[Q] Zerolemon battery case 9000 mAh - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know some of you guys have been looking forward to this you can order from amazon 60 + shipping
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...s2&tag=androheadl04-20&linkId=4RC7L5VUDCQYSBW
Can I use a tempered screen protector with this case?
If you picked it up can you let me know how long did your battery last? I know its long at least two days but want some real results.

I have been looking forward to this release but damn that thing is thick, might be just a little to thick for me wish someone would make a smaller version like 6000 mah

They do, ordered mine this morning.

They just announced this battery earlier today. Doubt you are going to get any answers for like a couple weeks until people start receiving theirs and actually using it.

Be wary. A lot of these batteries aren't actually the capacity that they advertise.
$12 may be worth the risk.

yea, i just bought one i will see how works
On the captivate forums a user bought a few of these different mAh batteries and did tests with some battery meters. None of the batteries did as well as the stock OEM batteries. Even known "good" brands like Seido didn't do well. The higher capacity batteries never did as well as even stock batteries and the cheap eBay batteries that matched the originals did really bad.
If i want an extra battery i will just buy it from AT&T or Moto - or somewhere that i know the one i buy is genuine.
i bought one today too
I asked the seller:
Does the battery fit in the original battery-case?
here is his answer:
his is andida battery. It is better than the original battery thick only little .do not worry,it could be use
Do you think it will fit?
I looked and it seems to me like there's not really room for a thicker battery....
Make sure to check out the seidio battery...that might be a good one.
Surely:

I would be very wary of any battery that is any thicker than the original. If you have to press harder on the cover to get it to clip on with the thicker battery, it could be physically stressing the circuit boards or other components.
its already shipped so i will report back when i get it if its not the same as stock i could use it as backup battery when im camping so for 12 bucks worth
That's a monster lol perhaps 120 us its pretty expensive for me plus shipping , not sure how big will be my atrix . I will wait chinese one

Battery for HSPA+ version of the Galaxy Nexus

So, anyone know where I can get the official battery, preferably one that comes with the battery charger? Regular and extended applies to the question.
Bumping this to see if anyone has any updated information on it.
alot of the galaxy nexus batteries on ebay seem to originate in Hong Kong. since I will be going there next week, i'll be on a lookout for both official as well as non official batteries
(i feel like the difference between the official and nonofficial batteries is just the Samsung logo slapped on. I feel that the all the cases and batteries on ebay all originated from the same factory as casemate cases and other batteries etc etc.)

Don't forget that the battery needs to have an NFC antenna for NFC/Beam to work as well.
Found some good news, or what seems to be good news. I have found the official(seller claims) extended battery for sale on ebay, here's the link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120831437025#ht_3470wt_905
Now, before we all get excited, I am not sure of this comes with the extended battery cover. Currently inquiring the seller about it and awaiting for some good news.

Well, I would assume they would be? I mean, chances are pretty high anyway because the seller is from Korea and from what I know, only the Korean market has the extended battery for the GN. I'm just hoping that they come with the back cover so I don't have to hunt for one.

For those who are desperate enough, they can try duct tape? lol
does anyone now how much thicker this battery is?
since the back cover is pretty flexible, i think it can work if its less then 2mm.
i really need another battery since the 1750mah battery just gets me to home and work, and i need to recharge it sometimes @ home before going out again.
BUMP!!!
I NEED a extended battery for this GSM Nexus !!
Well I knew they would pop up soon! and also was thinking maybe you could use the original back cover too, since the sensation had an extended battery and you could squeeze it in with the regular back cover! I will keep searching!
Would be great if a korean could test it, try to fit the extended battery with the standard back cover.
I messaged a user on here that said they were from Korea. He said he'd look into it if there is somewhere that we can order the battery and cover. He mentioned that the cover for the battery just fills in the bump at the bottom of the phone so that it is more flush on the back.
He also mentioned that probably there aren't a lot of places to order(or at all) since the phones there come with the battery already.
Extended battery does not fit when used with the regular back. Pictures soon, currently at work.
As for availability, definitely give it a month or so. This phone and all related accessories are just flying of the shelves. I can't even find cases here, let alone extra batteries. I also heard from another user that the Galaxy Nexus is sold out in certain cities until 2012, so that's a pretty good indication as to how long it might be.

Love the extended battery on my GNex!

Just want to say that I received my extended battery today and how awesome it feels on the phone...love it way better than the standard battery and cover. Now I'm just hoping this bad boy gives me at least 2-3 more hours of juice.
Def no regrets!

Glad to hear it. FedEx should be delivering mine here shortly but I need to head to Verizon first to swap out the phone due to the green screen issue. Hopefully the extended battery will work with the Case-Mate Tough case that I have on it now.

What do you guys mean by "feel of the phone is better"? The weight and thickness of the phone or the overall longer battery life?
The weight and thickness plus the longer battery life....trust us, get the extended battery with cover. This really should have been the default battery for the Gnex.
I think we need separate forums for the GSM Galaxy Nexus and the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. These are really two completely different phones.

I totally agree! There are lots of wasted posts asking if it's for GSM or LTE. LOL
The battery definitely weighs more...which I dig! The back cover is only slightly more rounded...
Huge fan

I also received mine a couple of hours ago and I love it.
Love how the phone feels and look.
I love the way this feels. The back is also less slippery and it just feels right.

When did you guys order it from Verizon online? I placed my order on Friday night. I have the order confirmation number, but the page to check the order status sends me to an "Page is currently unavailable" placeholder after entering all of my info. Do they send out a shipping confirmation with tracking info? Thanks!

I don't mind carrying other batteries, but also carrying around extra backs seems like a pain if it's not necessary. Plus it seems like people just really like the feel of the extended cover more.

Maybe this is a nooby question, but how is it to use batteries which are not form samsung? I think its okay if its batteries from know companies like Mugen, but is there any danger if you buy from a more unknown companie, like this. Can your phone be damaged?

1st Extended Battery on the Streets (That I am aware of...)

6400 mAh on Amazon, have not heard of the name before. I am still thinking about ZeroLemon, just putting this out here for those that like a smaller battery (less than 10,000 mAh)
https://www.amazon.com/Perfine-Exte...36917&sr=8-1&keywords=lg+v20+extended+battery
I may bite the bullet and buy it just to do a sort of review for everyone here. Double battery life sounds good. It already makes it through a school day (8am-3pm) and is left on 15% with a lunch top up so this will probably help out in that aspect.

Ah ok, did not think to look in there, thought it was solely focused on ZL. I know no reviews I can find either, but as you can see my search skills are not top notch at times lol. But not sure if 6,400 will scratch my itch, I eat the LG battery up in not time, mainly because I keep the screen at 100% 24/7. Plus, with my Note 4 it worked great and not in mind of trying a new brand.

Phenomenal product. Yes, big and heavy. Stick it in my jacket pocket and even sometimes let my friends use it at the same time as I'm using it because it has 2 usb and 3 micro usb ports.
I'm interested, but what kind of grip does that have? I don't want a slippery back with no option for a case. I'm also not to keen on silver. Wish it was a soft touch, grippy black back.
