Hi everybody, I'm posting here because I thought this would be the best place for this thread
As the title says I would like to have an updated windows phone xda-dev app, since the one currently on the store is from back to 2011 and the design of it is, in lack of better words, ugly ( at least compared to the current design of the page)
What do you guys think, should windows phone get some love and receive a revamped app?

i found that the korean Xperia Site has the SPB Mobile Shell 3 so you can download it and use it as a panel
the file adding is a little bit laggy so download it direct from http://sonyericsson.diocean.co.kr/swf/download_contents/spb/SpbMobileShell_30_X1_ko_signed_final.cab
To switch the Korean panel to English, just delete the file SpbMobileShell.txt in the installed path (my device/program files/spb mobile shell) to make it English.

Hi folks, i have just bought an 02 XDA orbit 1, and i really like the device although one of my gripes is that the keyboard is too small for texting.
I am running windows Mobile 6.1 professional, ROM version 'Oops black WWE' and I have a 1gb micro sd installed.
can you please let me know if the keyboard 'EZIMPUT 2.1 will work ok on my device in English? and could someone please point me to the link for the best version to use with my device specs?
Sorry also, I am really new to Windows mobile, is it just a matter of putting the cab onto the phone and installing it from there?
Also, sorry again, but is there any way to get the screen to dim completely after the time out. mine still shows and although dim, may be enough to be using the battery.

I am sorry if this question has already been asked... I couldn't find the answer.
I was talking to one of the techies at my local Orange store, and they mentioned that in the new WP7 devices, it is only possible to choose the language at the first startup (like some computers). After this, it is not possible to change the language.
Is this true?!!? I was playing with a HD7 today, and you could change the language as often as you like.
Was the techie talking rubbish or is it true that in the new models coming out it will not be possible to change the language after the initial selection?

if you experienced the ability to change the language at first hand (doing it yourself), then believe that over what some guy told you, regardless of if he's Steve Ballmer/Jobs.

I am a new on this precious forum I would like to ask a question, despite a negative answer from a mobile shop seller, if there is a possibility to install windows 7 for HTC S 620.
According to this seller my phone can not endure the OS because of the processor.
I ado apologize in advance if there was a similar question and it was already answered.
P.S. I love my phone and I do not like touch screen phones so this is a chance to prolong my love for my phone and to be in touch with the newest mobile technologies.
P.S. 2 If by any case I can't install Windows 7 to my mobile is there a chance to install the new 2010 Office? If yes can you guide me to the link.
WiFi HTC S620
Another important question for me!
Does my HTC S 620 has a WiFi and can I use it as every WiFi as on other phones. Even if I have in the panel WiFi icon when I click on it the Command Manager appears and there is no way independently to activate the WiFi. Does this means that the phone is only used as a modem and does not have independent WiFi.
I red that there are sticky post can you somehow show me where are they!?

Hi, Welcome to the forums. unfortunately you can't and will not see WP7 in our excalibur. regarding the office 2010 you can download the cab from the website or though market place (cab attached)

hello peopple i just had for many years a HD2 , now i got a brand new HTC One X, the truth iam lost with android system , I dont know where to star y have being out of developers for amost a year, some can tell me where to look? what can i do with this divice? thanks in advance, sorry for my inglish
honestly mate you should check out the threads here in the hox section also you should check videos in youtube out to see what youre able to do. you will find a lot of stuff and with the time learn a lot about android. congrats to your jump to android and have a lot of fun with it.
maybe you should go read the manual?
many years with HD2 but you didnt try android on that? man~~ that thing is a beast.
Open the list of all your apps, there's an HTC app, I'm guessing it's called "Show" in English (I have the Dutch version myself, so I'm not sure what it's called in English), it has a green round icon with a white "i" in the middle. Open this one, it asks you to download new explanations. This app basically explains everything that is on your phone and how to use it. Have fun!
