I have got my GERMAN Fire Phone some days ago. The Fire OS was 3.6.0
After I have searched for any update and the system found really one: Fire OS 3.6.2
I have searched for any infos and new features, but found nearly nothing. So I only can give you these NUMBERS:
Fire OS 3.6.2 (122009420)
Fire OS 3.6.0 (121006820)
Can anybody tell us something about that fact?

The 3.6..... Versions are for Europe. America has 3.5...

As I told: GERMAN Fire Phone. I bought it over Amazon.de in Germany. I am German. Sorry for that little confusion!
Besides the "Country number" 3.5 or 3.6 it will help to hear about update x.x.2, don`t you think so?

This is what I had to do and I got a quick response confirming that the AT&T North America source code was then released so definitely worth a shot. Here is their response:

We downgraded to 3.5, which is an american version of the Fire OS.
This is suffed with att apps and settings.

Please only send them the link to the newest American OS (3.5.1 I believe)
Wouldn't want them to know the link for 3.5 is still up (Downgrades are still possible, unless someone uploads the file elsewehere)
Also, if you haven't written the 2nd email yet, I would advise that you tell them in order to be in compliance with AOSP guidelines, Manufacturers are required to release the OS & source code for devices running the Android operating system.

As it was noted in some of the threads here the last two digits in the ROM version apparently the region code.
So let say even if it is an Asian ROM but one is x.xx.831.1 and another is x.xx.707.1 they are not for the same region(?) and one will not flush over the other without Hard-SPL.
I'm trying to figure out the version coding. It looks, for example, that x.xx.831.1 is for Hong Kong.

that was a Chinese website and didn't described anything
I look at this package completely it was similar to any win 6.5 packages but added the new things such as xna and .... ( the app that microsoft told they will come on wp7 ) So it should be a WP7 package

Yeah it's a selfsigned certificate as it's my own server. But you should be able to just continue anyway, right? In chrome you usually get two option where one of them is to accept the self-signed certificate? The reason is that I only use https but I can't affort a paid certificate.

1GB that is normal for Huawei stock firmware. Instruction for the installation is in the archive. There has a doc file with detailed instruction.

Yes, that's the address I normally see. I just tried to download the rom I got last Friday with no security msg and now I get the same msg, it's that the cert valid date has now expired. So it is probably nothing to worry about.
Let's hope they fix it before tomorrow or there will be a lot more querying this

What happens if flashed to a non-Samsung eMMC device?

It won't brick the Lumia, size of partition is slightly different in every eMMC from other OEMs so missing baits will stop WPI from carry on.

There are two WiFi settings pages in Windows 10 Mobile 1703+. One is visible, the second is hidden and can be started from Interop Tools Applications menu.
The tweak 'static IP' works only with the hidden page.
