It depends on what you want. I've had 3 G3's two of which I still currently have. There will be ROM support for both if we can the BL unlocked, but until then its not likely.
The F460's battery life is the same as my F400, and D850. There is no noticeable difference between them. I would buy the F460 personally because I like the SD 805 and it benchmarks at 46+K on antutu. It is slightly faster and doesn't get as hot as my other G3's would under the same load. Getting a qi back is harder for the F460, but it's still doable.
The choice is yours, however the F460 is more future proof because of the SD805.

[Q] HTC One X Battery (Int'l vs North American Ver.)

Now that the HTC One X has been out for a couple of weeks in both International (Asia / European) version and North American (Rogers, T-Mobile, AT&T) does anyone know the verdict on which version has the better battery life?
I suppose this would be heavily based on usage, but I've read some contradicting things.
The quad core processor (in the International version) is suppose to be good on battery, but I've also seen (both reports coming from Engadget) that the North American version seems to be a bit preferred (because of the LTE, despite the 12GB usable memory).
Can anyone speak on this, and maybe let me know which one seems to fair better battery life?
I use the camera a lot, I don't game on my phone, I listen to music a lot, and I like to text quite a lot.
LTE would be handy, but seeing as I'll also be traveling with my phone and won't see that functionality be useful abroad... I'd be (and currently am) happy with the International version in a Slate color, and in 32GB (26GB usable memory space) form.
I'm getting 8-10 hour days on my HOX International version. If anything, I'd be eying the Rogers HOX if I were looking to get a North American version.
I have the International Version and I seem to get very good battery life. It last all day. Im rooted and running a custom rom. I browse the website and use it all day long. Don't really stream movies or youtube but it will last me about 12 consistent hours. Although a lot of people are complaining about the battery I don't see the problem on my end. Hopefully that will help a little.
For now the S4 Krait version has better battery life. As stated in Anandtech's review, there will be an update available for the Tegra 3 version that they are currently reviewing that will sort this out. According to Nvidia, it's a software issue, so hopefully the update will improve battery life somewhat.

Yes, S4 Krait is 32nm, while Tegra 3 is 40nm, so the smaller it is the better battery life (but then there is LTE in S4 which I don't know how much will make it worse compared to non-LTE phone).
Tegra 3 - I don't have high hopes for battery life improvement fix, but we will see, I'd love to get it and have that "amazing battery life" advertized by nvidia reps.
I know they already announced Tegra 3+ for later this year which is 32nm so that should help with battery life.
The T3 version takes almost 0 power during standby, it's the power draw during light use that is causing the lower battery life compared to the S4 US version.

Why is this the case?
Btw, you mean North American version. We Canadians had the phone launched first in North America.
Can anyone else speak on this query?

My guess is something from Sense isn't playing nice with the Tegra chip. My phone doesn't seem to lose power in standby but when I start using it after substantial standby time the battery level plummets. This leads me to believe that despite the fact my phone says I'm not losing much juice while in standby, I'm actually losing a fair amount.

I'm getting 4.5 hours screen time with heavy use on the international version, auto brightness and 1.28 stock.
I consider this great considering the screen is a battery hog.
What sort of screen time is the S4 getting?
So it really comes down to the fact that SLCD2 is a power hog?
I'm wondering if I should just return the HOX and wait out for the S3.
But I do like the aesthetics, and camera on the HOX.
I've had the Note, and it has had a better battery life, plus a brighter LED flash.
But as I travel a lot with my phone, its starting not to make sense to have something that big with me.

I made the same switch as you. I really miss the battery life from the Note, but the phone was just a bit too big. I'm really banking on HTC growing up and releasing the kernel source for the One X sooner rather than later. Once custom kernels start being built I'd be willing to bet we're going to see much improved battery life.

I'm not sure whether the Canada version is the S4 or T3 version
On why it is so, it's not known yet but I read somewhere that Nvidia says its a software issue, so hopefully some kind of update will tweak some settings to lower power usage while on light usage

[Q] i wanna a Kernel which can unlock my phone to 2.5Ghz.

(as u can see.i am a Chinese primary students.and my English is so bad.......this is my first time talk on XDA)
i have see a pic that a LG optimus G get 35000 in Antutu and i wanna this Kernel which worked on Kdz and can give my phone a highest cpu speed.
please help me.Thx
is there anybody.

not so many kernels are available for lg optimus g as of now.... u cannot over clock krait 300 cpu to more than 1.8ghtz.... if overclocked.. it would be burnt...... and benchmark scores never give true user performance.........for example... samsung's high end galaxy phones lag a lot due to touchwiz ui.. (not the processor type)....so i dont think you need to overclock your optimus g cpu ..to get a better performance.. its already a fast device.......

thanks.i have know that there is a kernels can make og work on 2.3Ghz with a sh which can keep my phone form boomboomboom.and i just want to have a try......but is seem to be a boring thought.LG optimus G is more fast than many phones.thanks for your help
CPU overlock 1.8 is perfect

[Q] How big is the performance difference between the 1.8 and 2.3GHz models?

I'll definitely be getting 4GB/32GB, but I haven't decided if I want the faster model or not. How great will the performance increase be between them? If it's any decent measure of scale, I currently have a Galaxy S4 (which I really don't like).

More than 1.2 Ghz and 4000 Mah in the battery

Snapdragon vs Exynos. Pros and cons. What I have to buy?

I wish to buy with a Snap (HK), but do not know which version is better. I heard that Exynos version has more mods, community.
Or P20 Pro? )
p.s. I do not want to have a ROOT and gaming.
Buy the cheapest one.

As of now exynos kernel is not optimised. Snap845 version will have better battery life.
Get the snap from China or Hk if u want dual sim.

Not according to GSM arena and I've seen some battery tests and exynos version has quite good battery life in this state. With optimisations it will be even better but it's not lacking right now. Maybe the only worse thing than SD is the GPU

I'm using exynos now.... Max abt 4hr SOT... Maybe this is normal. But I'm keen to try SD version...

O think you'd be disappointed but if you have the opportunity go ahead. SoT always depends of your usage and if you're getting 4h now I doubt you'd have much more with sd

Would it be safe to say that the anandtech article by Andrei doesn't mean that Snapdragon has better battery life?
I love my s9 just that I find battery drain faster than my s8...

What I mean is it might have better battery life but not by that much. S8 is already optimized. I think in the next few months people will be pleasantly surprised with the kernel optimisations Samsung will deliver. Exynos have better potential than sd and if they want they can give us excellent battery, better than the s8 but I guess we'll have to wait. Just relax and enjoy the amazing phone

That's terrible, my s7 edge, S8 plus, and Note FE are better than that.
Ive been waiting for buy an S9 to how this battery issue pans out. I always buy exynos for the unlocked BL and roms etc. But have waited this year due to the exynos issues and even considered the snapdragon because the new exyno is so badly optimized.
Coming from a pixel 2 xl where i get 6hrs plus SOT 4hrs will not cut it.

my battery usage wasn't as terrible at that.. my exynos version regular s9 always get 5hrs SOT at minimal, even at heavy usage days with poor reception.. my SOT averages in 5hrs 30mins though.. not a bad one but not the best too

While it's true battery consumption will greatly vary pending useage, apps, location...tons of variables it seems the exynos this year is overall not very good.
Your numbers are better but it seems more people are not having your luck
