Re-Painting the Slim Armor case? - Nexus 5 Accessories

Hello, i have been using the gold version of slim armor case for a while now, and the gold color has wore off at corners and sides. And i am tired of the gold color. So i was wondering if there is any way to paint it? Has anyone attempted to do that? Any suggestions how should i do that? I was thinking of using the spray can paint, what do you think?

I don't know if they never did it before but i've done it twice with in the last 6 months. My gold slim armor outer shell was super scratched up so i emailed them and asked for a replacement. The second time it was because i broke it .

You can try plasti dip to paint the case. I've seen it done with phones and other plastic parts. Mask off the contact areas and spray. Plasti dip comes in many colours and might require multiple coats.

Gelaskins does make great skins. I bought numerous skins from them and have had no complaints of their work.
I LOVE this bumper too, and also thinking of doing something different with the battery cover/door, but I might just get a white colored door and call a day
Where did you get this from? Which eBay seller?
Do you have a link to this bumper case?

Heard problems with this bumper though. The front side falls apart

Actually, it's around the USB port area that the black TPU section can tear itself away from the white plastic. But I've been able to fix it by using a small dab of superglue. The result can be quite stiff and reassuring. At only 3 bucks a piece, it's still an excellent case. I have 4 of these.
BTW, I bought mine from focalprice.com
I have had mine on my phone going on 3 weeks and have had no issues. I could see there being issues with the black coming off if you take your phone out of the case alot. so far i have yet to take it out since i put the case on, I have did battery pulls but the case does not need to come off to do so.

where to get design like yours? Or you made it yourself completely? Would you upload it here?
Thank you

Plain white rubber case

Hi Guys,
I've been searching everywhere trying to find an all white rubber case that is simple but durable. I want the case to protect the volume rocker and power buttons as well. I'm really looking for something found in this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AB-4hGF-q0Q&list=UUD6CwTxfGfK13-MxsEfUrng&index=10&feature=plcp
I've ordered a couple cheap imitations on amazon, but all of them have been clear and take apart my screen protector I have on the front.
Anyone have some suggestions for cases matching what I'm looking for? Thanks in advance!
This may be what you're looking for, it covers buttons. http://www.zbsell.com/samsung/galaxys3/tpu/tpu-case-for-galaxy-s-iii-white.html
If covering buttons is something you are willing to compromise on, I've heard good things about the mercury cases. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008DJIJL2/ref=redir_mdp_mobile
Hope this helped.

I'll try the first tpu case. I hope that it doesn't take off my screen protector like the last couple have.
Have fun with the inevitable yellow/tan spots that will take over your case. Impossible to clean. I've tried everything.
White TPU is my favorite, but looks like **** after a week or two. You've been warned.

I found this case at Amazon for less than $10. It's white rubber/TPU on the sides, and the back is clear (slightly frosted) polycarbonate.

MKBHD Carbon skin

https://dbrand.com/mkbhd/oneplus-x
if someone used this?
can you recommend this product?
Great product. Very nice. I used before.
But do note that its a skin. Not a protection case. If you drop, there's no protection

Why do you want to put skin on such a beautiful device? Just get a transparent case.

My original transparent case it's worn.
I'm looking for sth new.
Thank for info Tiongkia!
In my opinion they're really nice. I applied the red one to test how difficult the process is (it isn't difficult)
Here are the results.

Looks great, imho.
Thanks for photos.
No problem, it does look really nice. However it isn't as grippy as you'd think so use with caution.

How it is glued on back surface? It's has adhesive? Or just applied by suction?

It's adhesive. But in the application process it's very easy to reapply - The 3m paper doesn't stick to the adhesive.
When peeling off it leaves absolutely no residue as stated.

New Razer phone owner - Thick case for phone?

I usually like the otterbox / thick cases for my devices. You know the ones that have an inner layer that covers the screen, and a thick outer layer that attaches to that. Which gives extra space between the screen and the ground should it fall. I just got this phone, and for the life of me I cannot find any thick style case for it. I am not a fan of the cases that just attaches to the back. Can anyone point me in the right direction for the thicker 2 piece cases for the phone?
I put a sample image of the type of case I'm looking for for this phone if anyone knows where I can find it?

Not much out there for the Razer Phone 1. The closest you'll find is the Trudia.
That's what I ended up with.
They didn't have the color I wanted, so I wrapped mine in vinyl.

Unfortunately we will be waiting a little while for 3rd party cases.
Purely because the Razer is not a big seller like iPoo & Samdung.
We need to be patient.
Received mine today

Question Stop Your Slippy!!

I am no longer slippy!!!!!!!!!!
Bought a skin from Xtreme skins UK. Went with a clear matt lower, left the camera visor, brushed titanium top and brushed titanium "G" symbol.
Quite easy to fit, I did scratch the back, but they sent 2.
Only cost me £6 with a discount, delivered!!!
Minimal protection, but no slip and a bit more bling!
Tell 'm I sent you (and they'll charge you the normal price )
Defo recommend.
pics?
Yeah, a skin will help grip tremendously. The thing feels is as slippery as grease. I went the Dbrand route but I've used Xtremeskins before and they are good as well. I ordered a few combinations and ended up with this for now.

The Dbrand skins (and Xtremeskins skins) are thick enough which makes the final results better because you won't get bubbles underneath the skin. I just lined it up and used a heat gun on low (blow dryer is fine too) to get the corners warm and they stuck down perfectly.
