My girlfriends phone lasted for 2 days ang 6 hours on stock rom without any tweaks like SuperCharger. Phone activity is texting, games, browsing using data network and music. So it shows that SGY can go for 48hours. My bad i just forgot to have a SS on it to show it to you.
I downclocked the cpu to 528 and min to 312. using setcpu

yea downclock possible but only on stock roms. why? not compatible with scripts and he says he downclocked it to 500 something mhz. but since doesnt have a kernel customed, it was only down to 312. tried it a thousand times. i got a CPU checker. overclock it to 1000mhz still have 832. so downclocking would still fall to default 312mhz. so till now u can do so as the author said but better for stock only. it will crash most of your apps on custom rom (so far i tried it on stock and creeds)

Yes it is possible... Use SetCPU to do that... Unfortunatly it needs Root Access... Gud Luck...
Mine only last for 20 hours at least, but after installing HYBRID rom the duration had increased substantially.
Guys, how long does your fully charged battery last on continuous internet 2g / 3g access?
in my phone, it lasted for about half a day only. how about the others.

Can you tell me how to dl the infected rom cant seem to find the correct link or the links are already broken.

Why can't I see pictures in xda premium app!?!

For a while now, ever since I left stock rom, i cant see any pictures people upload on here:/ lol like the screen shots devs post and stuff like that. Once in a while they load up but it's vary rare. Anybody else having this problem!? I'm desperate, i want to see pictures!!! Lol

Well as far as I know it uses the graphics engine rather than CPU (which is suppose to be) and the phone behave faster
and smoother

It's sort of a hold over option from GB, from what I understand. It was there to help performance for older apps, written before GPU acceleration was supported or something along those lines.

[Q] Best Battery Life

What's the best CPU configuration for the best battery life. I'm currently using 384-1512mhz with smartassv2 and I wonder if that's the best calibration. Thanks in advanced. I've been losing quite a bit of battery lately and I need some recommendations.

Hello, I had Cyanogenmod 10 in my Galaxy Gio, and I used the CPU Mhz Clock modification option, and now my phone starts, I put my PIN number, enter and it reboots to a black screen. What can I do??
Sorry to say this but ull have to take it to service centre because the cpu is fried. BTW DO NOT OVERCLOCK MORE THAN 921Mhz because fries up cpu. Sorry for caps lock

That's weird. I'm running on 960 stable. Have run stability test both scaling, cpu+gpu and just max in like 3 hours. No errors here!

Battery life inconsistent

I've been up for half an hour and my battery is at 100%. Normally it would be at about 95%. Anyone know the reason the Z5P battery life differs so much?
Thanks

Thanks for the informative reply but why is it that the battery drains so much faster on some days than others?

Yes, pretty much. I think it might just be the adaptive brightness but I can't believe the phone loses so much less battery in the dark.
