It will work. It is the same file that is found in the offcial miui forums.. just one thing, it WILL NOT work with the Mi recovery, it will work with other recoveries (TWRP,CWM) because he changed the signature, so signature verification will fail. If you're on stock recovery, go to this link and download both the original files from here... http://en.miui.com/thread-21881-1-1.html

Nice One
Very much agree on you bro :good:

Awesome.
Thanks a lot.

whether this method will work on the latest miui 7.1 stable which is going to release tomorrow??
or tell on which version it will work??

for different miui version different file required

Not working, bootloop. To fix bootloop, need to flash original boot.img - need to put original boot.img from ROM we have in adb folder and run command "fastboot flash boot boot.img".
Before posting such tutorials I suggest to check is it even working, because on chinese version of device this will NOT WORK.

Yeah yeah, OP added it after my post. And it's not true - should work also on EU version.
That's why amateurs shouldn't make such threads.

When signing up for this website you sign a waiver that you are the sole person responsible for your device. Bootloops too.
Don't wanna have it bricked ? Don't mess with it.
Nobody's telling you to do that.
How about some gratitude and appreciation for those who take the time and trouble looking for a solution. Sponging off others work and whingening about it ?
Show some manners.

What time, what solution?! Method posted by OP for this device is known for weeks already... And its just copied solution from other tutorials for older Xiaomi phones... I can bet that OP even didn't check it and I won't be surprised if he even don't have this phone... Besides, I still don't have solid proof that it works, even on global/EU version of device.
in the end this tutorial is working or not on global?

Easiest Way to Install MiUI 11 (Clean) on Redmi Note 5 India/ Redmi 5 Plus (Vince).

I installed a Pixel Experience (Android 10) on my unlocked Redmi Note 5 India / Redmi 5 Plus (Vince) (Here on I'll refer to the device on Vince). Volte and data didn't work, and the call quality was pretty bad, so I decided to go back to the official MIUI and the Mi recovery.
This guide basically explains the easiest way to go back MIUI. Assuming your phone is unlocked. I'm adding direct download links to MIUI and other Mi tools because they are blocked in India.
Download Links:
Link 1: Normal Update ROM (Zip File)[bigota<dot>d<dot>miui<dot>com/V11.0.2.0.OEGMIXM/miui_HM5PlusGlobal_V11.0.2.0.OEGMIXM_f74369de0c_8.1.zip]

Link 6: Mi PC Suite(exe file)[bigota<dot>d<dot>miui<dot>com/MiFlash/MiSetup2.2.0.7032_2717.exe]
Link 7: This is not a direct link download twrp from one of the servers a direct link TWRP for Vince(img file) [twrp<dot>me/xiaomi/xiaomiredmi5plus<dot>html]
Link 8: This is not a direct link download Unlock tool from the page MIUI Unlock Tool(zip file) [en<dot>miui<dot>com/unlock/download_en<dot>html]
Link 9: This is not a direct link download Orangefox recovery tool from the page Orangefox Recovery(zip file)[orangefox<dot>download/en/device/vince]
Steps:
1. Download MIUI Unlock tool(Link 8) and extract it. Open cmd prompt inside the folder.
2. Switch your phone to fastboot mode (power + volume down). Connect it to your PC.
3. The device should show up when you enter "fastboot devices" in cmd.
4. Download TWRP (Link 7). extract it, rename it to "twrp.img" copy the image and copy it to the MIUI unlock tool. Now run "fastboot boot twrp.img". This should automatically take you to TWRP.
5. Now wipe everything. If you are not able to mount "data". Go to "Wipe", "Advanced", "Repair" then change the format of the data to exFat, then to FAT then to Ext4. This should mount data.
6. You should see your phone on your PC, if not mount USB in TWRP. Download orangefox recovery from Link 9. Copy it and flash it from twrp. Your phone will restart. Go to recovery mode and you should see orangefox.
7. Download fastboot ROM from Link 2. Unzip it copy "persist.img" from the folder to your phone, flash it using orangefox.
8. Download MiFlash tool from Link 5. Extract it and run it. Select the folder where you extracted fastboot ROM. MAKE SURE THAT THE PATH DOESN'T HAVE ANY SPACES OR FLASHING WILL FAIL. Now hit refresh on flash tool. It will show your device, at the bottom there is a selection where you can select the script to be executed. I generally select flash_all.bat, you can select flash_all_lock.bat for a locked OS.
It might show you "error:Not catch checkpoint (\$fastboot -s .*lock),flash is not done", but your phone will boot properly, it will show a success message only if you choose lock option bat. But this error shouldn't affect the installation.
9. Restart your phone, everything should work properly.
Good luck!
Thank you.
What to do with the link 1 file the ROM file ? Can I directly flash it in twrp ??
thanks bro
That answered all my questions, and i don't know why but all the other mi flash tool found on the web didnt work but this one is just perfect. Thank you so much bro !!! you really simplified my life

Question [CLOSED]Can't install MIUI

I cant install the official MIUI rom, I've tried sideloading and installing it via TWRP
I've tried updating the firmware (successfully)
I've tried installing a custom MIUI ROM then trying MIUI
I've tried both global and Europe versions
Miflash has issues and wont flash (says missing files and .bats)
(cant find flash scripts) (can not find file flash_all.bat)
It says "Updater process ended with ERROR: 1"
And also Devices on super may not mount until rebooting recovery.
To flash additional zips, please reboot recovery to switch to the updated slot.
Help me please i'm trying to sell my phone and i cant without MIUI

Please check because even if you choose fastboot file, the recovery file is shown at first and the fastboot file is below.
Dont use miflash. Download the fastboot file, extract its contents in a folder (preferably C:/rom). Then connect your phone in fastboot mode and run the flash all.bat file
