read up and learn about it first. Instead of just flashing any custom ROM for the sake of running around their friends pretending to be a hardcore "hacker" for having a "modified" phone. "Look at my M8, way better than stock sense, I gots Viper!!! Badass!" until the first fail...
What an expensive lesson to learn, could have saved a lot of money.

[Q] Flash failed and now stuck with "waiting for device" in cmd

Hi guys,
I just bought my One X today. Since it is my first android i am quite noob in all the issues regarding flashing/rooting.
I already unlocked the bootloader, install the clock recovery and then when I try to flash the new rom, i forgot not to extract the zip file so things start to mess up.
Now I am stuck at the HTC boot up screen. I have tried all the methods at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wik...very_-_what_to_do_in_the_event_of_a_bad_flash

but it doesn't work.
The problem is that when i type a command into cmd it keep showing waiting for device
So I don't know what to do now. I really appreciate your help if you could provide step by step.
Thank you so much
OK so as a noob you thought you'd try too root your 1st android phone after having it just one day??? oops! Lesson learned, next time read up loads first and maybe get used to the phone first before trying too root it. Anyway. . .
After installing Clockworkmod did you (as instructed in all the manuals I have read!) do a backup? If so just remove the usb, turn your phone off and go to the cwm boot menu and select restore. Fixed
recovery?
i see you have flashed recovery..
can you get to it??
Press POWER + VOL DOWN until it reboots and keep holding until u get to HBOOT..
from there select recovery and see if that shows up..
if you can get to Recovery, then you can either flash a CUSTOM ROM, or go back to STOCK recovery and then run RUU (a program provided by HTC that will restore you phone to stock) but you also have to relock the boot loader..
based on your choice more info may be required to help you
My best guess is that you have a messed up kernel...

BLACK SCREEN RECOVERY Solved!!

If You are a Victim of BLACK SCREEN RECOVERY?
Then You are in A Right Place......
Hi friends Now a days, there is a series of problem coming with new wildfire s,Unlocked via Htc-Dev.
Ultimately when you peoples are trying to install CWM and getting blackscreen, which stops you to install custom ROMS and all that ....
Just go through this tutorial and get success temporarily(until some permanent success in this regard)
Hi!!
All brothers having black clockmodrecovery....Please pay attention!!!
This solution cannot give you a Visual CWM,But it will work.
I have searched many sites without getting any positive results.
so i have decided to post
my own research
...PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS/
1.Unlock your device with htcdev.com.(Ignore if already done)
2.Root Your Device with Unlock Root (Download Here) (ignore if already done)
3.Download this Latest Official CWM Only This version Is working
4.Download This folder Android(adb pack)
5.Extract and copy android.zip to c: and also copy that file you downloaded in step 3 in the same folder.
6.Take your battery out of your device, reinsert it.
7.press Vol-Down and power key..until bootloader appears,let its search PG76IMG.ZIP.
8.After that press power key once to enter FASTBOOT.
9.Connect your device to PC Now FASTBOOT Will Change To FASTBOOT USB
10.Run the command from CMD,and type
c:\ cd android
Then Type
c:\android\ fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.8-marvel.img .
(Ignore above if already Rooted AND Flashed your WFS WITH clockwork-5.0.2.8-marvel.img).
And Now ..
11.Reboot your phone and install cwm rom manager from Google play.
Restart your device again,
12.Go to rom manager And click on Flash ClockworkMod Recovery, let it download and flash recovery again.(idont know y but some users reported as an important step). and restart ur phone.
13.copy and paste the custom rom you want to flash in your sd card(Renaming it as PG76IMG.zip)
Here is the link of Best ever Cutom rom If you dont have any Rename the zip to PG76IMG .
14.Go to rom manager and tap to install rom from sd and locate the PG76IMG.zip.
(after selecting the PG76IMG.zip a ROM Pre- Installation pop will ask you to wipe Data and chache, and wipe Dalivik chache please tick the both) Backup existing rom is not recommended because it takes much time
15.When PHONE will restarts it will show only the four white keys with complete black screen,Without touching the keys wait for 20 mints as it is.(if restarts you will get your custom rom flashed)......if not...
Remove the battery and normaly switch on your phone and repeat the step 6.
this time it will surely get flashed within 10 mints.
Do remember if custom rom flashing dosent starts and interrupted, your device will be safe. if it starts flashing and interrupted in between and you are not willing to start your phone normally.
Then Follow This tutorial and Make your Mobile Phone working again
Remember : if you will select backup current rom it will take another 20 mints.(i will not suggest you to do so)
N JOY BLACK WILDFIRE S
IDNT KNOW WILL THIS TRICK WORKING ON OTHER BRANDS OR MODELS? Plz let me know if working .(IF THEY R ALSO Experencin same black screen.)
Fully Tested on New HTC WILDFIRE S.
Please hit Thanks If you found this post helpful.

Its a way cwm install Custom recovery from Ui of your phone, and relax i have not tempered or shared any links which are incompatible.
Its a way thats it ,its a default process of cwm for which it is designed for.
what a change here is you cant see anything, but cwm is still doing its work inside.
Ihave done several reserch and finally found that HTC has changed or improved Its Video Chip or firmware. which is incompatible with Cwm currently.
Above situations you have explained are not a sign of bricked phone dear...
follow this thread and make your device awake.

Remember bricking your phone means,(No way to make your phone alive) and this happens when bootloader is erased,in my case bootloader cant be uprooted in any circumstances.
so feel free work on these steps.

Yesterday I got my second Wildfire S with the firmware version 2.13.401.3 and I have successfully unlocked my bootloader via HTCDev. The flash process from the ClockworkMod 5.0.2.8 is completed successfully but the screen stays black for me too. Now I had tried this tutorial but it does not work for me. Then I had the HTC update the firmware version 2.26.401.3 and flashed now I can not even get root privileges. I had read something here now because of the Dalvik cache Wipen but what is the ADB to command? Thank you in advance!
Sorry for my bad english, I come from Germany!

Desire Hd stuck on htc logo after bad radio flash

Make sure you have USB Cable and a Memory card before doing this. ** WARNING ** Flash At Your Own Risk.
This will take 1 hour or maybe more, just make sure you follow the steps carefully and do it carefully. This thread is for people who have no access to their rom and have only access to bootloader.
If you tried to return to stock rom via Advanced Ace Hack Kit and you tried to flash the stockrom back on and it just crashed during the process and you just pulled it out the usb cable out of the phone, So you pull the battery out the phone and restart it. All you see is the htc screen which it is just stuck on. Well I have the solution how to fix this. You might think it is bricked and have buy a new phone well you dont! All the problem is that the Advanced Ace Hack kit the radio RUU they provided you with is either a old version or a corrupted one so the phone cant boot up properly. This thread I am going to tell you how to flash the RUU and put a custom rom on which is ten times better than the android 2.3.5.
You have to concentrate while doing this or you will end up with a dead phone.
So step one - Go to google search and copy and paste RUU_Ace_HTC_WWE_1.72.405.3_R2_Radio_12.28e.60.140f_26.04.02.17_M2_SF_release_163262_signed. go to the second link which says hotfile and download it.
Download the RUU_Signed File Via Hotfile, This will take sometime if you have a slow internet connection.
Step Two - It will say Welcome to the ROM Update Utility for your Android Phone also it will have a image on the left of the Desire HD. So click I Understand and click next so take the battery out of your phone and hold the volume down button and the power button, you will see a white screen with other selections so click bootloader to click it you have to click the power button to select it. So when you click bootloader it will go red and say FASTBOOT, So make sure the usb is in the computer/laptop during this process it will only go into fastboot if you have the usb connected to the computer first.
Step Three - Agree to all of the conditions and click next. Note: This process Will take sometime.
Step four- It will say Congratulations! your phone has been successfully been flashed! Now your phone is fully working and rooted so now your phone will reboot, If it doesnt power it on your self!
So it will boot up in android 2.3.5 because that was the rom that you were trying to flash via AAHK.
Step five - Open Advanced Ace Hack kit and make sure USB Debugging Mode is on.
Step six - There will be a option saying Hack Ace, This will root and install clockwork mod on your device, So type 1 and hit enter.
Note: this process will take sometime. Grab a cup of juice and crisps.
Step seven - The phone will reboot and will still be on android 2.3.5 so now you have superuser access and clockwork mod.
Step eight - Power off the phone and hold the volume down button and the power button, You will be in bootloader so now go down using the volume buttons and select recovery, to select this option you will have to click the power button to enter recovery mode.
Now your phone will be in recovery mode and will say Ace hack kit across the recovery screen, So now select wipe data/factory reset when it has wiped the phone select wipe cache partition, after that has wiped go to advanced option and select wipe dalvik cache.
Step nine - Your phone has nothing on it exept from bootloader and recovery! So now connect your mobile device to the computer and click mounts and storage, make sure your USB is connected. To complete this process make sure you have a 8GB Or 4GB Memory card in. So click mount USB storage, it will mount your memory card so you can access it through the computer to drag and drop files to flash on your mobile. You can download a Jellytime ROM on the XDA Forums So just choose which one you want and download it and drag and drop to the memory card while your phone is mounted to the computer via USB, Make sure you download a Google apps Package and flash it with it if it doesnt have the Google Playstore on the Rom. To Flash any zip files follow this - click unmount, go back to the main recovery options using the volume buttons and power button to select, go to install zip from sd card - select the zip file you want to flash then flash the Google apps Package after you flashed the ROM you want to have on your phone.
Last and final step! - Click reboot system now, your HTC DESIRE HD should reboot to the ROM you have flashed.
Congratulations! You have flashed and rooted your mobile device after being stuck in bootloader/fastboot mode.
If any problems just mail me or mail me via XDA Developers site.
I will help as much as I can to fix any problems.
Thank you for reading this thread and hope it helps.

Wait, I am beyond confused. If you are going back to stock with AAHK you are already S-OFF. You can just flash a recovery (if you don't already have one) and use that to flash a custom ROM if you want, or use AAHK to unroot and return to stock.
And...what does a radio have to do with anything?
And...why would you disconnect your phone while running AAHK?
And...AAHK doesn't provide corrupted RUUs. Maybe your download is corrupted?
Again, confused...

You cant flash clockwork mod on if you dont have USB debugging mode on, when the phone is stuck on the htc logo the only way is to flash a radio that works with the phone through bootloader/fastboot.
also when you flash a radio it wipes clockwork mod off it so you cant flash a recovery.
The radio file either was corrupted or either the wrong one for the phone because most of the time when you flash it is going to go perfectly but there is a chance where it will crash the process.
Again.. I said the radio might not have been corrupted it might just of crashed but you cannot access AAHK through fastboot/bootloader.

Wrong. All you say is wrong and misleading. To flash a recovery you need fastboot drivers working...if you don't have fastboot drivers working, that means that you can not access hboot. Therefore, your phone is bricked.
Second, when you flash a radio it wipes nothing...a ruu wipes partitions not any other stuff. AAHK, does not flash radios but flashes partition to gain ENG S-OFF, but wipes nothing. If the radio was corrupted and you were flashing in PD98IMG.zip way, then it won't flash as it get parsed before doing it, as it is the case in the Hack Kit.
A corrupted radio is bricked device. There is no chance to flash a corrupted radio and have a working phone. Flashing a wrong partition is a insurance to get a paperweight. Maybe you should read and do some research instead of trolling the forum.

AAHK does flash radio's but most of the time when you flash radios via a toolkit it will go perfectly, but there will be a time where it will go wrong and you will end up with no clockwork mod recovery or a bad radio flash. When you go on the AAHK you can return to stockrom which flashes radios or whatever but when you have a bad radio on your phone you cant access USB debugging mode because you need that on so you can access the AAHK. Flashing a new and updated radio will work because if your phone was bricked it will not let you into HBOOT/FASTBOOT.

Obviously too many technical errors in the OP. This thread only misleads users with no or little knowledge. Next time you better research a bit more before posting anything. Additionally there are dozens of CORRECT tuts all over xda to solve that kind of problems.

[Q] HTC One x Bricked

Hello guys,
Yesterday I bricked my One x, I followed this section down here.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's begin.
Download my toolkit from here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=24972527
Extract the FOLDER to your C: drive or to your desktop.
MAKE SURE YOUR DIRECTORY DOES NOT HAVE A PERIOD OR SPACE.
Open One X.exe
So now you have my program open. Great.
On your phone, go to Settings -> Developer Options and Enable USB Debugging.
From my toolkit, Click 1. Install HTC Drivers.
After the drivers install, restart your computer.
After your computer loads up, open my toolkit and connect your phone to the computer. Your phone should now be recognized.
Now, click 2. Register at HTCDev. Register with a VALID email address and LEAVE the web browser open.
Now, under the commands section of my toolkit, press Boot into Bootloader.
You should have a nice, white, shiny screen that says FASTBOOT USB.
Click 3. Get Token ID. Look at the pop up and it will tell you how to get the Token ID.
Highlight where it says < < < < Identifier Token Start > > > > all the way to < < < < < Identifier Token End > > > > > and right click and it will automatically copy it.
Now, click Submit Token ID. Your web browser should now open a new tab. Scroll down and in the empty box, paste your Token ID. Press submit. HTCDev now emailed you your unlock token.
Your phone should still be in the bootloader. Now, go to the email address you registered to HTCDev and DOWNLOAD your unlock_code.bin. Press 5. Unlock Bootloader. Locate your unlock_code.bin and it will flash it to your phone.
READ the warning. THIS WILL WIPE ALL YOUR DATA FROM THE PHONE.
When you agree to it, press the volume up button and press the power button to accept it. Your phone will now restart.
When your phone loads up, go through the set up wizard. Then, on your phone, go to Settings -> Developer Options and Enable USB Debugging.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So far so good!
After that I try the permroot \/ only it wouldn’t work.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Under the Extras section, press Perm Root. It will push SuperSU.zip to your phone.
Under commands, press Boot into Bootloader once again.
Now, it is time to flash a recovery.
TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) is a custom recovery that will allow you to flash custom ROMs, Mods, etc.
CWM (ClockWorkMod) is a custom recovery that will allow you to flash custom ROMs, Mods, etc.
I recommend TWRP and we will use it for this tutorial,
Select TWRP and press Flash Recovery.
After it flashes, remove the USB cable and have HBOOT selected in bootloader. Press the power button and it will reload to another screen. Press the Volume Down button until you get to Recovery. Press the power button to select it.
Go to Backup and back up your boot and system partition. Always have a back up before you flash or do anything.
After that, go to Install and locate SuperSU.zip. Click it and slide the screen on the bottom to flash it. After it flashes, reboot the phone.
In your app drawer (your menu with all the apps), open SuperSU. If it says the binary needs to be updated, then update it. If it doesn't, then you are fully rooted!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I Googled to antoher solution and found a UNROOT tool, stupid is I was, I tried id.
Now my phone only startup in the bootloader so this is maybe a good thing?
Is there anyone how has an idea to solve this problem? I hope someone can help me out .
Phone info:
***UNLOCKED***
Endeavoru PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.39.000
Radio-5.1204.162A.29
Well if you can access the bootloader, then go into fastboot and run
fastboot earse cache
then flash the recovery (CWM Touch) again, make sure it's the latest version for your phone, so
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
now reboot into recovery and do a factory reset/wipe data and dalvik and reboot...
if it boots up you are good to go, if not than try to restore your nandroid from recovery.
Now find and download the latest SuperSU.zip and move it is your sdcard.
Now once more go into your recovery and click on install zip and find supersu.zip, install and reboot
You can't brick hox that easy, relax and try to reflash recovery, boot.img and reset cache. If problem not solved you need to wipe data or even reflash rom one more time

Same Problem, please HELP !!!
Good day Friends of the Forum
I have a problem and do not know how to fix it , I have navigate a lot in the network and I could not get my phone to work . I have HTC One X from AT&T. By playing around with the phone, accidentaly I delete the O.S. so right now my phone is locked . I can't load Origanal or Custom ROMS . The only thing I can do is enter the bootloader and install recovery ( TWRP ) I installed several versions of TWRP to install a custom rom or I locked the bootloader to install the original RUU and everything has been WITHOUT SUCCESS .
Right now I have S -ON , my HBOOT is 2.14 and I can install TWRP Recovery 2.6.0.0 or 2.6.3.0 .
I have read in many places that I have to make an S -OFF to install a Custom ROM , but all I get Tips that I need an OS runing to finish the installation (or modified to do the S -OFF) . What can I do if my S.O. is actuall blocked (brick). Only screen I got when I turned on or reboot my is the white screen " HTC quietly brillant" .
My friends , I request help from the wise in this range. Since I ran out of ideas. I attached pictures with my phone information

Softbrick'd. No idea what to do.

I've got quite a problem.
A few weeks ago, I unlocked the bootloader on my phone and flashed SuperSu to root it.
Today I decided to lock it back for personal reasons, wiping everything.
After it wiped, the phone kinda softbricked. When it turns on the OnePlus logo flashes for a second and turns off.
Won't let me unlock bootloader again, got stock recovery. Tried to use sideload, but ADB can't read the file. My guess it's too large.
What can I do?
I had same problem. Follow the steps. Unlock it again and reboot to the system.
There enable developer option, enable debugging, enable unlock bootloader option.
Rebooted to fastboot mode
Install stock recovery
Adb sideload 3.2 full firmware.
After that reboot your phone to fastboot mode.
Unlock bootloader.
This should do it.

It's like you didn't even read what I wrote...
I said it doesn't boot to system, OnePlus logo appears for a split second and phone turns off.
Bootloader is locked and I cannot flash anything.
ADB Sideload won't read files. Gives the 'cannot read' error.
You know that you can load to bootloader by pressing volume up and power button right?

You should be fine so long as you didn't deactivate the"OEM UNLOCK " option from the developer setting....
do the following
1. press and hold the volume up an power buttons simultaneously to enter the boot loader menu.
2.select start option from the bootloader menu sorry that menu is the boot loader.
3. now connect to pc and use the "fastboot devices" command to see if your pc recognizes you op3 as an android device.
4.type "fastboot oem unlock"
5. flash the custom recovery thru fastboot
5. enter custom recovery and flash your desired rom.
hope this works for you!

And if by mistake I have deactivate the "OEM UNLOCK " what can I do?
I relocked the bootloader. Which wiped to factory reset.
That wipe deactivated the ability to unlock bootloader until reactivated from the system, which I cannot get to because the phone turns off/bootlops before loading it.
This happened quite a few times on this forum, there is really no reason to relock the bootloader on the op3, it is covered through warranty, but u will have to contact oneplus and they should walk u through and send u files to unbrick it if u r lucky

then you better get in touch with the op customer service. they will, from what i know, fix it thru a remote connection sitting.
I have no solution for you, but I wonder if you went back to stock recovery first before you relocked the bootloader? I think if you have TWRP and try to relock the bootloader, this happens. NOT that its helpful to you, but if this is the case and you can verify it, might help others avoid making the same mistake.
As far as your problem is concerned, I would look for unbricking guides. I know I saw at least one guide that lets you recreate the entire partition table manually and make it just like new for the OP2 (and has the company's blessings to do so). So it should apply here as well. Sorry, do not remember where I saw this, but must have been either on xda or the oneplus forums.

I have stock recovery. I did boot TWRP first and let it change system by mistake, but reflashed stock later. That's what might have caused the bootloop once I relocked.
So I guess if you decide to relock in the future, don't flash TWRP, cause it bootloops, even if stock is reflashed.
Bro don't worry now.
I am gonna guide you out of this.
First install an adb package like this.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48915118#post48915118
Now get a toolkit like this.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/toolkit-oneplus-3-toolkit-unlock-t3398799
Try to connect to fastboot and check for your device in the toolkit.
If failed then kill process adb in your task manager.
Now once connected.
Check OEM status and bootloader status.
Unlock if required.
Now.
Push twrp to your phone .
Then boot into it through the toolkit.
Now load a full ROM.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/rom-op3lite-debloated-tweaked-fast-t3404996
Just copy paste it using your file manager on PC.
Them flash first make it boot and then root.
Hope this helped.

Don't test it. I've already done it by mistake.
It replaced recovery with TWRP by allowing the modification of system and even after reflashing stock it'll bootloop on relocking recovery.
So I found something useful then.
Hey, i think i found a solution for you. I don't know if i can post here xda thread links, so search "EDL Mode xda" on Google and the first link it is. Hope i helped
