Yes there is. If your on stock go to settings /display /home touch buttons. You can arrange them in what ever order you want there.

[Q] ROM/APP: permanent nav buttons on screen?

My home, back and recent buttons on the phone are broken. I hpermanent ave root but that's not the reason.
So, is there an app or Rom which can put those buttons permanent on bottom of screen, and then make the rest of the screen the display. So it should lower the height of the viewport, and put those buttons in the remaining space below.
I've tried "button savior" app, but I don't want those buttons as an overlay.
The screen on the phone is big enough to use some of it as a permanent button area I think.

most aosp roms and some sense roms have the option to show the "nav bar" at the bottom, some even have the option to change the colour of the buttons

Try the ParanoidAndroid ROM.
You can enable those buttons in there and you can even customize them exactly the way you want them to be! (the size, color, etc...) :victory:

Pie Launcher which is for root users also provides some features..try it

Sorry for not replying for so long.
Those buttons are enabled by default, so that shouldn't be a problem. The latest version of this ROM can be found here. However, why didn't you just have a look yourself? It can be found pretty easily in the Original Development section

[Q] Anyone know of a way to get menu overflow button?

Anyway to get the menu overflow button into all apps and disable menu key or make it multitask key? Xposed modules or Roms? I loathe the menu key. All of my other devices have software buttons so I'm always thrown off when going to my note. Thanks

xposed module: 3-dot menu mod do the job(add soft menu key). Install it, activate in xposed and restart.
PS. And Samsung did it again wrong, because the menus are ugly in all their apps (light grey icons on a white background).
delete
Good stuff. This restored the 3 dot menu in Chrome after Google yanked it out in the last update.
I peronwly love the menu button

Now to find a way to turn the menu button into a task switcher button and set long press home to google now
Youre right ... Listen to me get xposed modules install gravity box jellybean version... and use their pie controls.... make them appear on left side.... so use ur left thumb to acces home button and recent task on pie.... and your right thumb for the return button ... i know the feels... since that threw me off too ... this way you can comfortably navigate without sacrificing screen estate... .. trust me it rocks... contact me if you have more questions .. youre welcome

Long press home to Google Now can be done with Xposed. Both my phone and tablet work like that. I use Switchr for task switching with the activator in the bottom left and Button Savior Pro on the bottom right.
mine does that automatically. it also tried opening dolphin for some reason LoL

[Q] LG Keyboard changing keys

I want to try and change the bottom row keys on the LG keyboard. Has anyone been able to change say the "." key into the microphone key? I've looked on the device help screen, but just can't seem to make it work. Anyone else have luck?

Ok I'm not following your instructions. To the left of my space key i have the cog button. To the right of space bar i have period key. How exactly do i change the one on the left? From within settings or where? Which settings? I'm sure it's something really easy but i just can't make it work.
Disregard i did figure it out. I just didn't realize you had to push the symbol key in the instructions page of settings. Once i did that i was able to change up the bottom row! Thanks!

Remap multitask to menu?

Any way to do this without root on the Note 4? I believe HTC offers this option on their M7 and M8 phones, so I really hope Samsung did the same since they switched it.
yes please! I believe it can be done but uncertain without decompiling the app doing some recoding and then recompile the results into a .apk file.
Hold the button down....it's menu with a long press of the multitasking button

haha me too i want menu one touch menu and recent long press of home button
I didn't realize the back button still did menu with a long-press. Glad to have learned that rather than having to search the 4 corners of the screen to see where the menu in whatever app is hidden.
When root is found, it should be a simple thing to flip the functionality of it right?
Also, anyone else wish there was a flashlight quick toggle in the notification tray?

Possible to change buttons for the navigation bar?

In my former smartphones I always had the back button to the left and the app switching button to the right. Is it in any way possible to swap their positions?
