But both are Fire OS 3.6.2

Fire Phone
Just bought my unlocked Fire Phone due to the price drop. What can I do to help facilitate a CM image for it?

CM for fire phone anyone?
I was just reading a thread in which there seemed to be significant progress being made towards getting a custom rom (i cant post on that thread because im brand new to xda)...
But yeah, any luck by anyone as to putting CM on fire phone? I'm sorry for piggybacking on your efforts, I (along with many others, I'm sure) am indebted to the work you guys put!!

I assume any rooting on 3.6.8 is impossible, correct ?

Yes, I've successfully downgraded from 3.6.5 to 3.5.0 and rooted the phone. Sideloaded gapps and can use Play Store to install apps.

my 32 gb is pleading as well! it is a gorgeous phone at a silly low price!

I like it, but were are some features
Hi,
first oft all, I really like the Rom, although it was a little tricky to install. (Had to add twrp again...)
However, I've been unable to find some features, like for example tap2wake (which I consider very nice ...)
The other stuff I hope I am just too tired to find right now...
Thanks for any answer in advance
Edit : indeed I was to tired yesterday ... Found it
Missing Duo-Cam Support
Hi guys, me again,
I've found the settings, that I wanted, however now I wonder whether both back cams are supported at that time? Refocusing after one took a photo is what I'm talking about ...
Even if this is just a nice gimmick, I think it's very nice ^
Is there sound distortion?
Hello, how i can fix the bluetooth problem on the latest build?

Issues with Graphene
I am brand new to rooting/flashing/ROMs.
I just flashed my S3 to Graphene as more of a last ditch effort because I thought I bricked my phone. Luckily I got it to work and can at least make calls/text. My problem is that I have no apps. No App store, no apps at all. WTF am I doing/did wrong? I tried a couple of Play Store apk's but nothing works. I got nothing and I need help.
thanks

I usually post updates to twitter since I do various builds on my days off trying to resolve the configurations. Once bluetooth and wifi are working I'll create an installer and start rolling things out. Before the installer I'll also add an RC version to the downloads tab for those who can do the manual setup.

Kit Kat MIUI ROM steps to install
I am new and have never done this before. So can anyone please guide me in installing the ROM mentioned in the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p6/ascend-mate/kit-kat-miui-rom-t3084452
Looks like the only issue is with the location services and I would like to get this on my phone. Mods can guide me to threads that may be of help but I am interested in getting the information from the guys who have installed the same.
Thanks

I will give you some detailed instructions over the weekend. I don't have the time during the week.
Have you ever flashed a ROM before? If your answer is no to this then it is probably no to the rest of questions
Is you phone already rooted?
Which recovery do you have installed?

I have not flashed a ROM Not ever in my life. If Huawei had provided OTA updates, i wouldn't have to think about it either. But now I have to learn and do. Kindly do point me in the right direction and be assured of my gratefulness.
Phone is not rooted and don't have recovery installed. Need help here as well. Sorry if this is asking too much. Thanks.

Im just about 100% sure it is a Kindle Fire HD 7" 2nd Gen.
You have one of these right? Front camera in center, Two ports on the bottom in the center, one is a micro USB and the other is a micro HDMI i think... 1/4 of the way on the back from the bottom there is a darker black strip with speaker slots on the ends and Kindle written on the right side in that darker strip.....
ill try to post a pic...
Can you help lead me to a way to get Android OS on it? I got a Fastboot cable for it..

Probably a HD model. One way of telling this is that KF2 does not go higher than 16GB of storage.
