As long as it supports your carrier's frequencies, then you should be cool. Other suave europeans have confirmed.

K, so im really confused..... When I flash the 10p TOT... the android version on the phone is 4.1.2 - I thought it's suppose to be 4.4.2? furthermore, when i have the phone search for updates while on 4.1.2, it says the phone is all the way updated. Why wont it find the AT&T updates? I want to get the phone back to the latest AT&T firmware.
Can install an international rom for F240 in a E980 AT&T device???
if it can be done, what rom i have to use?

Well i upgraded f240l to 5.0.1 but there is no video icon on homescreen and face unlock feature is gone did my upgrade went wrong or video icon is gone in update

i am from india and i have lg f240k .
i update it in lolipop via official update site.
so now my software version is f240k30d.
and my device is no more rooted.
my problem is about network.
my vodafone sim card service menu is shown in home.
but i cant access network.
everything work fine but network is not detected.
now,i want to downgrade it in kitkat.
but don't know how to do it.
previously i use kitkat sphinx 1.5 version.
which is very stable and all network work perfect.
but in lolipop network issue occured.
so,is it necessory to root device for downgrade it??
and how to root this lolipop version in f240k?

Any one knows if there will be android 5 for E986? I'm on kitkat (20A) and I have problem whit Bluetooth when I turn it on I cant see any devices and vice versa. Any one know how to fix this?

I have a F240K. I have upgraded to Lollipop through LG PC suite. After upgradation, when I press the power button, the display is not waking up. I have to press it for many number of times for the display to ON.
The phone is working, but only there is a big delay in the display waking up.
Also I am searching for a method to root the phone and downgrade to Android 4.4.2

I have an Optimus G F180L20S bought from Ebay.I have changed to english language in the settings and i have upgraded to 4.1.2 via OTA.
But still It has all Korean APPS and Korean language. I need help in Deleting the Korean preinstalled APPS and all the Korean Stuff if possible. Also while dialing a number without the country code, it asks call Korea or call Local. Iam new to this smart phone/Andriod.
1.Please help me how to make everything in Englisg with out korean APPS.

Why you people buy korean phones?it's stated very clear,E975 is the international version,F180 is the koren model. You could try to flash an e975 stock rom on it...but it may be possible to break lte connection.

Well I have flashed E975 10C rom. now the phone works ok. (so far not rooted the phone). But I feel the signal strength is little bit lesser.
Some times for few seconds there is no signal itself.
Also i have enabled (phone allowed) GSM/WCDMA/LTE in the mobile network. But iam getting only "E" edge in the network type always.
After the changing the stock rom. how to find the LTE bands. is there any method.
If as u say the LTE connection is brokedn how to restore the same back to normal

Hi! I just happen to update my LGOG F180K to E975 using KDZ updater. If you do this, you must also flash the baseband for it. But problem is, as for me, the message sending is a headache. You can try at your own risk.

Well Thanks for the thread.
Everybody says update KDZ and also must then Flash Baseband. Noone gives the procedure to flash kdz then flash baseband.
My original model is F180L20S.
I have tried to root the phone but i couldnt do so yet.
I am back to F180L20S from e975 coz when in e975 there was no signal and everytime it shows network type unknown.
Luckily i manged to put back f180l20s u+ LTE put the language to english and managing. now its working. my mobile network setup shows 3g/4g data only not the conventional gsm/wcdma/lte etc.
will i get 4G network.

Hi, I want to root my G3, however, my phone came stock with Lollipop.
I went through the KDZ firmware IMEI tool to get me to my firmware but even that is Lollipop based. What else can I do? The file was named 'D85520C_00.kdz'. What firmware can I use instead? I get the following information:

Download the V10K KitKat KDZ for SEA/HUB from here http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=41 under the Singapore section
Using a firmware from another region wont brick it so long as its for D855 but there will be compatibility issues since SEA/HUB firmwares were specifically designed for users in Singapore
Please Note 6SEA/HUB is for the 16GB Variant and SEA/HUB is for the 32GB variant so please distinguish carefully before installing

Just wanted to say your posts from almost 4 months ago has saved me... :good::good::good::good: Just got a SEA D855 and have been looking EVERYWHERE for a while for the kdz so I can install TWRP (cannot be done on Lollipop).
Was wondering though - if I live in Australia (for example) would it make sense to change regions? Are there any adverse affects?

Theres no visible adverse effects
But ive noticed that after installing the v20e from Taiwan on my Vodafone D855 it would have really bad battery so i dont know whether or not it was a problem with v20e that time or something else
At this time im running Non branded V20H on my Vodafone D855 since Vodafone take forever to release updates

I have a column for "mirrors" in the spreadsheet but not sure if I plan on using that. Perhaps people can just share any mirrors in here. Tag your post with #KDZHERE along with the phone model so it will be easy to search the thread for it.

Hello to all,
I have a problem with my LG G4. I bought it with my mobile operator SFR.
I tried to flash a stock rom (without personnalisation), the 815 10C. After a reboot, i got the warning "current version is not available for user. Cant' find matched cust for NT-code mcc/mnc [20810], subset[FF]."
Last but not least, after my first reboot, more than twenty apps like "vodafone XX" "SFR xxx" was installed ! Worst than before...
So i look for a stock ROM .kdz, based from the SFR rom Stock.
If someone has someting like this, i'll be very happy
Edit: can't unlock bootloader with this model, i already tried it...

Yes you can. I flashed my H818 bought in China with the H818N KDZ and it worked. The only problem I found after the flash was, after boot, you'll get a warning that says "Current version is not available for user. Can't find matches cust for nt-code mcc/mnc[ ], subset[ ]"
Just ignore the warning and the phone works fine. You can't get OTA updates with this error though. Not sure how to fix this yet.

My LG G7 is running Android 10. It shows itself as G710AWM while its IMEI shows it is a T-Mobile device (checked by IMEI.INFO). Now I need to know is my G7 a T-Mobile but has been flashed Canadian ROM, or is it a real Canadian device? And what steps should I do if I want to convert it to Korea ROM?
