Anyone experiencing Whatsapp not working well in 1.6.24-MIUI-XJ?
I always get "Application Whatsapp is not responding" when I try to open or send messages. But if you click Wait a few times, it will manage to move on.
The whole experience is really really slow and laggy.
I have tried giving full permission in the Superuser, disable the superuser permission management but the problem is still there.
Any solutions?

I'm having the same problem, it's extremely slow and laggy. Constantly getting the warning whatsapp isn't responding, asking if i want to force close it or wait for respond. I always click on wait and after a half minute it moves on.
after a half hour doing this, whatsapp runs smooth... but its really annoying

make sure your internet connecting is fine.
you can also try flashing the latest MIUI-XJ rom.
re-installed whatsapp completely (remove data, remove app, clean cache, remove map from SD), even did a full wipe of the ROM. but doesn't solve a thing....
my internet connection is fine, other apps which need internet works fine.
So does anyone have any suggestions?
Got that same on 1.12.2 (long waits, "wait more", no push messages).
after reading the MIUI Thread about the whatsapp problems, it seems the most people with MIUI X-part have the problem.
Also when installed whatsapp, I got the warning that custom ROMS are not supported by whatsapp.
I didn't got this warning when i was on the GingerVillian ROM
So is it MIUI X-part? is it the SD card that gives the problem?

Will try this weekend another SD card and start from scratch, see if it works!
odd.... I was about to try a new SD card but then suddenly, my phone was running whatsapp very smooth.
What did I do? Basicly nothing.. I only stopped using the app UberMusic (still installed on my phone though).
Instead of lagging whatsapp, my entire phone becomes laggy when listening to music and receiving a whatsapp message (happens sometimes, not all the time). My phone doesnt respond to anything, music is played in slow motion. After 5 minutes it recovers it self or goes into a reboot.
at least Whatsapp isn't lagging anymore :')
Hi. On almost every MM rom for M8 I have a strange problem w FB Messenger: messages don't come or come delayed when screen is off. In battery settings I turn off optimization for Messenger and even after that, when I turn off screen messages aren't received, even after a few minutes after turning screen off. I have this issue on stock rom, stock GPE, CM13 and few other roms I tested. On Lollipop everything works fine. Anyone also have this problem or know how to solve it? It drives my crazy, I don't know it is issue with MM, M8 or Messenger, but I try to fix this about 2 months and nothing helped.
snapchat version 9.33.1.0 is not working in our device. it can be logged in but when you try to use it stops and exits. but earlier it was working flawless ! And when i updated to latest one 9.45.x and so on updated versions of snapchat with memories features, it is working but whenever i try to send a snap to someone, it send and keeps sending and rotating the circle and doesnt sends it actually. and then sending failed. and if i share it on story tab , the same happens, it keeps on rotating the circle , and doesnt even show the picture preview in circle icon , earlier it showed a tiny pic inside the circle in story tab when i upload a snap.
So overall i tried this thing in Miui Rom both stable and dev, Cm 12.1, 13, RR-MM, RR-LP, same happens in every rom. tried uninstalling xposed, unroot every possible thing and cross check. but still it doesn't work.
any solutions?

I'm facing a problem with the contacts and phone app. I get a lag of 10-15 seconds in phone call app and contacts app. I'm on OnePlus 5T.I've tried clearing the cache of default phone call app and contacts app but this issue goes away for 3-4 minutes and reappears.
I also booted my phone into TWRP recovery and wiped cache/dalvic but I'm still facing the problem. What should I do?
I'm running stockROM Android 7.1.1 with root and xposed installed.
An online search reveals that it's a common problem across different OnePlus models. I suppose this is a bug.
Please help me out in fixing this lag.

Guy's this Zenfone camera app Freeze's ..i mean i literally have to restr thr phone .. clearing cache / data wont work .. This happens mostly when i use WHATSAPP camera which get blank n then the main ? app shows black screen

Sometimes i use whatsapp camera which Freeze's for no reason and at the time i try to open normal camera which too gets Freeze too now I have no choice but to restart whole system to get the camera working
