guys i have not been able to move to a good phone since my canvas 4 has got stolen
i just want a similar device that gives me almost the same feel

you won't believe me i am even ready to buy c4 again

if you want a metal bodied phone like c4, then buy gionee s5.5, or wait for xiaomi mi 4
buy a moto g 2nd gen you wont regret it

if i were you then Moto G 2nd Gen would be my choice as it is engineered for efficiency as well as perfection having state of the art design and hardware properly optimised with respect to the software.
And its motorola dude not a chinese phone cheaply manufactured moreover you will get updates by google.
and it has a water resistant nanocoating for average rainfall. what more do u expect?

Its more like a successors mini version as G6 is also known as P7 mini. And there will be a real successor called P7 very soon.

Hi i just bought a note 2 used n it shows error WIB init failed at startup and then sometimes show signal but most of the times no signal. In status it says no service. But it shows my network name and edge in about device status. Also shows my network name in notification panel.
And it never connect to mobile data when it get signal.
I have tried changing different roms like dn4. Dr ketan rom and cm11 etc but no luck. I tried to test it with other working sim card and then it does not show WIB init failed error but still no signals. When i put my sim card in other mobiles, they also start showing WIB init failed.that point to sim issue. But other phones get signals. This note 2 dont get signals.
It is N7100DDUFND1 on dn4 currently.
Please help me fast because i got 2 days check warranty and 1 day is already passed.

Hey guys, 10 months ago i sold my note 2 and bought an iPhone 5c, then sold the iPhone n bought an LG g2, then sold the LG and bought a bq aquaris e5 fhd, mediatek 2.0ghz octacore full HD display, 2gb of ram, 13 mpix camera plus much more stuff. On saturday i'm going back to the note 2. Funny enough its my favourite device, i love the s pen and i still think it's the best Phone for me... What do you guys recon? On saturday as soon as i'm getting it i will root the note 2, and i'll flash DN4. What's the best for battery life? Dn3 por Dn4? All of you, have a good One. I do miss the note 2 alot!

lol yes wrong place. but for battery. you pick any device. any rom. but customize it for battery with only two devices and you get the best battery for you. and those apps are 1. greenify 2. amplify (xposed) :fingers-crossed:

Is there any android developement like custom roms possible on this phone ?? OR should I buy redmi note 4 which has a better support ??

That are two phones hard to compare.. snapdragon 820 vs 625, 5inch vs 5.5inch etc, fingerprint on front vs on the back etc... how should we know what you need or want?

And for custom roms > how about if you look into the roms, kernels, recovery.. section? Dont be so lazy man

Warning: Very long story
My purchase of 3Gb variant of Redmi Note 4 was final but could not buy it (everything happens for a good) as delivery was not available by flipkart in my area. I was very sad and finally decided to buy a new, seal packed Redmi Note 3 from ebay at Rs. 9300 (Rs. 10400 was listed price, after applying coupons it became Rs. 9300) as it had performance and recently got franco kernel too (previously available only on Pixels, Nexus and One Plus devices). Finally saw Lenovo Z2 Plus on Snapdeal for Rs. 12000 and immediately purchased it (was hesitant at first reading reviews on Amazon but could not resist SD 820 at this price).
The phone is great, no heating issues and was much better than Redmi Note 3 (Screen quality, camera quality, general performance, looks) when compared side by side as my friend had one. Battery is also good, I get 5-6 hours Screen on time on 4G network with hotspot on and around 7-8 hours SoT on WiFi.
About development, both devices have great roms but Redmi Note 4 has no custom kernel as kernel source codes are not released currently but may or will get them in future when sources are released. Also if you want to be like a trickster and change TV channels of any TV in lobby of any hospital/Hotel, go for Xiaomi phones as they have IR blaster.
The Z2 Plus recently got official Nougat whereas Redmi Note 3 and 4 are still on Marshmallow but that does not matter as you are planning to use a custom rom and all three have 7.1.2 Nougat custom roms.
Conclusion
If you like very good developer support with some good performance, go for Redmi Note 3
If you like development with superior battery life, go for Redmi Note 4
If you want a phone with sheer raw power and the one that does not slow down even after 3 years and a great value for money and brag among friends, go for Z2 Plus.
Currently Z2 Plus is available at Rs.13000 at Snapdeal but wait for amazon sale on 11th, previously at an Amazon sale, it was available for 12K and if you get any bank discount (sometimes 10 to 15% off on SBI Card etc during sale), you can get it for 10-11K too.
Go for the black one, it looks very good

I am absolutely agree with hp5942's statements. Development for Z2 is only growing, it will be awesome in a few months. Note 3 has one of the best dev support and will have it for a long time. Note 4 is better looking and feeling than Note 3, but it is less speedy device.

For long run always go with the phone with more performance.
My friend still has no performance issues with his Mi4 (SD 800, flagship at that time) even after 2.5 years.
if u cant get more money .. get it .. if u can get a bit more.. get oneplus 3t

Why to get confused. There are minor software hiccups. As you are familiar with xda you can always use custom roms
Hardware wise there are no issues. Build quality is damm solid. I have thrashed my phone many times, but it still survives.
Back glass is lil fragile.

This phone was a worthy buy @18K, it's definitely a steal @12k, but if you can wait, BigBillionDay/GreatIndian sale is around the corner, you might get an even sweeter deal.

For those not used to pimp their phones (unlock bootloader, flash rom etc...), i think Zuk Z2 is not a good choice as the original version is not perfect. But if you like to flash and customize your phone, so yes, 10 times yes,it's a very good phone (have it for almost 1 year and still happy with it).

What do you mean? I'm still using a 3 years old mi 3. Had to change only once the battery. Running the latest RR rom is still better than many new phones with OEM roms.

Why? I have Mi5 for a year,and it shames my father S6E in almost every aspect. Only thing going for S6E is screen...,maybe...
Well, now I'm using MI 6, I got it for have a month. The hardware is good except some problems caused by SD835(such as WiFi...), but the software is not so stable at the moment, for example, in latest version of MIUI the quick charge was limited...
It will be better after a few days, anyway software problems are easy to fix.

I don't think so. Used both S6 Active and S7 Active, I would say Mi 6 is better than both.

Which version MIUI you have? I have no problem with both the latest stable China and Custom EU rom (based on Dev China Rom).... (I used 45W charger of Xiaomi which support both USB PD and QC 3.0)
