[Q] HOX Charging issue - HTC One X

So one day my phone wouldn't wake from the lock screen so i restarted it and battery went down to 4% from 47%. I plugged it in to the charger and nothing. I tried different chargers and still nothing - no lights, nothing this went on for almost a week. I left it on the charger for couple hours on September 1st and then the red charging light came on and i turned on the phone and voila! it worked. I decided i wouldn't let my battery go so low again. The next day i was using my phone and it shut off at 20%. i went to charge it and nothing! this began to piss me off. I left it on the charger and a few minutes later it began to charge. Today September 3rd, i was using my phone and the battery was on 37%, jumped to 27%, jumped to 17% then 0% and then shut off. I plugged it up and nothing! This phone is irritating me. Sometimes it charges normally and other times it takes forever to start to charge. i don't know what the problem is. can someone help me please? @timmaaa any help?

Galaxy nexus charging problem?

I have a sprint galaxy nexus. I went to camp for a week after turning it off on a half charge. When I came back I tried to turn it on but it immediately shut back off. I plugged it in for a couple hours and it did kind of charge, but the charge icon came on then it displayed the charging animation/battery percent for a second or so at most then rebooted into the icon, then charge animation. It keep cycling and does NOT hold a charge. When I turn it on after a little bit of charging, it says 50 or so percent battery but EVEN IF I KEEP IT PLUGGED IN it still goes down very rapidly. A charge like that goes back to 0 and shuts off within 5 minutes. I'm wondering if I actually killed the battery, or if it can be saved, or if it isn't even a battery issue but a software issue or something. Any help is greatly appreciated.:fingers-crossed:

Moto360 won't charge or boot, charger indicator on for only 10s

Hello guys, I put my watch on the charger last night before sleep, but found the watch not charged at all and automatically turned off when I woke up this morning. So I put it on my charger again, and a battery icon showed up on the screen with the white LED indicator on the charger on for about only 10s. Then everything went off. Tried holding the power button for 30s but nothing happened. I am frustrated and feel like the watch is totally dead, giving no response at all. Do you guys have any suggestion on this?
---Update---
The Moto360 finally turned on after I left it on the charger for an entire morning. Seems like it took some hours to charge for the initial 10% battery to boot the watch, and it starts to charge like normal afterwards. Still, it is unsettling that it may take hours to bring the battery back to life every time the watch is out of battery...

CM11 battery issues

running the 2/16 release of CM11, battery meter is acting funky, but battery life seems normal. I have no idea if it started with CM11 install or just out of the blue. couple week ago after 13 hours of running on battery I noticed the meter still said 100%, then about an hour later it said 52%, and 30 seconds later 12%, battery low warning, and 15 seconds later it did a clean power off. plugged in, powered off charging said 9%, and was 52% again in about 30 seconds.
battery still lasts all day, but I have no idea how drained it is until about an hour before it's dead. it also won't actually charge unless the meter says it's below 100%, but plugged in it also doesn't drain it more. using an app to monitor the battery, it rarely shows above 3850mv, and will hover there all day long going up and down 300mV or so, but then late in the day it'll break from 100% around 3700mv and the % starts dropping.
so, what's going on here?
so, left on charger overnight (as I do every night), status app said USB power on but discharging. came to work, plugged it in (as I sometimes do), battery said 100%, again USB power and discharging.
unplugged to go to lunch, 54%. sat down to eat, 65%. few minutes later, 70%. from there it started dropping at a normal rate. used it heavily all through lunch, only went to 58%, and seems to be charging normally now as well. I'm so confused... it's been wrong for at least 2 weeks strait through multiple charges and reboots.
What about 'calibrating' the battery?
if it does it again I'll to find time to drain it and then fully charge it powered off, but with an inaccurate reading of what the charge is it was very difficult to fit that into my schedule.
it seems to have calibrated itself now, as it's been fine all weekend.
so the questions is now: what caused it, and why did it fix itself some weeks later? I certainly didn't do anything anywhere near a calibration cycle.

Battery weirdness since last system update.

So my phone battery has been acting crazy since the last update. First it dropped to 0% instantly from a 30 or 40% a weeks ago and just now it went from 20% to 0 in a second. The battery doesn't seem to be bulging. So before I buy a new one, has anyone else had weird issues? Just now I was charging it and decided to take out the battery. It jumped from 14% to 55% charge instantly from reinserting the battery.

It's a bad battery. There have been many people coming on here describing your same symptoms, but it doesn't matter what update they're on. In the end, it always turned out to be a bad battery.
So it's not an update issue.

I have had same issues and I noticed it's beacuse I was charging my phone via portable power bank.
When this happens I just drain battery dead, recharge phone to 100% while its turned OFF.
Unplug the cable, turn it on, if it doesn't show 100%, I just plug the charger again to refill it to 100%.
After that for several chargers no problem, it goes slowly to 1% and then dies on 0%

Erratic charging

Two days ago I put my 5t on to charge (latest stock, rooted with late Magisk). It reached 97% then stopped. Tried disconnecting cable , rebooting, tried with my usual Samsung charger (I avoid fast charging where possible), then with OnePlus block, but no change. Finally, I switched the phone off, and it charged. Then this morning my phone was down to 15% so plugged in my the bedside (generic charger and lead). Charging started. I fell asleep at around 40%. When I woke it had stopped at 66%. Power off, charging started so I powered on with lead attached and it continued to charge, but stopped after a few minutes.
This morning the battery had gone down to 35%. Plugged it is, and it started charging. Got to 70% and stopped. Used the phone disconnected for a while, then into desk charger - no charging! Very odd.
Update: the phone now charges only for a few minutes when it is switched on (both normal and Dash speeds work). If I turn the phone off, it charges normally. OnePlus have suggested a factory reset, but I'm reluctant to do that until I'm sure I can restore everything quickly and without too much risk. A colleague has suggested allowing the battery to die completely, then charging, as It solved a similar problem on an earlier OnePlus.
Last night I set up Google Drive so I can be prepared for a factory reset. I left the WiFi on overnight and this morning Drive showed it had done a backup. I plugged the charger in, and it started charging... and continued to charge. AT 70% (was 30%) I switced off Wifi. Maybe just coincidence, but charging stopped at that exact moment. Can't get it charging again, Wifi or not!
Further update: I got it charging again after leaving it overnight. Once again, it stopped at 70%. So this time I let it run completely flat and used the Dash charger and it got to 100%. Great. Then this evening, when it had dropped to 35% I charged again. Kept charging, then stopped at 70%!!!
