Press and hold volume down +power. When you see the LG logo quickly release and press and hold power+volume down. From here you will get a pop up asking if you want to factory reset your device. Use the volume keys to switch to yes and power key to press enter. This will get you to TWRP.

Sorry for that but looks power supply to motherboard is not there, may water gone inside or something else,If it's SDS then you will be able to go in Download mode.
I had the same problem, I also wasn't able to go to download mode it that's the same for you, you should sent it back to Samsung directly. If you don't have warranty left the will probably chage you something but still better than throwing it away

Stuck on bootloop after KDZ-ing bricked Optimus G (Canadian version)

Hi guys,
I have an E973 (Canadian version) and recently it got bricked. So I decided to restore to stock using KDZ files. Thing is, once the KDZ process ended I was stuck on a boot loop so I used wipe.bat but everytime I use that file, I end up with this screen.
I can still get in Download mode and Recovery though. If I turn the phone off, it will just restart and get stuck on the LG logo again.. i've tried doing the whole process again and again but it's not working..
HELP PLEASE. (((
Thanks!

Press and hold Volume Down Key + Power/Lock Key at the same time isn't doing anything..

Correct way is
Both volume keys pressed' than press power
You will get a fastboot kinda screen
Now press volume down twice
Now press power
USB cable should be un plugged
Also if this doesn't work, go to download mode and flash kdz again.

So, as you said, I turned off the phone, pressed on both volume keys THEN power button and it's not doing anything.. I've tried to flash Kdz multiple times before posting this topic.. I really don't know what to do..
When KDZ-ing, patience is a virtue.

Try just Volume Down and Power, not both volume keys. Or just google Optimus G hard reset.

Getting into TWRP Recovery

Hello everybody,
I hope somebody can help me, I just flashed TWRP and CMB on my 8.3
But i forgot to wipe data before. Now the boot animation still stays.
Can somebody tell me how to get into TWRP, I tried everything. Power + Vol + - ....
Is it a good idea to recover it with the LG tool?
Thanks,
Beagle
First of all you need the 2.6.3.1 version of twrp as the previous one cant enter recovery with a key combo. Then try this:
- With Device Powered Off And Unplugged
- Press and hold Power Button + Volume Down
- When the LG logo shows up, release the power button only
- Now press and hold the Power and Volume Up button while keeping your hold on the Volume Down button
- When the factory reset screen appears, release your hold on all buttons
- Follow On Screen Indications

although it will say to perform a factory reset it will enter recovery mode

I just tried it myself, and he's got it basically right.
When you first see the LG logo after holding Vol Down + Power, let go of both buttons, then immediately hit and hold Vol Down + Vol Up + Power. It should register.

I'm gonna guess you still have 'fast boot' turned on in Settings-Power. This needs to be off to properly turn the phone off

Hahaha you did it in the wrong way...
first... you need to hold down power + volume up button..
release power button after your phone vibrates two times (but still hold volume up button)
once you see "ASUS" boot up, realese the volume up button...
after that you will see fastboot gui where you can see "NORMAL BOOT" click volume down until you see "REVOVERY MODE" then click power button..
after that your phone will reboot and you'll see sleeping robot and ERROR message, if you see that just click volume up button then power button (you need to do it fast) then release power button, keep trying until you enter the recovery mode (volume up, power button, realese power button)
hope this will help you

I think after unlocking bootloader and flashing custom recovery and kernel would make life so much simpler.
You'd think that, yes but as the expression goes, "you make plans and life happens"...
Besides, if everything went right Murphy would be out of a job... (if that is a bit cryptic it refers to Murphy's Law - "What can go wrong will go wrong", I like to add the amendment, "at the worst possible time"...)
It's a bit poetic I think...
Hi, is there any other solution to go into recovery with some app and no hardware buttons?
