I got the Nyko Playpad not the pro version and the firetv does not seem to pair with it. Is there a trick around this?

Wireless Controller for Android + 4GB Card with Games

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...99&ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:US:1123#ht_4788wt_802
So I ordered one of these last week when I got fed up with being unable to find a datel retro for sale anywhere. The item looks decent quality but the information is less than clear but for $20 i figured it was worth a shot.
Has anyone had any experience using this item?
Also has anyone found any other good substitute for the datel other than the phonejoy or MSI BGP100?
I haven't used the item you ordered but I suggest using a PS3 controller and getting Sixaxis control from the market.
I thought that only the PS3 wired controllers work. I'm looking for a wireless solution. Last I had checked the PS3 wireless bluetooth controllers are not supported for android.
PS after looking that sixaxis program up i looks like that may do the trick for me. I'll have to go pick up a PS3 controller I suppose.

Accesories for Note as a Gaming Device

Is the SixAxis app compatible with the Note? The SixAxis Compatibility Checker force closes on mine. I don't actually have a SixAxis controller, but I'm planning to buy one if it works.
Also, which controller to buy? Will a Wireless PS2 Controller work? or just the PS3 Controller? How about an XBox Wireless Controller?
Another thing: how do you keep your notes "standing" in landscape? I saw several docks, but all of them are on portrait mode.
Thanks in advance guys~!
+1 for all question.
Sixaxis works great with my ps3 controller.
XBox360 Controller dont use bluetooth so they would not work.
Xbox Controller might work once ICS is out, using the OTG adapter.

Moga Pro Power Vs G910 Gamepad

I want to buy a BT gaming controller. I read good reviews about moga pro power. heard that G910 gamepad controller is better than moga. Anyone has bought it?

I use the Moga Hero, replacement to the original Moga Pocket... its a smaller version of the Moga Pro Power. It works great, very happy with mine. Bought it for $39 about a month ago. I have never heard of the G910. Remember though Moga has their pivot app to make games easily playable without mapping to the controller.
Here is what I use:

That controller looks good and should work with games with native gamepad support. The Moga has a lot more support though and works with some games that don't have native gamepad support.

[Q] Best 3rd party controller out-of-box

I have some games on my Fire TV I'd like to play, but need a game controller. I don't currently have any compatible controllers, so I thought I might as well buy the official one. However, it looks like both it and the Nyko pad are on back-order for around a month. Rather than wait, I'd like to get a decent third party controller, preferrably wireless. Can anyone say definitively which controller (other than the official one or Nyko) is the most functional out-of-box. FYI, my Fire TV is unrooted with current firmware, so anything requiring root is out.
Here are some of my current choices:
Microsoft Xbox 360 controller for Windows (included USB receiver)
Logitech F710, wireless USB receiver
Logitech F310, wired USB
The Xbox receiver supposedly supports up to 4 controllers. Would the Fire TV and any apps currently out support them? I'm partial to Logitech gear, but I read somewhere that on the Fire TV the F710 uses "xinput mode", emulating an Xbox controller. Does this mean it would work just as well as the Xbox or a close second? While I prefer wireless, I listed the F310 for the obvious benefit of not having to recharge or replace batteries. I don't play enough to where a cord would really bother me. If there are major caveats with the wireless ones, I might just get the F310.
Amazon controller would be best in my opinion for full compatibility. I have an ouya controller which works very well and waiting on the nyko play pad pro cause I picked it up cheap on amazon so I couldn't pass it up. If I prefer the nyko, I'll end up getting rid of the ouya one most likely or keep it to use with the other aftv.

Thanks for the input. I had assumed Amazon had best availability on the Fire Controller, but I found it on Best Buy's eBay Store. Supposedly will deliver by Jan 6-13. We'll see.

Moga pro power controller.

Recently visited the USA and pick up a Moga pro power controller from Target for 43 bucks.
From what I gather it's very similar to an xbox 360 controller, was wording if anyone has both to compare side by side, as I'm thinking about getting an xbox 360 controller carry case for it but I'm worried it may not fit?
Any kind of info or help would be great!
Thanks.
