Kernel flashing trouble
Hi..
I am new to xda.
I installed v4.4 mr luong yesterday .
But whichever kernel i tried to flash, i got bootloop.
It did not even go past the n7100 logo screen.
Not even the samsung logo screen came up.
Nadia, agni, phoenix all gave the same results.
What could be the problem?
Also i noticed the bootloader to be nd1..

1- which AGNi version did you flashed? V4.2.5 or v4.2.5 -NG4....?( V4.2.5 -NG4 is recommended for the newest FW).
2- Did you flashed the blobs fix (upgrade GPU Mali driver for device) ?
3- I heard somewhere out there, some peoples said the v4.2.5 -NG4 hasn't compatible with the NI1(the latest FW till now). I haven't time to test the V4.2.5 - NG4 AGNi kernel, so you can try to flash the NG4's version /flash the blobs fix....hope it's work.

Where can I find that ? I found a mod in Themes section but it says this mod is for 4.3 firmwares, so I didnt try :-/

You can try it ( the mod you has been founded) on v4.4, nandroid backup the current rom first then flash. It's might work mate.

I installed all version of angi,nadia and even stock kernel for that matter.
No type of kernel installation is working.
it works perfectly on stock setting.
but when i try to install any kernel,it gets stuck..

Try the newest version of Agni v4.2.9 and Blobs fix, I've a tested yesterday and it's fine as usual.
V4.2.9 you can download on kernel main thread. Blobs fix you can download this one,it's worked fine on mine:

Download this InCallUI.apk then replace on to system / app via copy & paste ( overwrite ) through the older /reboot device. Let me know how's it work.

I'm using a different SystemUI.
2 variant of UI we got here: 1 is stock N2 modified and the 2nd is stock S5 modified with all the icons has been modified and they're look like as you saw. If you need these thing I can provide the link.

This is my first post, sorry about my ignorance but I tried to find a decent battery percentage over the internet without success, i found a mod but my status bar also changed, and i like the original interface.
Because of it i decided to mod by myself SystemUI.apk and i did it.
I have this rom :
NeatRom Lite 4.6.1
Probably will work only on NeatRom 4.6.1

I think these mod´s will work with another deodexed XWLSN variants, but i do not guarantee your old mods will remain cause i doesn´t touch anything but only the battery images.

I would like to report a bug.
As seen on the screenshots, the percentage inside the green circle does not match the one we see when "Display battery percentage" is enabled.
Can that be fixed?

I´ve found the problem, and i will try to fix it, but i do not guarantee it will work because some xml files (into apk file) can´t be edited because resources.arsc maybe have a checksum/database or another files and i dont have any idea how i can edit that but i do not give up and i will do my best.
I´m not a developer, i just want to help people like me, because the original battery images sucks...
I prefer to edit original firmwares by myself

I put a new working two files.
One of these files can be flashed by clockworkmod

I put a 8 new battery mod´s flashable by Clockworkmod.
Hope you can enjoy.
People, i dont know why but all of my mods doesn´t work anymore.
I´ve flashed a stock rom and the mods doesnt work.
Tomorrow i will see it.
I do now guarantee if my mods will work, try of your own risk.

Hi, I can confirm that. I tried flashing the green circle battery mod through CWM and got an error message saying that "SystemUI could not be found"...

Maybe is better to update your rom to NeatRom 4.6.1, it´s a great rom, pratically untouched, only deodexed i think.
I really recommend it for you.

Hi balliboxer, I´m using your 4.1.2 rom for Galaxy Grand Duos i9082L but i´m in trouble with external2internal...
In fact I dont want to use this feature but i think they already mess up with my partitions, can you send me some link or topic showing how I can disable or revert it to original state ?

Sorry man. XDA forums is very selective and i can´t allow me to communicate openly on forums I need (i9082 for example I tried.) And luckily I found balliboxer on this thread, and is not available on other channels (facebook page for him is down for example).

Also in screenshots, only sim 1 is shown.
So sim2 network bars are themed or not ??

Hello, I searched alot for a multi window mode that works on i9100 XWLSW jelly bean version.
I found a cool mod (you may probably know it) here on XDA that also has Ripple Lock Screen and more additions. The problem is that is for deodexed and not for my stock XWLSW.
Could you please give me a mod (like that but just multi window is also enough if you can't find ripple) that is for the stock rom I have?
use neatrom lite by sale .. it has both multiwindow and ripple effect working
here's the link .. its just a modified version of stockrom so you won't find all the mods and themes you find in the latest verion of neatrom lite : the version is v4.6.1 and - http://d-h.st/JoL

That's cool If you want the stability of stock rom though, but would like all the goodies that come with having a custom rom, Xsposed Installer is the mutz nutz! It allows you to customise your rom like it's custom anyhowz!!

I installed it once when I had CM 10.1.3 . I am probably going to install it on the stock rom.
By the way, Do you know some cool modules that also support stock jelly bean 4.1.2 with Touchwiz?

Nice! I will take a look of these, I really want a module that allows widgets on touchwiz lockscreen (there is, but for android 4.2). I saw you have AOSP lockscreen module. I will probably try it too. I am looking for modules with cool features.
I wanted to use Tinted Status Bar, but it looks bad with the touchwiz status bar icons, I see you have some modules that allow changing icons, I will try that. Thanks.

My point exactly "DEODEXED"!! OP has "ODEXED" rom, & perhaps he doesn't want to flash a "DEODEXED" stock rom just to have these tweaks!!

Just thought I'd let you know, I flashed the V2.4 STOCK THEMED LSD ODEXED, as you said it had the same framework & sui as XWLSW! & for your information I got soft brick & wouldn't boot past splashscreen! :good:
As you already stated, you flashed it on deodexed firmware, & although it may have worked for you, it doesn't help people when you just post a link to mods that can soft brick if you don't know what you're doing! :cyclops:
& YES I did nandroid/wipe cache/wipe dalvik cache, before you ask, because I know to do this! (not everybody does!!)

i have no problem at first, yet after several reboot, i had the same problem with you..
the ROM is kinda unstable, CM wallpaper always stopped responding, and any other bugs that I can't remember..
notification toggle kinda doesn't have a "theme"..
the only thing I'm happy about this ROM is I have other reference for my bloatwares list..
at that download link, I got confuse because there are two 'similar' file with different link, I dunno, maybe there's another version such as S6810 and S6810P.. what I downloaded was S6810P while my HH is S6810..
anyway, thank you for building this ROM, although maybe I'm not going to use this one..

Instructions:
1.Copy the rom and all other zips to your sd card
2.Flash Fix-i9300i-RIL.zip
3. Flash fix_key.zip
4. Wipe data/factory Reset
5.The first boot takes about 15-20 minutes
For GT-i9301i, copy the folder s3ve3g to the parent folder and flash the rom. The folder should look like:
