[Q] Download Booster - Sprint Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I heard that the Note 4 has Download Booster on it, but I haven't been able to find it yet. Anyone find it yet?

I was hoping for this feature too.
I also read that there is a feature to add a few second delay after you hit send in text message app which gives you a little window to cancel sending the text message but I couldn't find this feature either

The s5 had this, not sure about the note 4. It wouldn't really matter anyway tho, because the carriers strip it away

I think I saw an article that only T-Mobile will have the download booster on the note 4, all i found was a smart network switch, don't think it is anything like the download booster.

What does the auto connect to pass point networks option do? Is that networks like restaurants and stores with free WiFi where you have to sign in to accept their terms and conditions?
Edit: sorry for quoting your post I thought it showed it in your picture. But it is one of the options under the advanced tab.

The phone has it just like the S5 but it is hidden. If you use a third party launcher you can unlock it. Using Nova Launcher for example, you can go to your home screen and click add a shortcut > click activities > click settings > then scroll down and you should be able to find download Booster. You can then use that to enable download booster. But otherwise it will be hidden in your actual settings menu until a developer unlocks with a mod or something.

Worked for me

1. Go to home screen.
2. Hold down your finger on the screen till menu pops up.
3. Click on Shortcuts.
4. Click on Activities.
5. Scroll down to "Settings" and click on it which will open up a long list of things.
6. Scroll through the list till you find Download Booster. Click on it.
7. Now you will have a shortcut on your home screen that will take you to the download booster settings screen.
8. Enable download booster.
9. Enjoy

It's not gonna show up in your actual settings because it's hidden by default by your carrier. Some developer will have to make a mod to have it show up in your settings but now you'll just have to go through the shortcut you make yourself.

This seemed to keep WiFi on when screen was off. Probably uses more battery.

We need help from the people who actually unlocked it completely on the sprint S5 to unlock it on the note 4.

Thanks what a great tip.
Mr. Gaines Got His Note 4!

I suspect I may have gotten an update or something is blocking it. I do not see it at all in the list of activities from Nova launchers shortcut menus. Anyone else not see it?

Follow the instructions

I too was looking for it and it doesn't seem like its a feature for the Sprint version.

[Q] Popup Browser at any time, where to get it

I know I saw it somewhere but I cannot find it.
There is an app that can be added to the MultiWindow that will allow you to open a Popup browser at any time. Does anybody know what its called and where I can get it?

The icon is on my homescreen. Which means I need to exit an app I'm in, then go to my homescreen to open the pop-up browser.
Is there a way that it can be triggered inside the app I am using?
Oh I see what you mean....no there isnt a wsy ti bring it up like that with that application.
However I'm not saying there isn't another v app that does. ..I just don't know of one

You might consider wave launcher which allows you to open another app without first exiting an app. You have to do a swipe gesture from the edge of the screen to get the apps you would like to choose from.

there isn't a way to disable it. it's even like that in desktop browser. the best you can do on the desktop it set it to ask where to save each file. idk if you can do that on the mobile version but it'll still make a pop up every time you download something so it's not likely a solution you are looking for.

You are doing this from within an app. The home screen doesn't have settings.
Edit: OK you're apparently doing this from the phone app. Those quick replies have nothing to do with wear, they are the options you have when dismissing a call on the device.

There isn't an option to do this I'm aware of. Some SMS apps might do this but nothing for calls I've seen.

sadly it DID work the first time I edited the nesus messages.. the moto sent the edited message out.. the next day back to default messages. i talked to a motorola rep, she dug a bit and found an internal memo stating these messages were defaultand CAN NOT BE EDITED
This is a basic function here, this should be easily edited at any time. the fact that my unit did use the ones from the nexus 6 kinda tells me it read the nexus messages, then some update or internal setting over-road them......
this must be fixed there is NO reason why I shouldnt be able to use my custome responses....
Just tried to do precisely the same thing. Disappointed to find that changes to the stock quick responses on the N6 don't filter through to the Moto 360.

Fast Access (Advanced Floating Toolbox)

Hello guys, so finally i got the Galaxy s6 edge and i love it. awhile ago i have developed an application which is similar to Toolbox by samsung, but with Fast Access you can add infinite apps and apply themes and more advanced options, i have just yesterday released a Demo version of the application and added Mini-Size for the icons to use it within the edge of the screen, and its best if you use it with the Screen Edges option which will keep Fast Access always on one of the edges sides. you could give it try and help me improve it more on the edge.
Demo version: Fast Access Demo
PRO version Fast Access (Floating Toolbox)
please any suggestions or feedbacks will be really appreciated..

it'd be cool if you could make it go horizontal and vertical that'd be even better.. then one could use it without using actual dock icons if that makes sense.. sort of like the picture below:
