[Q] Anyone Recently Buy Tab Pro 8.4 at Best Buy? What was the Price? - Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1, 8.4 Q&A, Help & Trouble

Was wondering if anyone bought a 8.4" Tab Pro from BB brick/mortar store recently, and if so, what was the price?
I know they were down to $249 at one point (price adjusted down at register), but they are still over $300 on the website.
Everytime I go to a store to inquire on price, they always go to the website and quote me the $300+ price
I really don't want to have to BUY one just to see what the correct price is.
As a side, I had both the Pro and S 8.4 for a few days. The Pro seemed more natural colors at first, but the S in Neutral setting really got me liking it. I also thought that the S was easier to hold (thinner and lighter). In the end, I sold/returned both of them figuring the Pro would price drop or I would get an open box S (BB seems to have a LOT of these online, but still kind of pricey for me)
Ultimately, I am CHEAP, and if I could get the Pro back for a good price, I will grab it.

Hello,
As Moscow Desire said: "NO QUESTIONS in this forum", please.

Got mine yesterday for $279 plus tax from a brick and mortar best buy store.

Amazon dropped the price to $280 earlier this week. I think this is the new normal price.

Two days ago I picked up the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 at Best Buy for $250. I think they are trying to get rid of them to make room for the Tab S and newer models. I couldn't say no at that price, as I needed something to replace my rooted 2nd gen Nook Tablet (with bugs and no BT). They listed it for $250 on the website last I checked.
If you see a price or sale for BB online, do yourself a favor and preload the page on your phone (or print out the page) to bring with you... also for other BB online sale items. The last 3 times I went to BB, I had to show them that there was a different price listed on their website. For example, while checking the Tab Pro sale price at BB online, it showed a 32Gig Samsung micro SD for $17.99. I went into the store to get that micro SD and the price said $24.99. Just show the page from the BB website on your phone to a clerk and they should change it right then when you purchase it.

I picked one up yesterday at Best Buy for $249. The floor model had a $279 sale price but I got the sales rep to look at the weekly ad where it is listed for $249 until October 4.

[Q] Best way to get Galaxy Nexus?

This may have been asked before recently, but the only posts I saw were old when prices were way higher.
I had the iPhone 4, and I traded it for the Skyrocket. I've been trying to trade the Skyrocket for a 4S, so that I can sell it and buy the Nexus, but where should I buy it? Wheres the cheapest place?
Have a Skyrocket on AT&T, need a place to buy GNex for cheap, or some plan to get it cheaper.
Cheapest I've seen is $600.
Negri Electronics has Canadian versions for $595 (free shipping), and there are some coupons floating around that should work with it. I got it from them with a $30 off coupon on Thursday, but they've killed that.
AFAIK if you want a brand new one, that's the cheapest you're gonna get right now. There are some open box and used units for around the same price or a little cheaper if you search hard. Right now $595 or a little less is a steal for this device.

[Q] Best Buy Showing Note 4 Verizon version as $349 today.

I've been looking at the pre-order page on BB to see if the Verizon version was available to pre-order online. Last night the price showed as $299 on contract and not yet available. Today it shows $349 on contract and not yet available. Did they up the price or is this just an error?
Wont let me post a link to it...
crap that isnt good. i was hoping $699 for off contract. crap time to sell more stuff!
still $699 at verizon! yay
Hopefully that is not the price in store as well.
Its still cheaper than verizon considering that they will accept my htc rezound as a trade in phone while verizonwireless will not.
Just hope I get some one who knows how to transfer an upgrade from one phone number to another.
When I pre ordered in store it was 299 better be that when I go to pick it up or there getting a ear full

fyi from what they told me, pre-ordering the phone doesn't mean locking in the price. if the price changed you're responsible for the new price. that's what they told me in store anyway

According to the website, the ATT and Verizon Note 4 variants are listed as $299, the Sprint Note 4 variants are listed as $349. I think its safe to say that our Note 4s are still the same price.
I'll wait until it is cheaper off contract than $700. Can't afford **** that expensive

The Verizon price has been changed back to $299 as it was originally. Part of this past week it was at $349 on the BB website.

What worst is that no more pre order for Verizon note 4 from BestBuy. I went to BB today and their system can't do pre order for Verizon N4 and so is the website, however, you still can preorder note4 with AT&T...
Maybe it's an error in their system?
Up to this day you have not been able to preorder via best buys website.
I preordered my Verizon note 4 (white) last Friday and my wife preordered her Verizon note 4 (also white) yesterday (Monday) without any issues. The phone is $299, $100 after trading in ANY working smart phone that isn't damaged (cracked screen, turns on, no water damage). There is NO minimum trade in value required unlike the Samsung promotion ($10 minimum value). They make you buy a $50 gift card as a "place holder" for the phone, you have 48 hours to pick up the phone after it arrives otherwise they will sell it to someone else. All gift cards purchased (the $50 place holder) and the $200 one you receive for trading in a phone, can all be used toward the purchase of the phone immediately.
I have spoke to the store manager, customer service, the Verizon and Samsung reps at the store. The customer service rep did say you need to bring in the charger for it, the others did not say that. I'm going to bring mine in either way. I also took their names down in case they try to pull a fast one. I suggest anyone else does the same so there are no surprises when the phone arrives.
Good luck
I'll put chargers in my car, but I'm not bringing them in unless they make noise about it. My store just said charged working phones without water or cracked screen damage.

Nexus 7 (2013) availability in UK

My old first gen Nexus 7 has the dodgyist usb socket ever. So I'd like to replace it with a Nexus 7 (2013 model) because it has QI charging. Has anyone had any luck lately buying a new UK or EU model Nexus 7 32gb in the UK? Or does anyone know of any legit online shops selling them? And yes I know this is a long shot & yes I have used google.
BT shop. Looks like it's the last one.

In the last 3 months I've bought 3 from Cash Converters and 1 from Computer Exchange.
All of them have been around £100 and in practically mint condition. All four are going strong with no issues. If you want that piece of mind, buy from Computer Exchange as they give you a 1 year warranty.
I cant see any reason in buying this tablet for £238 new on the BT website. If it was 2013, £238 wouldn't be a bad deal. 2015 on the other hand, hell no.
I got mine from Asda in the black friday sales, they still have them in the two big Asda stores near me. The sale price was £140 but they usually sell them for £200

Sadly it was only the 16gb model they had.
Pretty sure argos still have them, that's where I got mine from last year, I don't really recommend buying from there if your the kind of person who breaks stuff a lot tho, since you can't take it back unless it's faulty

[Q] Think the price will decrease right after the s2 is released?

Looks like the second gen will officially be smaller with a different aspect ratio.

I've been needing to get a tablet and want the current gen tab s but don't want to see that I could have been 100$ richer by waiting a week. Alternatively I haven't talked to anyone who is happy with Samsungs continued Apple emulations.... Does the collective wisdom here think we'll see an instant price drop for the current gen or do you think merchants will try to wait out the change?

I think it most definitely will. The tablet has already been featured in some sales that put the price at around $270 I think. That's a steal considering how good the tablet is
Two weeks ago I paid $270 for my S 8.4. I'm sure it'll hit $230-250 by the end of the summer. August and September are back-to-school shopping months, so manufacturers like to release the newest computer/laptop and tablets then. Which means clearance of last year's model in the weeks/months before.
I'm waiting for the S2 to come out too..
I'm waiting to buy Tab S 8.4 LTE version when price is cut off.
I bought a Tab S 10.5 a month ago because of the change in aspect ratio. At that time there was a sale on for $70 off MSRP so I grabbed it. My suggestion would be to decide on a discount number and regularly check local prices for discounts. The sale was at Staples Canada and ended April 12th. You could use one of those computer best price checking web sites relevant for your country.

I too have been waiting, seeing the Tab S priced at $100 under "MSRP" all over the place (meaning it was $299 or even less), but hoping with my greedy heart that it would come down even further after the S2 was announced.
Image my surprise when a 2 days after the S2 announcement I couldn't find a single seller offering the Tab S for under $350, and most had jacked the price back up to retail.
Even now the "official" Samsung listing for the Tab S on Amazon is $379! WTF?
Anybody else find Amazons search a waste of space, as it gives you the wrong results, even when it gets it right, you cannot arrange from low to high like every other shopping site.
Is this just me.
John.

General Get OnePlus 11 for cheap (UK tested)

A CN variant will cost at least 600£ online and you get the 12/256 variant.
In the UK, the global variant costs 800£ which to be fair it's way too much, so here's what to do to lower that price. I had an old smashed Samsung S8, for which I paid 20£ and OnePlus have me a trade value of 110£ , so that drops down the phone price to 689£. When you order in the UK, you also get a free Bang and Olufsen worth 200-230£ which you can easily sell on eBay for 150£. Even if you sell It for 100£ , that means you dropped the phone price 589£. So you got a global variant of OnePlus 11 cheaper, and you also get the upgraded version of 16/256.
Be quick, offer ends on 17th February
I went direct to oneplus website in the UK and I used the trade in feature also, I traded in my oneplus 7 Pro which works but has a smashed rear. I got £140 trade + as part of the launch I chose to take the free earbuds worth £180, which I actually want to keep and use as they have reviewed very very well. Overall I Paid £660 for the 16/256 variant + buds. Bargain !

Cheaper than the CN version. And you get EU warranty, and no calling issues
I pre ordered mine with OP7Pro trade in for total 190EUR and considered selling the speaker but figured they are already going for around 125EUR and people are actually not killing themselves for it so the price will probably drop even more when all those speakers will pop up from pre orders.
I will use the BO speaker in my office for music playing instead
One thing I did not figured out before pre ordering is that you can add/connect your current device to Oneplus account and for this you get 5% coupon and 30EUR coupon and +500 red coins or whatever they are called so maybe you can use them for pre order.
