Notes::
B14CKB1RD now comes with F2FS Support and has the ability to run on any rom that supports it. I have also removed prebuilt synapse from the kernel as you can now safely get updates for it and install from playstore itself (or use whatever one you want of your choice but i will not support those that have issues using other tweak tools...you have been warned). Below are a list of my personal settings and preferences that i use with synapse:
on first opening of synapse there is a checkmark and an X at the top..go ahead and hit the checkmark before anything
On CPU Tab: I set max frequency to 1958 Mhz and hit checkmark to apply
On CPU VOLT Tab: On the cpu global voltage i drop it down to -25 and hit checkmark to apply
On SOUND Tab: I changed from "Custom" profile to "Quality". Hit the checkmark and youll see the heaphones and speaker drop to -2. Move them both to 4 or 5 (depending how loud you want them) and then hit checkmark to apply. (this actually produces great loud sound)
On BUILD.PROP Tab: I changed wifi scan interval from "15" to "150" then hit checkmark to apply.
thats exactly how i have it set and running and runs top notch for me. Hope you all enjoy.

I personally Prefer the use of Trickster MOD for kernel tuning. if you want to switch to using trickster i recommend removing built in kernel tweaking app if possible. I used rom toolbox's app manager to do so. Trickster can be found on Play Store or on xda.
For roms that support DoubleTap2Wake: make sure it is enabled and checked in Settings > Display and if using Trickster MOD under the "specific tab" tap on "Screen Wake Control" and set it to 1 for bottom half enable or 2 for fullscreen. Don't go any higher in number as it wont set anything. after your done tap on the checkmark at the top right to apply and save
For frequency changes to stick: In Trickster Mod, change to the frequency you want and tap on "Frequency Lock" to enable it and tap on the checkmark at the top right to apply and save
Notes::
This Kernel will only work on roms which use the latest most up to date kitkat source code for your phone and the N5 audio driver adaptation from dr87. I honestly dont plan on this changing at this time and please make sure you meet the requirements before saying this kernel does not work for you. Thanks and enjoy!!!

This kernel moves like a champ. The new update is liquid smooth.Speaking of liquid smooth, the kernel + ROM is an indestructible COMBO!
Thank you for maintaining this for us!

Seems to have quite a bit of Governers, I/O Schedulers, TCP Congestion Controls, I am a noob, is there a manual to all of these different options?
I am using T-Mobile and I want to get good battery life and good LTE throughput and performance too, but how can anyone know what to even look at or pick when they are confused, yes I tried Google, very limited in what I could find, older explanations to older stuff and nothing much new as I see you have described above.

Overclock options? Since it has n5 audio drivers, we have to make sure ROM uses n5 too right?

So far so good, its like butter!

As a friendly reminder, I'm sure it would be helpful to the developer, as well as interested parties, to include the ROM and variant in reporting results.

I don't do anything in particular to prevent it. I have the stock LK4 Samsung boot logo. Give it a try. Worse that happens is you lose the boot animation and have to go back to stock.

That's because custom boot animation support is part of the kernel but a few lines have to be added to init.rc and init.qcom.rc in the ramdisk in order to get custom animations to work. I've personally had a really difficult time trying to crack it in the JB kernel...the process is different and not as easy as it was in with ICS kernel releases.
Also I'm very interested in this kernel. I've been looking for something basic. Stock with undervolting and a nice governor like intellidemand to go with it. Thanks so much for this.

[KERNEL] [LG ROMS ONLY] [D802 Only] StockMOD Kernel v3.00 [3rd Dec 13]

StockMOD Kernel for D802 international phones
Suitable for Official LG and LG-based roms ONLY
Only for D802 International models
Features:
- ExFAT support for USB OTG / Card readers with large drives
- CIFS network share mounting supported
- Voltage control support (no built in UV, but configurable via apps like SetCPU)
- Optimised kernel libraries
- MSM SoC + Kernel "always-on" logging and debugging disabled to save CPU cycles
- Simple GPU governor
- Ondemand governor tweaked for lower latency speed shift changes
- Internal kernel function fixes (ie, memory leaks, scheduler fixes)
- SIO scheduler (default, noop, cfq and ROW are available)
- high performance, low latency kernel
- compiled with Os flags and neon-vfpv4 FPU enabled
- Westwood+ TCP congestion control
- Built from official LG v10a kernel source
- Lokified during flash
Installation:
- Download .zip and copy to phone
- Reboot to recovery
- Recommended to take full system backup, including EFS partition
- Flash .zip
- Reboot
- 1st reboot may take a little longer than usual
Please do not:
Do not ask for other models to be supported, at this time is D802 only. Other models may follow in the future
Do not ask for extra features. This is to be a stock-compatible replacement kernel only. If LG didn't add it, I probably wont either.
Do not ask for support of other roms, such as CM / AOSP. Im a LG based rom user, if you want a kernel for another type of rom either use one of the available ones we already have or learn to compile your own.

installed on the : [ROM][Stock][LG-G2 D802 international] StockMOD rom, Fast, Fluid, Lagfree - v1.06
I am on g.lewarne's rom. First boot went fine. Got bootloop on reboot.

Are you guys running any "set xxx parameter on reboot" type of apps ?
I've been flashing these kernels, as have my esters for nearly a week and have not had any issues with them. The only thing I can think is you have an app which is trying to do something on boot up....
My phone was stock fresh, full wiped, installed my rom, then all the test kernels and 0 issues

I just tested, no bootloop after reboot...
You have not flash something else (a tweak or a mod) or modifying something? Undervolt (too much and set on boot)?
I don't know, maybe wait g.lewarne...

im starting to wonder if there are some subtle phone hardware variations that we are not aware of... ? (and im not talking 16/32gb since kernel is the same according to LGs sources)
either that or its is some app installed trying to do something funky....
@ g.lewarne, exept the CPU binning, I don't know

I mean, in Wootevers kernel thread there have been similar reports of sporadic non-compatability and although our kernels are quite different, the basic hardware controlling bits are the same. Even if the SoC had different variations, why would the stock LG kernel work for everyone when one built from their own source wont ?
Its either an app, or the sources LG share are not the "real" ones they use, which I have some suspicions about for other reasons

[Kernel][26/11/14][LG][D851]Rin Kernel 1.8.5[KITKAT]

RIN Kernel for D851
Close to stock with some sugar added ... delicous!
Hey guys and girls,
you may have seen my unified stock kernel thread already (or may not, but doesn't matter). This kernel is my attempt to build up on the fixed source and add some additional features for us mod lovers to thinker with and to personalize your device to your usage. For now, I'll keep it close to my stock source and just pull some additional features and fixes in, but not to much. That may change in the future (maybe even soon), but for now, I'll stick to that paradigm.
First of, DISCLAIMER, I'm not responsible for bricked devices, dead unicorns, rainbows with missing colors, world war, nose bleed, void warranty (you know that already, don't you? your warranty is void now and it's your fault ) or any other harm happening to your device, you or people around you!

Any questions? (FAQ)
How can I toggle the android logger?
File Explorer Method:
Go with a root explorer to /sys/kernel/logger_mode and open the logger_mode file.
Remove everything inside that file and put the number 1 to enable and 0 to disable the logger into it and save the file.
Terminal Method:
Enable the logger
Code:
echo 1 > /sys/kernel/logger_mode/logger_mode
Disable the logger
Code:
echo 0 > /sys/kernel/logger_mode/logger_mode
My internal sd is not working, what to do?
Open adb shell or a terminal emulator and type
Code:
su
restorecon -v -R /data/media

One thing I notice using smartass v2 is the keyboard lag is gone. SwiftKey works well for short periods then starts lagging really bad for whatever reason. Not happening at all since I flashed this kernel. That alone makes this kernel badass ?

Weird for me its fully working.. ill wait for some more reports to see if it really doesnt work.
And the cm12.1 kernel runs buttery smooth on my device no lag at all.
I already have a beta tester (myself and @koradiavatsal ) and he reported that it works.
For the people who previously tried revkernel and didnt get dt2w working, then this kernel probably wont be working too!

awesome ... zip file loaded to sdcard and rebooting to recovery to flash here we go ... thanks
So far so good! Watch is running really fast and smooth and battery seems to be a bit better than what I got on Skin's kernel, but that might also be cause I factory reset my device when I flashed the kernel (since I was running Skin's kernel before). No issues like random reboots or crashes either. I haven't modified any kernel settings yet though.
Holy sh!t
Thanks!
This is the smoothest experience I have had on this watch so far and I've used all of the things!
loving this kernel to a high degree so far ... it was damn thoughtful of you to include kernel adiutor and make it flashable in recovery. the selection of governors, hotplug profiles and i/o schedulers is top notch (I'm no expert on these matters though I know just a small amount)
Early observations: on your stock settings both my watches don't like waking up on tilt to wake, they usually require a double-tilt to wake up and one watch even locked up and required a reboot BUT adjusting some settings fixed this instantly. I point out though that I did not do a factory reset or wipe any partitions or caches before installing this kernel. I just flashed and started having fun.
currently I'm getting VERY satisfactory performance with the cpu's frequency locked at 787mhz + interactiveX governor + intelliplug's eco-conservative profile + gpu freq max 320mhz with powersave governor + row i/o scheduler with 1024kb read ahead
so far this kernel is badass
