wont boot
tried everything will not boot on my galaxy pro sm-t320 i have twrp 2801 installed did a clean install wont boot at all
I don't know how to install any ROMs on my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2. Every time I try, it does not work because I feel it was bought from Amazon and Samsung officially manufactured it. How do I install a ROM on my stock Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2? Give me a step by step process, including the substeps.

T320 Lock Screen Widgets
Are there any plans for a T320 version that supports lock screen widgets?
How would I go about installing the replacement keyguard.apk linked to in post #178? How do I set the correct permissions? Thank you!
EDIT: Managed to copy keyguard.apk to /system/priv-apps manually and edit permissions successfully. The lockscreen works with widgets, but does rotate: always stuck in portrait mode.
EDIT 2: I was able to enable lock screen rotation with the replacement keyguard.apk using the following method:
Navigate to the following folder using a root-enabled file manager:
/system
Find a file named build.prop. You need to edit it, so open it in your favourite text editor. Add the following line to your build.prop file:
lockscreen.rot_override=true
Tip: Before you add the line, check if the same parameter is present in the build.prop file, but with the value set to false. If it is present, then modify the existing line and set it to 'true'.
Reboot your tablet and it should all work!
EDIT 3:
The notifications pull-down still works over the lock screen, meaning the lock screen security can be bypassed by tapping a notification.

I have a dumb question here. I flashed this rom to SM-T900 this weekend, I guess it's V1 still at least that's what the download is named. Anyway I have been getting reboots several times a day. But I just noticed that this is for firmware ...NG4 I am on ...NK1. I'm planning on doing an Odin back to stock and just root cuz I can't find any other roms for this firmware. But wanted to ask first if there might be a work around to this. Like maybe flashing a different kernel or something. I've spent most of my evenings combing thru these threads to find help but this is my last resort.

Without rooting, doing all of those things would be difficult if not impossible.
After rooting:
1. I don't know if anyone's created a mod for disabling looping, but it should be possible
2. Easy (use Nottach XPosed)
3. I'm pretty sure you'd have to do some major editing of the apk

AOSP-based roms (like CM) don't use the Touchwiz Launcher and Alarm apps. AFAIK, CM uses the Trebuchet launcher and a modified stock Android clock. You could actually just rip those apps from the CM ROM and install them on your Touchwiz ROM and they should work fine. It just wouldn't work with the Touchwiz Launcher or Alarm.

Upsm boot loop.
please forgive me if this has already been answered!
what I've done is deleted the touchwiz launcher (system launcher) I unfortunately can't remember what it was called!
I am using jellykat v5 on n7100.
everything was fine until I turned on upsm and rebooted, the phone boots to the samsung screen full colour then goes b+w, then upsm boots and says couldn't find widget then reboots. Unfortunately the disable upsm option doesn't load in time or is a feature of the widget in question.
I wasn't that bothered as I was about to upgrade to jellykat v6, but the stupid part is I forgot to sync my contacts DOH!
I have 3 solutions, I was hoping someone could help me.
first, reinstall the touchwiz launcher (system launcher) .apk, I was hoping someone might provide a download link to the .apk thats contained in jellykat v5. I could (hopefully) reinstall it using team win recovery file manager or something?
second, I could delete the upsm .apk which might trick the phone into booting normally as it tries to boot into colour mode first then loads upsm (i think).
third, this option is not as desireable. I could save the folders where my contacts and text messages are using team win recovery and install jellykat v6.

No status bar or settings after replacing original with mod?
I really don't know what I'm doing wrong I thought I followed all the instructions, I deodexed my SystemUI.apk and SecSettings.apk and placed the onto my stock phone for testing, phone is working fine no crashes, settings still working, and I still have a status bar. Now when I go to decompile, modify, then recompile, everything looks peachy on the computer but after a reboot on the phone back to the missing status bar and settings. Any idea what the issue could be? I have a Galaxy Note 3 and I have for sure pulled all the framework from my phone into the framework folder, I had that wrong yesterday so I feel I've made a lot of progress so far lol.

Not sure whats going on but these links are alil wacky my friend. After trying both links on this thread its directing me to different page with other random links.... is this just me or what?? I am using the XDA app. I think the link are bad. Tried both in google browser and my regular internet browser. Both are a no go.....
Edit: its directing me to some weird project runway links.... tried different browers. Im gonna try my labtop later but just a F.Y.I for OP. Anyone else having this problem? ?

I was also trying to figure out why the status bar disappears when I use my modified SystemUI.apk so I posted log files here along with my progress.
Please help to get this right
Ive been a fan of this it works flawlessly on 4.4.2 stock rom by QS
However I cant get it to work on 4.3 OE1.
The systemUI was odexed, and I deodexed it.
It decompiles without any errors (There were errors but finally I was managed to get them rectified through various guides)
SystemUI works okay on the phone , with all other mods.
But No flashlight Icon. nor a blank space, on the toggles area to indicate a missing public value.
There were no flashlightquicksettings.smali on the smali folder until I added it.
Ive tried all the post's spending days.
Can you help?
By the way I used sqlite editor to add the toggle to the settings storage.

Wallpaper issue
Hi guys I just flashed this ROM. I can´t believe how fast is aggainst other roms . But i found a issue. If i download image from phone's browser, and open them in gallery image become grey, but in thumbail view is still good. When i want to set them as wallpaper, in wallpaper editor is still grey .. and then on homescreen too. Or sometimes when i just want to open image in editor to crop them for wallpaper nothing happens just "fail to load image " is shown.... Can't set my gf as a wallpaper .. Where is the problem ??
Phone info:
-Desire Z EU
-Rom installed throught 4EXT 1.0.0.6 RC2 with full wipe(include external SD card) and all partitions converted to ext 4.
-Flashed latest radio .19 (with cache/dalvik and EFS wipe of course )

Try any other browser like "uc browser" to download images and open it with gallery or download any other file manager like "es filee manager" and open that image with that. Hope that will help you!

I downloaded image in PC and tranfer into phone with usb cable .. but still same result .. some image work right and some no .. where is the problem ??
Try different browsers. The G2 is kinda funky at this point simply because of the age. I remember having a similar problem and I think I had to use opera mini to download good images.
