Help testing WatchFace on Moto360 - Moto 360

Hi guys, I'm currently working on a Watch Face based on the fallout Pipboy HUD, I based the idea when I saw one for the Samsung Gear and after looking for one I couldn't find one for our Wear devices so here we are.
Currently the Watch Face is working fine on square devices (I have a Samsung Gear Live and is working like a charm). The only problem is that the square layout is not so good for a round device, so I made two different layouts, round and rect.
I tried to test it on a round emulator, but without GPU acceleration the Watch Faces won't paint up. And if you activated it, the round emulator breaks up. So here's my request: Can someone with a Moto360 be my guinea pig, the only thing that I need is a couple of screenshots.
Here's the source to the APK: PipBoyWear
Also I'm attaching some pictures how it looks in a Samsung Gear Live and how it should look like in a round device.
In case that the watch face crashes (I hope not), just remove the app from the Phone and the Watch Face will return to the default one.
Thanks in advance,
BTW the application is free and if everything goes fine, It should be available at the playstore in a couple of days.
Edit: Also I forgot to tell but the Pipboy health status is related with your battery status, e.g. if the battery is at 50% the Pipboy will have an arm and both legs crippled, also his face will change to an unhappy one.
Edit 2
Ok guys thanks to Finagle69 the app is now up at the PlayStore and is free. Hope you like it. Peace.

There's one of these for facer already FYI

I don't think there's a round one. The only one I've seen on Reddit was on an LG watch.
Here's this one in action. Also, I much prefer installing an APK instead of just another Facer face.

Anyone had any experience with this app?
I've been using Tasker and NFC tags for a bit now but came across this and it looks promising, has a load of negative comments on the play store but from what I can see a lot of that is about the authentication.
Thinking of using it but just wanted to know if anyone had any first hand experience with it first?
Can you give a link of the app please?
Sure, its here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.onx.app
Yup, I've used it. It's a nice idea, but fairly limited in what you can do i.e. you can't control most device settings

Tv Show Tracker app

Hy guys ,
I just sold my crappy iPhone 4 and got myself a Samsung Galaxy S II (me happy). I watch a lot of tv shows and it's hard to keep track of all of them.
On my iPhone i used iTvShows 2 and TvTracker(or something like this), any great apps on the android market?
Thx.
tvshowfavs
Tried it but they have some register problems and i dont know the web site to try and log in there
From the several i've tried, SeriesGuide is the best i've found and most intuitive one.
Thx for the reply, it's a nice app.

SeriesGuide is definitely the best app for searching, finding and 'guiding' tv shows. Been using it for almost a year now and its widget deserved a homescreen for its own

What is this icon in middle of my screen?

This icon popped up in my youtube app out of nowhere in the last few days. It also dims the vid. I have no idea what it is or where it came from and it’s driving me nut. Please help.
That is the icon to enable casting via Chromecast.
Silly question but I don't have chromcast so how do I get rid of this icon?
You possibly have Google TV then? It would only show up if you have chromecast or Google TV

That's the weird thing, I don't have a smart TV, dumb TV or any TV for that matter in the house right now and this thing just popped up out of the blue.
So the question remains, how do I get rid of it?
Uninstall chromecast

I have the same same problem and don't know how to get ridbof it.
Are you on an unsecured network? On the same network with a ps3 or blu ray player with Youtube streaming? I get that icon when I have Youtube opened on my Note 2 and open the Youtube app on my ps3.
There must be a way to dismiss that icon, right? I mean even if you do have Chromcast, it doesn't mean you necessarily want to cast everything.
Maybe the Chromecast section of the forums can help.
I have a Samsung Smart TV that I have linked to my Nexus 7 youtube for Optional transmission to the TV.
But recently, YouTube has started showing this icon permanently when viewing youtube videos on my Nexus, slap bang in the middle the screen.
Im surprised that arent a huge number of people reporting this problem at this forum. Any solution would be appreciated.

On my Note II this is what I did to turn it off.
Settings-->More Settings--->Allshare Cast and make sure it's off.
Funny thing, that none of you even considered that it's a freaking bug in youtube!
Uninstall update in play store and it's fixed.

Same problem here, I'm running CM nigthlies, but I found this post --> productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/youtube/91-3-Nh3BHM[/url][1-25-true] --> which relates the problem to connected bluetooth headsets.
Disconecting my bluetooth headset worked for me, but it didn't for others.
I hope this helps and that the bug gets solved, I just don't want to have to unplug my headset to watch a video....
Yes, I do use a bluetooth headset when I see the problem.

Thanks a bunch!!! Been fighting this stupid symbol for weeks and never once thought it was a bug or issue with youtube. Just assumed my Note II had a problem or my bluetooth or wifi or anything else besides what it really was....youtube! Uninstalled the updates and symbol was magically *poof* gone! I can no longer watch the video while continuing to do something else but a small price to pay until youtube fixes that issue.
Youtube play updates claims this has been fixed now. I have not tested it yet.

Google currents alternative

Since currents got taken down and replaced by new stand are there any alternatives out there that are similar to currents? I liked how it sorts your subscription by categories and you can access the categories by swiping in from the left and once in a category if you swipe from the right you can access different subscriptions... Anything out there that does this?

I've used Pulse for a long time and like it a lot.

News360 is another good one.
Not a fan of the layout that pulse uses and I'll give news 360 a go. Thank you

im another looking for a Currents replacement. I loved Currents it was perfect for what i want! I have tried, Feedly, Greader, Flipbook, rss reader, they all suck! I just want something that looks good and more importantly allows me to categorize my feeds! none of them let me do this.. If i want to read about android stuff i go to my android feeds, if i want car, i car to all my car feeds etc.. Will have a look at 360 too.. hepe its good.

Gyroscope Watch Face

Looking for a watch face or an app that works that makes use of the inbuilt gyroscope ?
I saw a very nice watch face in the Samsung Gear S running Tizen on the pocket now review video. Was wondering if there is any for android wear that does the same trick.
Here is the link to the video (see 0:30)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQZFrpGy1fU&list=UUO_vmeInQm5Z6dEZ6R5Kk0A
The comments says its Holo clock face in app store which i assume is Tizen app store. Anyone know if this or similar is available on android wear ? Been looking for days now. help would be much appreciated.
Cheers in advance
Looks cool. Haven't seen it done before, and I can only imagine it'd be very tough to replicate in a smooth way using WatchMaker or Facer.
agree. but wouldnt it be nice to have a app for such a face ? developers any suggestions ?
Oh man, that would be really freakin cool! I can think of a few designs already that would look fantastic...
Any idea where to download something like this ? It's freaking cool ! That would be awesome on my wrist ^^
Well thats exactly why i started this thread. But seems no luck. been thinking of developing one instead

Trying this out in a bit. Signed up for beta and got the watch face. Let's see how it looks.
Got the WatchMaker beta. The gyroscope feature is cool. It's just a numeric value, lower for a more subtle effect, higher for a more noticeable effect. The watch face provided for testing purposes is very rudimentary, so the larger elements move a bit too much, with a value of 90. The text is much more subtle with a value of 15. So the feature itself is pretty cool, but at least that watch face needs tweaking to be smoother and more realistic. But it does open up the door to some cool ideas in the future, no doubt.
I hope he fixed the bugs it had. I had stopped using it altogether because it would continue to force close in the morning when taking the watch off the charger. The specify time before screen turns off feature seems to work. I set it for 30 seconds and stopwatched it to be accurate. I like at least 30 seconds per face.
Anyways, the OP should be satisfied with getting the watch face provided and after some fine tuning.
This is an unbelievable feature. Some awesome updates coming through in WatchMaker.
Would anyone want to make a 3d Jarvis watch?!
Nice to see the update brining this on android wear. Cant wait to try it on my Moto 360. Is the app available on play store already ?
Yes you have to join the watchmaker g+ community, sign up for beta testing then app update appears on play store.

Anyone got a 3d jarvis going yet?!
Haven't seen it. It should only be a matter of changing the gyro value per layer... it's just the Jarvis watch has sooo many layers, I'm staying away from that
May i know how to get it working? I've a Note 3 pair with moto360
