why the HW V decoder is not working just fine , when i play a video with SW audio in mx player n foreword it lagg a bit n the go to play , it happen in every AOSP rom (not touchWiz rom) as well the screen recorder.

I have this problem as well, really annoying. Major problem for me and the main reason I returned to TouchWiz.

By any chance is your USB cable broken? Try a different one. I too faced this once - changing the cable helped.

Flashed the PA 4.6 beta 4 and the ROM is super laggy....even swiping through the home screens!!! what is the problem??

You can change that in this build too. Just go to Settings> Backup and reset> Reset preferences

Try unchecking the dynamic status bar option in the settings.
i was having dirty unicorn rom and
i try to install PA 4.6 so i download pa_n7000-4.6-BETA5-20141022.zip and pa_gapps-stock-4.4.4-20141121-signed.zip
first thing i roboted to recovery then factory reseting , installed the rom zip and robot to setup gapps
but it stuck after the sumsung logo !!!!
what i can do ???

Dont worry, this rom is very fast and has the same bugs as my CM9 rom, apart from the browser issue.

Ye i found that out last night, ill change the browser for version 1.1, in the meantime just download another browser
New version should be released tomorrow thanks to dudeman1996 building from paranoid android source
Includes major bug fixes, tablet mode works!
PA is now at version 1.6a, this version that has been uploaded is v1.4 so it should be a lot better

Good question. There aren't any real updates to be had with this, so all that's left is to speed tweak it, which has pretty much been done already. You can look into porting from the wildfire s and see if they have anything more than this.

No chance to fix browser, GPS and bluetooth?
I've been having this problem recently where if I play a song in Google music and then navigate away from the now playing page, and then skip to the next song either with the launcher widget or the notification tray widget, the UI in the now playing screen basically doesn't work. It looks like this:

The scrubber can't be used and the song information is all blank until you load another song from within the app.
Is this happening to everyone else or just me? Just flashed the latest official CM10 nightly after coming off of Paranoid Android, where I had the same problem. Maybe it's a CM10 problem?

Before I had an Aosp rom (4.1.1), then I switched to CM10 and I found this problem. I installed another version and the problem has been solved

I'd also be interested in knowing what the different/source of this APK is -- care to shed some light:?
Uninstall and reinstall from Play Store... It will sort out any issues.
Following up -- I had uninstalled and reinstalled Play Music with no luck.
In reading the CM boards, I saw a suggestion to disable Apollo -- It worked! (required a reboot to kick in, tho).
I know it's not much help, but I'm running cm-10-20121018 and I'm unable to reproduce the issue, even with Apollo still enabled.

From the app drawer long press the icon for Apollo
Drag it to the "Application Info" section visible on the desktop
I cleared data, and selected 'Disable Application'
After doing this, I found the same behavior, do a reboot to make sure we're on the up & up
Hopefully solved!

great, I would love to have these mod/themes:
inverted apps (not just gapps, if possibile, also some others like facebook, twitter, dropbox, and so on)
long press menu softkey to kill foreground app (instead of back key, useful to control the multiwindows bar)
customizable toggle and status bar (color, trasparence, icons, clock, and so on...)
customizable lock screen

After have tested the rom, I have something more to ask:
a way to see the "R" of roaming near the signal icon on the status bar
a toggle for data connection that works properly
long press menu to kill the app in foreground
Then, of course, inverted apps would be appreciated
In my last post I had written some crappy things because I didn't actually try the rom.
Now that I have seen how is amazing the smoothness, and the battery life, I can see that, with the improvements above, it would be PERFECT.

Overview
There are two 4.4.2 codebases right now in existence, one for V5 and one for V6; this one is based on V6..
I mean, this phone is pretty similar resource-wise to the firmware this came from. the resolution should probably be fine but I'll need feedback in every regard since this is really experimental

This shares the same codebase as the firmware it came from and everything should be function with connectivity and stuff; but I'll need ADB logs of any error if possible.
This is JFLTE multibase and should work fine on any of the S4 models that fall under that umbrella.

ui is looks good but resolution wide then screen
status bar issue
portrait view icons small landscape view icons look similar to another rom
no themes
on screen keys not needed no light in soft keys
setting menu splits not looks good
finally this rom looks like tablet ui and needed rework
anyhow overall i like this rom but needed to fix UI resolution

It really does look super nice, but it is not yet ready for a daily use. (a warning to those who want to try too ^^)
I tried to change the DPI to 320 (all elements look well), and also 400 (everything fits in the notif panel), but both gave me a FC wich would not let me go to the Home screen which is why I could not test out more with those DPI numbers.
Can the DPI change have made that FC (settings) ?

I have no idea if this has been asked before but google music has issues with playback. If I select a song it shows that its playing however I have no sound in the headphones. I have been having this issue for all the editions of the rom so I don't know if I am doing anything wrong as I have to mess around with it to get it to work. It is very hit and miss

Try to activate the awesome player from development option.
Boot stuck at "starting apps" - RR 5.5.5
I tried to build RR 5.5.5 and I was able to build with no issues.
But, after flashing and rebooting, the mobile get stuck with "Starting apps . . ." screen.
Can anyone help? I have tried both RR frameworks/native and frameworks/av and also CM repos with same result.

Audio hmmm i try to check i test the call and proximate sensor but some times crazy thing happen on proximate sensor .. Try to use the latest build October 1
