No, it did not work. The update stuck at 98% and then it failed to update.
I'd to flash the recovery (I used TWRP) and then I copied the stock ROM in an USB Storage.
Then flashed the STOCK ROM using USB OTG option in TWRP :good:
@thedevilashish you may update the OP with this information

May be u should flash the fastboot rom...If this process doesn't work

Bro you should add one more step in your instruction.
Wipe & factory reset after flashing stock recovery and then install stock ROM.

So this will install MIUI's stock recovery and delete TWRP right?

Stock Recovery Zip is unavailable
but I found this on the internet.
http://uppit.com/zh0tmkk1twzi/signed_stock_recovery_update.zip

I had the twrp backup of stock miui rom which is rooted with supersu so i successfully restored it.Now i got a ota update so can i flash stock recovery and accept the ota update and also let me know if it will remove root or not??

might be a bad zip. have you tried re-downloading the rom and flashing?
What you have to do (which the guide doesn't cover IMO)
1. After flashing the 1.54.401.5 FW, you then have to boot into the stock recovery and do a factory reset to re-align the partitions
2. Then flash TWRP and once in TWRP, do a full factory reset of all partitions
3. Then use adb push to push the Sense ROM to the phone (adb push rom.zip /sdcard)
4. Flash the Sense ROM
5. Flash the 1.54.401.10 FW if the ROM is based on that build
6. Reboot
I do that if coming back from the GPe RUU conversion and it works fine

Which steps should I start? I got stuck on step 4, which gave me the error. But I adb sideload Sinless ROM and it worked. However, I still can't flash new ROMs, only adb sideload

I have compiled a CLEAN completely unmodified FTF for C6902.
Yes, it does include all original system languages, as this is the Stock Firmware.
Download
When you install, allow ~5 minutes for first boot to fully install.
For Recovery & Root:
- Boot in flashmode and flash either of these images #1 or #2 (The one I used)
--For #1 use the command
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-z1-2860.img
--For #2 you must extract the boot.img from the .zip and move it alongside the fastboot.exe file
--For #2 use the command
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
- Put this into your SD card.
- Boot into Recovery and wipe cache/dalvik (recommended but optional), and flash SuperSU zip file.
- Do NOT reboot, and then flash [NUT]'s XZDRecovery Flashable ZIP Z1-lockeddualrecovery2.8.12-RELEASE.flashable.zip
- Now reboot, and enjoy root! (Rhyme unintended)

Use flashfire from chainfire
( Flashfire doesnt work if you donot have proper root )
No twrp/cwm or any other custom recovery required.
All you need to have is the zip file, root permission and flashfire.

One user has confirmed that it LOCKs bootloader.
Flashing Log firmware using Flashy Flasher, EMUI9 Flasher or Cache command method will LOCK your phone's Bootloader.

Updating OTA after TWRP install

Hi all, i have unlocked the bootloader of my Note 8T and installed the latest TWRP, i was going to install xiaomi.eu ROM, but sadly things has gone "bad", when i try to format, it fails, giving me a lot of red errors lines, ending with Operation not permitted, so i stopped there and flashed back the stock MIUI ROM through Xiaomi Flash Tool. Now since the issues with TWRP, I'm wondering how can i update when i will receive new updates via OTA? I think i wouldn't be able to do that with TWRP since the errors it gives me just formating. You guys think i would be able to update by downloading the fastboot update and flash it through Mi Flash Tool?
MichaelMay said:
You'll recieve new OTA updates, the recovery (TWRP before, stock now) has been replaced completely and TWRP is no longer your recovery.
I know what the initial problem is as well, you need another TWRP and if you had just read the forums you'd already know that and all of this could have been avoided.

I'm sorry, but i've used the latest TWRP for Ginkgo/Willow as xiaomi.eu requires. Also i've read of other users trying others recovery and encountering the same issue anyway.
You try this way https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ion-errors-all-the-time.4203951/post-84523785

So flashing this Miui HellasTWR recovery should fix the issue? I can flash it through fastboot, or i have to flash it by the recovery (TWRP in my case) as shown on the video? Thanks for your help.
Me too but still OTA the latest version of miui eu 24-2-2021

I did and ran out of red error line by this flash Miui HellasTWRP recovery -> HellasTWRP will ask for password (lock screen password), data will be decoded and now you can install custom rom according to Conventional way (4 wipe).
Note that updates only via twrp are not available via OTA

So MIUI HellasTWRP Recovery is the cure for the issue? That's Nice! I'm going to try again then. A little question, did you flash the HellasTWRP through fastboot adb mode? Thanks for letting me know!
Yes, flash by adb mode
