[Minor Fix ]Camera toggle button , out of frame - Micromax Canvas A1

I see that the camera toggle button is not fully visible.. Its out of frame..
Am I the only person to face this
Edit : 1. change the resolution to 4:3 i.e 1.9 mp.. It appears just fine .. Wch means you got to sacrifice 0.5 mp of front cam.
or
2. simply turn off manual exposure .

Same problem exist in all android one

That's a common issue in all android one mobiles. Even i have noticed it but i turned manual exposure off as i don't use it often.

Camera Setting

I found in few threads people talking about adjusting the exposure etc. I searched found an article http://www.whatmobile.net/2011/03/sony-ericsson-xperia-arc-review-part-1/
They says in our camera we have
The still image controls are:
Capturing Mode (Normal, Scene Recognition and Smile Detection)
Resolution (8MP for 4:3 and 6MP for 16:9, plus 2MP for 4:3 or 16:9)
Touch Capture (On/Off) for pressing on the screen to take a photo
Scenes (Off, Landscape, Night Portrait, Sports, Document, Portrait, Night Scene, Beach & Snow, Party)
Flash (Auto, Off, Fill Flash, Red-eye Reduction) – no more advanced menu to turn the light on or off!
Self-timer (10 Seconds, 2 Seconds)
Focus Mode (Single autofocus, Macro, Infinity, Multi autofocus, Face Detection, Touch Focus)
Exposure Value (+/- 2)
White Balance (Auto, Incandescent, Fluorescent, Daylight, Cloudy)
Metering (Centre, Spot, Average)
Image Stabiliser (On/Off)
Geotagging (On/Off)
Shutter Sound (1, 2, 3, Off)
But I only have Capturing mode, resolution, touch capture, self timer, flash, geotagging and shutter sound. How to get the rest of the options??
Thanks in advance
By pressing the menu button, or dragging the on screen controls to expand to the full set. Once you have all on screen, you can drag them around so that the 5 most useful to you remain once the controls are minimized.

tried that but didn't work
There is no Exposure Value, Metering, Image Stabilise or Scenes
Go to Capturing Mode and set it to "Norma" and NOT Smile detection or auto
And then u have all the settings..
Hope that works..
how about this? change to your Capturing mode to 'Normal' instead of 'Scene recognition'? the options u mentioned that u got seem to be Scene recognition one..

edit: repeated post, someone answered the question already..
Thanks Mate .. Now I can see it.

On the latest 4.0.A.2.368 build from July (I think) it also zoom on the 6M and the 8M mode.
Yaeh 4.0.A.2.368 added support for zoom for all resolutions but only in Photo mode..
Not for video mode yet
Old Builds have Shutter Sounds Off?
on .368 it does not have that setting
the zoom is just digital zoom so better avoid using it.

Does on UK Generic.
From my phone to your eyes.
Some countries it is illegal to take photo without Shutter sound and that small orange flash.. Maybe SE localised firmware tries to keep in line with country rules and doesn't allow you to disable.. Just a guess..
Mine shutter sound is also off. I'm on .368 on Generic Global.

Anyone experienced with the camera?

What are the best settings to make a photo of a close object?
For example I want to make a picture of my eye close-up but it always turns out blurry, what should I set the settings like?
Hello, i also tested some "macro" photos.
First make sure you are on "macro" mode.
You should have a flower on the left bottom of the screen.
Then, don't put your "target" too near of the phone lense.
There is a limit distance.
I think almost 5 or 6 centimeters ( 2 inches i think ) is the best you can achieve.
Nearer, the phone just won't make the focus and the image will stay blurry ...
Make sure you get the higher resolution, use 4:3 size, and crop the image after.
And do not use the zoom function or the flash !!! Use external light ...
The only "big" problem is to get the focus at short distance ...
And the fact there are no physical button to shoot is another problem
if you want to take your own eye ... other apps can make it simplier ( ShotControl for example ... ).

I have found this Macro feature on Vignette but I am absolutely lost on the stock Camera application on Sense.

Macro shooting can be found pressing the 'A' on the top left corner of the camera interface (portrait mode).

It's bottom left on mine ... ( Edit : Sorry it's in landscape mode ... ).
By default it's on A (Auto).

Camera question/problem

Hi,
I'm having two problems with this phone's camera:
1. Color problem - there is too much red on every pic is made, well at least on phone screen
2. Autofocus problem - even when I tap screen on place where I want it to be focused and making photos outside with good light, almost all photos aren't sharp
what can I do about that? Can I change camera software?

Rear camera too dark

Anyone else find the rear camera almost pitch black compared to front camera? I've changed various settings but it doesn't go any brighter.

Most units have the dark camera. Some have a brighter camera.
The best you can do is adjust the exposure setting.
I just posted in another thread that I had this issue, even adjusting all the setting makes very little difference when using the camera in video mode, picture mode is fine though, no issues with darkness etc.

Sorry I didn't see your thread, yes I have exactly same problem in video mode being darker than camera mode with the rear camera no issue with front one though, my bad I should of stated which mode it was in.
Don't know about the dark only in video mode issue.
What I've seen is most cameras look find in bright rooms, but in dimly lit rooms, everything is very dark. I just figured this was normal for this level camera, but then I saw a unit that was able to have the same image my eye could see, rather than being so dark it was hard to make out details.
That's when I came to the concusion there are different cameras or the same camera with different variances.
I could adjust the exposure in the dark camera to the highest level and get about 75% of the brightness of the bright camera, but never as bright. By bright, I just mean you can make out the details in the scene.
It seems to be more of bug though because it's also doing it on sphere & panoramic modes too, it's like it's automatically setting the exposure to -2 when your under unnatural light. The setting shouldn't be any different to camera still mode as all it does is stitch multiple stills together.

I went back and tested my camera in more depth.
When I turn on video mode, it ignores any exposure setting. Is it possible you have exposure turned up (not necessarily by your own doing) in the camera mode and when you switch to video, it doesn't honor the exposure?
Basically what I'm asking is, rather than video mode being dark, is it possible video mode is "normal", ie no adjustments to exposure, and camera mode has exposure upped up, possibly some change/fix that was made to account for an overly dark camera?
I know this makes no "effective" difference to you, but might explain why it behaves differently in camera and video/stitch/etc. mode.
Sometimes it also goes redish dark in picture / still mode too but that can be fixed by pressing home and then returning to it via recents, you can hear the shutter or lens reset.
4.4 gives a slight improvement, it's lighter now hopefully with another tweaked update it'll be fixed.

Abnormal colors on selfie camera in low light

Hey
So I bought the phone (Note10+ 5G) about 3 days ago and everything was working fine even the selfie cam
But today when I changed live focus effect everything get ruined especially in low light
In the viewfinder there is a color flicker and a part of the screen changes to green or red effect
And everything get worse in video
Here is a 2sec sample in low light:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-3bzKBjWNgb2OtRRSEwcwiGFniwd5d9b/view?usp=drivesdk
So what is wrong here?
edit / nevermind, watched the video and do not understand your problem...
live focus ? color flicker?
In live focus the effect green/red exists as part of the background effect. Your video does not show anything since there is nothing to focus on. You need a face for it to show anything correctly.
And you can change the live focus effect at the bottom of the screen, you have several icons for this and the far right icon is the red/green thingy.
If you cannot manage to get the settings right, just reset the camera (settings -> scroll down to initialize parameters).
Also, do not activate HDR+ for videos (available for 1920x1080 30p). This option is in beta and is buggy with many colour artefacts.
he's trying to take **** pics in the dark. doesnt like the out come. he thinks filters can correct small penis syndrome.
