u did not get my point. the devices have same internal. roms of mmx a1 will work on other devices, say karbonn. thats y i got karbonn. even the recovery will work on other android one phones. i suggest you buy spice dream uno asap

We will almost certainly see a cyanogemod release on the platform at some point in the future.When we do, you can always leverage its theme engine to get the touchwiz look:

It's alright- not that great. Expect 18-20 hour backup with moderate usage, i.e. charge the phone every evening. 3G takes more of a toll on the battery than wifi though.

Yes- I don't use it heavily, but with 1-2 hour screen time I need to charge it in the afternoon/evening everyday.

Don't worry about the battery life. It's good enough. Don't fall for users who are assuming it and not used in person.

Must be something wrong.. It's not that bad. About other user talking about need to charge by evening.. That totally depends on the usage.. What's the screen on time on such scenario?

I'd like to share by battery stats.... I'm a moderate user. Gaming is not a priority. Both Sims are connected. Network is 2g. Wifi is on (goes to suspend when screen is off) most of the time. I'm getting more than expected backup. I believe playing a game like asphalt will drain battery on any phone. Screen will be at maximum brightness. All your phones resources are being used. Also a 6.5k price phone is not to be expected to do heavy gaming and still have a lot of battery

Hi, I'm an user of an old xperia x8 and I'm thinking in upgrade to an Arc S but I need to know a few things before, like battery life and smoothness of UI in GB and ICS (I'm not planing to install custom kernel/rom).

could you please define what does normal use mean for you if the same as for me (gmail sync on, some emails.. 15-25 as i use them instead of sms mainly, little bit of gaming like 30 minutes per day, maybe 15 minutes of talking and a couple of sms messages) then your results are astonishing... with such usage my phone struggles to stay unpluged for 20hrs.

Well i would not recommend arc s at this moment.. i accept it is a great phone looks great but its a bit outdated at this moment.. i would ask you to buy a xperia nxt series phone..
And samsung looks ugly in my opinion.. you can also check out htc one v..

i am sure it can handle that much of load for a day..samsung sucks..yesterday had a fight on S2 forum on the same topic..got a warning from Forum Mod too
It would be wise for now to go for Xperia P or U considering the same price as Arc S..
If you desire much for Arc S,then simply go for it!

Tbh, the Xperia s is good, but not a huge leap from the arc. Dual core is used to imply better performance, but it's the context that matters. If microsecond improvements in response really matter then go for an Xperia s, but don't look for a huge difference in performance overall then unless you're a huge gaming freak with no PSP the difference will be negligible.

There is no 3000 mAh battery available for Micromax Canvas A1 currently. You can try using it if it comes in the market in the future.
As for the battery life, that is pretty low what you are getting. If the mobile is not being used, i.e it is in standby and you are getting just 14 hours then there is something wrong, the standby of this phone is pretty good, I use it moderately and I get around 24 hours of battery life, And when I am at home, connected to Wifi and minimal usage easily gives me over 24 hours of battery life. I have also got a whopping 51 hours of battery life once on a single charge with WiFi and minimal usage, i.e when my phone was on standby most of the time.
Can you tell me exactly how is the phone being used? What sort of apps are installed? Its on 3G/2G/WiFi? How is the signal reception? etc. Maybe I could help you more.

Somewhere down the line the battery backup is going to deteriorate, so as a caution I wanted to know that is buying a higher mAh battery (if available) would be witty or not? As I heard there are some differences in Voltage and Ampers. Eg. I saw one battery for A116 it had 3000 mAh and 3.7 volts and 7.4Wh. While for Andriod one it had 1700 mAh, 3.8 Volts and 6.46 Wh. So this difference would canse any harm or not?? That is exactly I want to know.

34 hours is pretty normal I would say.
Yes, its natural for the battery capacity to deteriorate, however, it depends on you too. You have to practice good habits of charging in order to preserve the overall life of the battery. Follow those and you should be good for a year or two. By that time we will obviously get batteries for sale in the market which you can replace. It is advisable that you don't put other phone's battery into some other phone, yes, I know both are of micromax and might have the same dimensions, but as you mentioned there are differences at electrical level, which might or might not cause your device to misbehave, why take risk and make the situation worse?
So it's better you make use of the default battery properly by practicing good charging habits and make it run as long as possible, later on if we get a 3000 mAh for our phone then you can surely go for it or even replace the default battery with a new one as I mentioned earlier.

i don't think it is safe;;//
At the first place it doesn't seem a battery to be officially produced by micromax
and watt per hour is different on 1700mAh andon 2200mAh (with a difference of 0.1 v input)
So i suggest you not to take the risk of damaging your phone except for you really want to test it..(wont be a big damage it should be reparable )

Hey guys, Dont need to worry about that New Battery. I actually bought this new battery and been using it regularly. I didnt find any issues with this battery. It is perfectly safe. And it actually gives better Battery life since the mAh is higher in this new one. So, Anyone wanna buy this new battery, you can go ahead and buy it without any confusion...

I reported about the battery to micromax before buying.... They said buy batteries only from micromax store ......but after 2 days 3000 mAh went unavailable from eBay ....I think it was not the original and micromax consulted eBay after my report......

if you update phone to lollipop it will lost for 5 hours on heavy browsing for games it drops to 3-3.30 and if you on kikat difference of 3omin - 1 hour ... the best phone you can get at this price point

See it depends on the usage . Normally its like 1 1.5 day ( i use fb , wifi , location service , FB messgr.. , whatsapp regularly and play clash of clans ) and if you just charge and keep it then its like 4 days or 3 days... And i am a above average user . Means my 3g is on when wifi is off and most of the day wifi is on . So according to me battery is good and ideal for normal user..

Before you update it to miui10 what is your SOT? do you have bad battery backup before you update it?
i let it update as soon as i first used it , so i dont know what the performance was like on the older version

Abt battery i have nothing to complain. 4G always on due to work n i can use for a day without worrying. Gaming? From 100% playing Arena of Valor for abt more than 4hrs with wifi it still has around 60%. I even turn on the fan when playing that game for nothing xD bc you know what is the best? No kidding but 165W charger is serious fkin fast. U dont even have to charge for the night. Wake up, charge it and go brush ur teeth, wash ur face...and come back. No matter how many percentage u left it will ready for a day long
The only thing u need to worry abt when going to buy this phone is the camera and rom. Camera is just excepted. Keep finding some good and working Gcam and it helps to improve a little bit. The rom is incredibly fast and smooth but u know? Late noti like every china rom. Not too much serious but it's up to u
Anw im still waiting for global rom and sm1 know how to ub and root this phone

Sadly we dont have the very fast charging Version. I will go for the 6000mah but even this will be throttled in germany... Only 65watt i think but its okay my s22ultra load for over an hour

I think it will be fine. Mine has a mode which u can auto turn on the fan at maximum power to keep it cool xD nubia well done it

Like i said b4 rom is fast and smooth but nubia keeps it simple as they can so lacks a lot of stuff (or maybe they do it to suit the mainland) and im not quite like it. Just hope that nubia release a global rom for 8 pro+

Yes.... There only one Version with 6000mah and 65watt... But i think the 6000mah is better for long Gaming Theres an "mate" Version 256gb and one "void" with more ram an 512gb

Yes they r better for long gaming but quite heavy too. I used to have Rog 2 with 6000mah battery and my experience is not quite good. It drops on my face sometimes bc of the weight when i gaming or watching movie on bed xD btw asus is gud with their pc things but not smartphone. My Rog 2 gone dead because of the heat from GI eventhough i always play it only 30 mins per days without case, turn on the fan at maximum speed and stay on the room with air conditioner :v
Edit: i also stopped play GI from that time my Rog 2 dead eventhough i have a gaming laptop and now a PS5 :v
And in my opinion, 5000mah battery of pro+ is better. They less heavier, charge faster and they also have that "charging mode". For the "colour" opts i think void is the best. It looks like u have a mini pc with clear case in ur hand

Hmm i've check again so the different is only 2 gram. That's really weird dunno how they can do that
Edit: The pro+ is some how heavier. Maybe bc of the chipset to control the charge. Btw i've read onl that Realme is going to release a new phone with 200w
Global version has it. It's called Charge SEP in the QuickTile Settings.
