[Q] Camera app

I found out tht camera in cm9 wasnt tht good cos lack of the some feature and slow autofocus(izit all the same for galaxy w camera? ) Any recommendation for camera app ? i mean not the app frm google play store. tq in advance. =)

What do you expect? Even Samsung said ICS was too heavy for our phone! Arco68 is working great to give us the taste of JB, so don't ask about improving camera at least it works. If you want a fully working Camera go back to Stock/GB it is originally made by Samsung so everything works.

Aye, arco has done awesome job.
So be happy, that there are atleast some customs ROMs.

the only good thing that all stock cams (GB/ICS) r good for is video filming, otherwise ull have to surf ur play store to find the cam app that fulfills ur needs (its variable according to the kind of pics u want "super fast capture or super hd clarity or super effects")

I would just download another camera app but I found the ICS camera to be alright really otherwise ICS camera+ works pretty well.

paid apps : pro hdr camera, fast burst camera, camera zoom fx, instantanea, PhotoSequence Pro, QuickPic Camera (Donate), lgcamerapro.
you choose the best for ur personal use, and rmbr its usually speed vs. quality so choose wisely

to zoom u shall go to a lower resolution than 5mp (2.4mp is my preferred)

Third Party Camera Apps for Z5C

The general consensus for this phone seems to be that it sports top-of-the-range photographic hardware but is sadly let down by poor software support and Sony's aggressive noise-reduction algorithms. As this is a software issue, it may be possible that enhanced image quality could be obtained using third party apps. BTW this app makes way better photos. But really only flattens the image, doesn't really get higher detail. I'll take it over my textured and fuzzy stock camera though!

Hi, thanks for testing. Not sure why it is not available on your devices, maybe some problem on Google Play.
I have attached is a screenshot of the Sony devices supported on my Google Play Developer Console, maybe some model is missing...

I'm sure it's something to do with the servers not updating yet. I see were checked off in the right spots for the compact! Thanks for the app BTW, it's nice!

Somehow it doesnt work for me.
When i first Install it it shows me the Tips, then i Press OK and after that i only see the Camera Icon.
Anyone have the same Problem`?

Thanks for the info. Some users reported that "Camera Super Pixel" app does not start correctly after the Android 6.0 update on Sony Xperia Z5. We are working to find the problem as soon as possible.

Balls, cheers for the heads up - I'll change the OP

I'm currently playing with open camera with API 2.0. So far it works but i haven't really compared to stock yet. I have noticed the camera button, the first press for focus causes a never ending focus loop... But tapping the screen works fine.

I had used "A Better Camera" with my previous phone for a while. It can perform "Dynamic Range Optimization" automatically after each photo is taken. The night mode is pretty good as well.
Ofcourse the issue is that Sony has not provided a FULL camera2 api implementation so you are limited. I sometimes still use ABC, when I'm taking a still, however it is quite slow compared to the native app with just starting and taking photos.

I use Cameringo+. I guess it was the best I've used with Z1 Compact and it kinda stayed with me. Truth is that the Z5 Compact camera is much much better. So I don't think I need live filters anymore.

I very search but not find good camera app. Especially video record terrible. I back stock base rom.
Edit: Find "jishnu camera mod". Users says better camera for aosp. but I dont find download link.

go to google plus e find "Jishnu's Camera Mod" the zip is there, flash the zip, it will works but need same improvements
don't work live Beauty and don't work had detect, but is a good camera:good::good:

I guess the LG don't public your API

I tested "YouCam Perfect - Selfie Cam" from playStore this app has (hand gesture shot) and (Live Beauty), a good app
And I have "Snap Camera HDR", like a professional camera with functions
this both apps can do more than original camera from AOSP

I make Lightroom adobe camera.. N i will to try download snap HDR now.

Google camera APK / best camera app for razer

So I'm new to razer phone and I want to take full potential of the camera as the software it comes with is terrible .I've heard the Google camera APK is worth downloading but I'm not sure what one to download and one installed how do I open the Google camera app , if someone could point me in the right direction of what to download that would be great .even any advice on a great camera app that makes the phone camera great that would be very helpful .Thanks in advance
