every rom is bad rom for REDMI if using the default overclocked CPU and mpdecision enabled.
MIUIv5 ( android v4.3 / update v45 ) addressed this issue and fixed RAM management & CPU freq. max less than 1.2Gz
You can install any rom (root it ) and get a good battery backup, by installing either ( performance Control / SetCPU / nofrills CPU ) and trickster mod for kernel..
Having said that keep the charged phone overnight to observe the idle battery drain and 1hr of a specific app running to see busy battery drain.
This will give you better vitals to base your comparison. LCD Screen brightness is also a key factor.
Find a rom and then stick to it for atleast a week ( 3-4 battery cycles ) before passing a judgement on its battery consumption bahavior.

For now this (unofficial) is the only ROM which offer the native option to install on SDcard even if is not working at all apps.

Which button don't work. For me is just one: the network mode toggle button. The rest work flawlessly.

Almost none, been using mokee since many days (on single sim though).

How's battery backup and performance.
I use the sychost release because of the possibility to install app on sdcard. The release version is for the daily use because of stability.

Thanks for the suggestion, but i would rather keep the way it looks now.
Reasons:
1. It looks neat, cool and useful for newbies.
2. Keeping all the section in one post keeps the thread messy.
3. It would rather be difficult to update the thread when there is more development threads in single post.

The temporary solution for the YU Yureka heating problem is to switch the mode of phone from performance/balanced to battery saver mode. This reduces the continuous heating of the device

I had the same battery drain,heating issues and media server consuming 50+ % of my battery.
solution: back up your sd card, delete app data of media server from app settings,format your sd card, take it out,restart ur device and reinsert the sd card. my yu is working fine now

Just flashed with aroma gapps.
Google camera and default Snap Camera works fine.
Notification Tristate Slider works, but it doesnt show statusbar icons. Also, when we move slider from top or middle to bottom position, quicktile still "shows priority"only"

Lived it even when we were testing it and it was damn stable ... Now let's flash the official one!!!!

BTW Advice for all those flashing it, from my testing experience of it :-
1.) FLASH supersu 2.68 too, inbuilt one didn't work for me atleast.
2.) Best is to use it with Aroma GApps by OpenGapps.org and get a blazing fast pure nexus look Interface.
Also some tips :-
1.) Hardware button Swap isn't there, but infact even better, you can set actions for each hardware button separately.
2.) Coming from OxygenOS or older firmware ? Just clean flash the ROM. Firmware and everything else important things are already baked into the ROM. ]
3.) Don't flash Supersu 2.67 ... You won't be able to restore apps using Titanium Backup.

Ans. Yeah.
2.) You say slider is working, but I don't see it working ...
Ans. You will have to feel it working. You can't see as status bar icon doesn't change. To feel it, just change the slider position and call yourself and feel it.... [emoji14]

any news about it, how it is ?
I used it for a day. You won't need GravityBox, has the features inbuilt which can be accessed by sliding right from settings. Layers, Xposed etc everything works fine. Has content guard (piracy protection), 1st ROM in my usage. Couldn't install Lucky Patcher. A Xposed Module (One Plus forum) will probably help with that.
The kernel inbuilt is old. As the Wi-Fi turning on takes like 5 seconds & few more to find the Wi-Fi and CPU maximum frequency can't be changed.
The optimizing apps, reboot screens are different and look nice. The background blur when opening power menu is nice touch too.
Overall a feature rich ROM, one of the best with Layers.
Didn't stick as I was having slight less fluidness with the custom kernel (happens with some ROMs), but that's my usage.

It doesn't affect me but implementing this 'feature' on a ROM is like getting rid of users. Nobody would want a ROM with such limitation. Just sayin'

Custom recovery is enough
Ok, now testing the rom... Flashlight turn on always when installing apps or something else !!! Never have seen.
Other bad thing is the anti-piracy [emoji18]
Works the change between 2G/3G/4G ?
On others roms the change haven't effect.

After installing this rom on my F320S my phone's WiFi and Bluetooth has stopped working. I have restored my original backup as well as clean installed CloudyG2 3.3 but WiFi and Bluetooth are sill not working.
I can't flash my my phone with Stock firmware either it is stuck on 2%. At 2% it shows an error and flashing process stops. Can somebody please help me out here

Try to flash Google edition rom that has all inside (bootloader, partitioning, twrp). Maybe this will solve your issues
But i'm not sure if it's compatible with your variant...
Do you know where we can DD BackupGPT.img and PrimaryGPT.img to?

Uh, what good would checking the build.prop do? G2 doesn't have unified builds do they? (Maybe I'm wrong?)
