Any real wood back covers for the G3? - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

See title. Not interested in wraps!
Also, a semi-related question. Are the two 'unused' contacts just north of my battery (next to the NFC contacts) there to allow for a wireless charging cover?

Toastmade stated on their Twitter a few weeks ago they were going to do the G3. As for the back, yes it is for wireless charging. I received my charging chip thing a few days ago from China and it works great.

I should have my Toastmade review up next week, their wood covers are awesome!!! Check out my YouTube for some videos of them

It's for $39.99, but I found a coupon code that worked perfectly on it to save 15%
Code: GalaxyS
At the time of this post, this code worked for me.
Enjoy!
That is all well and good. But where is the one from the release site advertisement? The one with the built in speaker(s)? Seems that product page is missing for it now...wtf.

Anyone else have a problem?
I got my Samsung dock last night. Does anyone else have the problem that it does not stay connected to the phone?
The phone lay on it's left-side so that the mini-USB connector can make contact. But it does not stay connected!!!! You have to press it really hard to the left and when you remove the pressure, it looses connection!
NO- it's not my back/case. I have tried both the supplied backings of the phone and they are the same. I think the problem is the connector does not stick far enough out of the dock, so the connection is poor!
This is pretty useless. I'm gonna call Samsung right now and get a RMA for return - defective product! How can they try and get away with this?.....or is it just mine.
Nothing new here
This thread was already created like the guy said a few posts above me

Wireless Charging Battery Cover
Did anyone buy this? I just notice the item and its out of stock :\ If you did could you tell me how it looks and feels etc
Likely out of stock due to it not truly being in stock yet
Yeah, I've been checking almost daily to see when it will be released for a couple weeks now, and saw it the other day and it said sold out. So I doubt it was ever in stock.
Not too pleased with the picture of it though, looks like the bulge in the back is bigger than stock meaning that cases won't fit...
Seems like a lot of the accessories have not been shipped yet for the inc2. Hope this back isnt as thick as in the pictures.
Welcome to the world of being an incredible owner... Glad to see the inc 2 is following suit ha

There are three different backs. The Korean one (Model F**) only works with the Korean phones; it has the 4 connector pads on the charging coils all close together. The International one works with everything but the AT&T or Korean phones; it has the connector pads split into two pairs. The third one is the AT&T one, which uses PMA instead of Qi.

Resurrection: Gnex mainboard button cell battery

So my Gnex went black over a year ago, I tried all the guidance at the time with combinations of plugging and battery pulls. It just plain would not respond in any way to any stimuli. I got a new Nexus 5 and lived happily ever after until the discussion of Lollipop on Gnex resparked interest.
So, I gutted the Gnex, everything looks good, but that little tiny button cell battery on underside of mainboard screams guilty.
BUT the little bastard is SPOT WELDED in its holder 6 places. 3 on top, 3 on bottom. Really? Yeah.
I manage to carefully sheer the welds with a tiny flathead. It reads ML414H.should be 3VDC, It tested out at 2VDC. Enought to keep phone from booting? Charging?
Anyway, I'm over here in Norway, and lets say getting on of these tiny batteries would apparently requires some creative logistics. (They dont even have Radio Shack )
I need help tracking down one to see if its a legit fix.

This battery is simply a backup battery for the system clock. The problem is not with it.

Battery change, missing piece or not?

Hello, i ordered a new battery (this).
But when i got it i noticed something, the battery is missing the "black plastic thing" that connects between the camera and the flashlight.
As you can see on the image in the link, there is connections on both sides. But not in reality when i got the battery. See the attached image for a better explanation.

Do i just remove the plastic thing from the original battery to my new one or what? I cant find any battery on the internet with the plastic thing on it, except the one i bought. But in reality it was missing.
Then i have another question. I ordered a new adhesive tape but i have not got it from the company yet. Can i use some 3M doublesided waterproof tape instead that i cut by myself?
Thanks
Dude, the "black thing" is the NFC antenna. Just remove it from the old battery and stick it to the new one. Otherwise your NFC won`t work.
NFC Antenna
Hello.
