Can anyone tell me how to put my Note2 back to stock such that it is repaired under Samsung warranty?
My phone is rooted and has the Jellybam rom. Unfortunately Wifi and bluetooth function are not stable (sometimes on, sometims off; far from reliable).
Is there a manual for this? Please help!

Have you tried flashing back to stock to see if it's really the hardware at fault?
AOSP roms sometimes have problems with modules, and it's not uncommon to find out something doesn't work properly.
If it's really a hardware fault.
You need to use Triangle Away, reset the counter, flash stock rom... Data and cache wipe in stock recovery. Then flash stock once again to be truly out of the woods.

Hi thanks for responding. When I come to 'Now I have downloaded Triangle away by Chainfire installed and after installation completes it may ask you to download the data please download it via Wifi or Mobile Data.' and I launch Triangle Away it says I am not rooted...
Should my device be rooted again?
Please tell me how to proceed.

Another thought: could it be that since my wifi, bluetooth and gsm don't work I lost the EPS files? Is there any way to restore them (I don't have a backup).
I don't click into every single thread and read them. I don't know know about your other thread. You could at least link it.

My Note2 is fubar. It's ready for the thrashcan. No wifi, no gsm, no 3g no bluetooth, nothing. Try to make Triangle away work without internet (wifi) if you can, I can't.
I want to make it stock again so I can send it back under warranty. So either you provide a working tutorial or go on and be smart to someone else.
I checked off two solutions on my list of fixes, but you're too stuck up to read the rest.
Good luck with your Note 2, and I wasn't being smart at all. I try to help people as best as I can, but I can't mind read other people's threads they've started, and also be expected to check your "other" thread.
To start i belive my OS was deleted previous to the attempt to flash to stock.
Using L900PALJC md5 file from samsung-updates.com
Running odin3v3.07 as admin.
Drivers are uptodate
Com id is light blue in color

Are you able to get into your recovery? If so, from what I see here it should let you into the stock recovery. If you get something different or nothing at all let me know. Have you tried flashing back to stock with any other files (i.e. something provided here on XDA, or an older file on the Samsung website)? I've run into issues with ASUS post bad software on their site when trying to return to stock. May I ask why you are flashing back to stock? You said that you believe your OS was deleted? I may have some links I can pass on to you to help you find what you need, but a bit more information would help. I looked on the Verizon NII forums and have seen a few people with similar issues.

I have not tried flash to stock with any other files, i did attempt to flash the CF Auto root file becuase i was at a lose. I tried that yesterday morning the result i got was loosing my twrp recovery and binary count up to two. I deleted my os while tring to flash macksrom v5 2 weeks ago. I was attempting to flash to stock in effort to reclaim my OS. I would like end game to be macksrom v5. Previous to deleting os, 2 months ago i tried flashing macksrom planejane to no avali, using files from diffrent locations but all seem to be unable to unzip. The only successfull in flashing was a perseus kernle.

Try pushing TWRP to your phone using ODIN. From there you can try putting that ROM on your phone. I would try a different ROM first just to see if you are able to flash anything.

Are you new to modding phones? Not trying to sound rude, you just seem a little confused is all. When we say we are flashing a "ROM" we mean we are installing a different OS on the phone. It all depends on what you are looking for. If you want something smooth and close to original android, you could try Cyanogen mod, AOKP, Liquid smooth and a few others. If you want one that is a modded stock ROM (one advantage there is that you will still have access to all of the Samsung Applications for the S-Pen, though there are plenty of suitable replacements for these) you could try something like Synergy... Not sure what all else there is as it has been a while since I've tried out different ROMs. What all are you looking for in a ROM?

ok so yes i was trying to root and flash to verizon. bought the phone on craigslist. it had a bad esn so i decided to flash it. I rooted it and installed twrp just fine. being a dumb @$$ took hold of me and i decided to partition and format the phone. in the end I bricked it. so i through the phone into download mode. and tried to use the custom LJC rom. (no dice). so I tried the VZW variant. (failed at cache). So I tried to replace the the stock rom. got down to sboot.bin and failed. it turns out the bootloaders get locked so i cant use a boot image to recover. in the process of replacing with stock i deleted twrp. unintentionally. so no more twrp. so i found a thread that had a stock rom that doesnt use sboot.bin. fails at cache every time. I have tried everything I know to do and there isnt much on the note 2 yet. so im looking for answers. I feel as if im close but im just missing something. if i could find a combination kies file with no sboot.bin for SPH-L900 it may work. I dont know how to compile it myself or i would so here I am. any help would be appreciative.

Download one of my zips here and put it on your micro sd card. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2086769
Then
Place the phone in download mode and flash this in PDA slot. http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23060877490001700
It will get you into twrp recovery. From there factory reset and flash the zip you downloaded from the first link

OMG thanks man your a life saver 3 weeks of hell and headaches are over. IF I could paid you for this i would have....not to mention i checked the ESN on swappa and sprint must have cleared it for usage so dont need to flash it anymore.....thanks a million :good::laugh::highfive::victory::cyclops:

Yes, i am green. i liked what i saw with macksrom bloat remove, tether, mutilwindow mod, volume boost. i will look into synergy thx.

I am trying to take my Boost Mobile S3 and flash it to my Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I use to have the note 2 flashed with my old donor (Boost Mobile Incognito)... I LOVE the Note 2 but hated that I could only get 3g. I love the 4G on my S3 (night and day difference). I am green but I am getting pretty savoy from all the info I get here. And I read, read and then read some more... I miss my note 2.. Easy on the eyes! lol... I love the bigger screen and the s-pen feature, Simply put, after reading your thread here, I was so impressed with your knowledge that I thought I'd ask you for your help. I just want to use the S3 as a donor. How to I donor the S3? What programs do you suggest to use to read the info on the S3 and write (flash) to the Note 2? I9505 or I9500. because we can only install roms from the i9505. if you happened to install i9500 rom, your lucky your not bricked. Also, if you went completely back to official stock and sound still doesnt work, your probably screwed. Of course this is assuming you flashed a i9500 rom like you said, not a i9505.
if you dont know which you flashed, post a link to the rom

ah, well im assuming you just flashed a stock rom, and didnt use odin to go completely stock without root or custom recovery. you should do that, theres an odin tar floating around in the forums somewhere you can use. of course by doing this you will have to root your device again.

Hi.I have a similar problem and I was not able to solve it, though, and asked the question here. Phone works fine, gps, internet, photo, plays video but no sound. Hello new to the forums. I have been rattled once again by the s3. Finally a problem I haven't really found too many solutions to and plus don't want to increase my chance of completely destroying my phone. Now. I have a Virgin Mobile phone in the US. Was on 4.1.2 but to flash to cricket I was trying to downgrade down to 4.0.4 from JB to ICS. Pretty much during this process not doing my homework I used odin and put the phone in download mode and figured oh Sprints rom should work since SPH-L710 is the same model and completely being wrong. I have been searching around google because I am soft bricked. Here is my assumption of soft brick. When Odin finishes the screen goes red stating the recovery files cannot be found and it wont read my sd card. Still able to go to download mode but not reboot mode. Hence, Soft Brick. Been trying to get out and recently took off a sticker seeing C-Spire. Now I remember seeing this while I was reading my XDA forums so I figured why not. Found some youtube videos googled and fond J7 for C-Spire. So close, but the link didn't exist or something. So... My conclusion finally made an account and finally asking for help the correct way. Please provide links and comments to help me out here would love this s3 back on track. Hope I followed the rules. I did honestly search the forums one had c-spire, but link was dead. My luck man. Any good ROMs for the s3 C-Spire SPH-L710? For Example, Would love to use that multi-window with anything and I tried pacman not loving the whole ics not using the home button preferably JB I think which is stock whatever is stock. I loved the XMT launcher and the whole PIE thing. Just let me know guys. Ahead Apologies for the noob questions if they are.

I don't have the c-spire, but once you flash the stock rom from the earlier post, you should be able to root and set yourself up with XMT and pie controls on the stock rom. They are stand alones and you can add them yourself, without looking for a custom rom for it.

Did not work first two times said it failed using odin 3.07 and that site you led me to. it says product mode SPH-L710. and has secure check fail sb11. Please help this is getting very frustrating.

I downloaded last nights OTA 4.3 update and after it installed, now my ATT S3 SGHi1747 gets stuck at the ATT logo AFTER the Samsung logo appears then disappears. My pc is no longer recognizing the device nor do I know how to get in there to at least get it up and running to try and flash it back to factory THEN download 4.3.
Any suggestions on how to get this fixed would be appreciated!

Try booting into recovery and factory resetting, this usually fixes this problem.

If you google for "odin flash rom" there's lot of good tutorials out there, many on this forum alone. As for stock, i'm not sure where to find it since I flashed custom the day after I got my phone and never looked back...can't stand stock touchwiz. You could also try flashing any custom ROM you happen to have layin around...worth a shot until you find a custom one. I use BeanStalk ROM, which has 4.3 and 4.4 versions out now.

I suggest here that everyone here read some of the other threads here on XDA, and see all the problems people are having flashing and rooting after taking this latest 4.3 OTA before advising the next person on how to make ANOTHER paper weight.
As for Sider,
You might be out of luck here, as there is no official 4.3 firmware yet available to flash back to stock, and also AT&T has done something with the new software update, where trying to downgrade it back to a previous version is going to either fail or brick phones.
Also, I haven't read yet where anyone has been successful flashing a custom recovery to fix any issues, but the posts are going up so fast right now that I might have easily missed it.
Edit: OK, someone was able to get TWRP installed, but is also having issues with root.

DO NOT ODIN after last update (OTA 4.3) installed on phone. You will brick your phone.
