Tomorrow: First time Root/Cyan flash, want to make sure all steps are correct..
How's it going guys.
As my title suggests; tomorrow will be the first time I try root and Cyanogenmod on my [Verizon] Note 2.
I just wanted to make sure I have all steps correct atm.
I'm following 2 seperate guides I've found; both on these boards.
First..
Backup my stock apps, messages and such with G-Cloud Backup;
root.
Cyan
Once the phone actually starts; then I download Play Store along with Apps, at that point I download all of my backed up information...?
Correct...?

Hello, I'm have been using CM11 on my samsung note 2 n7100 for the past few weeks without problem. Everything works as it should be. However, when i woke up this morning, the transparency of the app menu and the google search box on the home screen (as shown in the attachments) are not there anymore. Is there a way to change it to normal?

Insufficient storage available
hello
I just flashed this ROM on my girlfriends Ace II (rooted, stock JB) but now I can't install almost any new app (facebook, etc). It gives me "Insufficient storage available".
Checked the storage and it has around 170Mb free internal storage space (in addition to another "internal storage space that has around 900mb free).
Any suggestions?

Hi all, i have a question
i have samsung galaxy ace 2 with Jellybean stockrom without root or else, it's pure jellybean stockrom. Now i want to install this rom (novafusion kitkat) on my device. Do i need to have cwm 6.xx or i can flash it using cmw 5xx? If i need to use cwm 6.xx, where can i download it? Because i only found cmw 6xx temporary for galaxy ace 2. I have cmw 6xx for my galaxy w, is it compatible or not?

-I have been trying out many ROMS the past couple of weeks. This ROM is my favorite!
-I needed "VivaVideo" for video (it works flawlessly) and "CamaraZOOM FX" for camera (it works most of the time). Another TIP on the camera. Remove any sub-folders under DCIM. This helped for sure.
-It is fast and stable.
-Battery runs down by midday, but that might be simply because I am on it more.

I have one outstanding issue... When I go to "Settings", "Candy Interface" and then "Buttons" I get "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped".
Anyone having the same issue and if so, how do I fix it?

MY galaxy s2 t mobile version not charging after flashing carbon rom
i was running android 4.0.4ics stock and it was charging fine, but recently i flashed this custom rom and my galaxy s2 is now on android 4.4kk, but i noticed that my phone is no longer charging. once i plug in my charger, it will display charging for some few seconds and then it will stop and remain that way. even when i switch off, and then plug the charger, the battery icon will be counting without actualy charging. but if i restore my android 4.0 stock backup, it will be charging fine. pls i need help.

Sprint Note 3 Locked No Wifi
I really wanted to put Hawkish Extreme on my Sprint Note 3, I followed everything as close as I possibly could. Once I rebooted my phone I got a message that my phone was locked and that I had to login to my Samsung Account to prove it was mine. The problem is I have no wifi, internet, my ip address is unavailable, so I can't get past this screen. I made a backup of my EFS but when I tried to restore it, it didn't fix it, I even did a rewipe of everything and installed Hawkish again, same problem. This was my first root and custom rom, I don't understand what happened. I am want to try to restore my phone with a stock firmware, but since I can't get past the lock screen, I'm not sure if USB Debugging will work, and if this will do more harm than good. Please help. :crying:
