Yes, just installed on mines, did a back-up of the boot.img just in case though.

Well this was fast! Thanks, I'll be sure to check it as soon as I can.
A little bit more info would be appreciated though. Is it compatible with all Moto G 2014 devices? Known bugs? Future plans?

Flashed it on my xt6014 I think is the name.... Seems to be a little smoother than stock. So excited for development to pick up on this amazing phone!!!

As you know, Moto G 2014 uses dual speakers. The right headphone actually uses the same audio channel as the upper speaker. So if you're going to use an app to control audio, use FauxSound - it handles the matched channel better than TricksterMOD.
No known bugs, all testing was done on XT1064. Future wise, I'm going to give this kernel long term support. More features down the road is a given.

Seems nice. Going to test it.
_____
So, it made my phone a tad smoother. I'm also getting 384Mb free RAM when putting Facebook stuff to sleep with Greenify. Not bad.
Also, thanks for SIO.

can u add double tap to wake feature in next release?

I can straight away tell the difference in performance, memory is managed much more efficiently than the stock kernel.

is there anyone having problems using this kernel? i'm testing it but i couldn't notice if it's stable enough as a daily driver yet
i'll let you know if something happen
Update:
24 hours and no problem at all (Moto G XT1069)

Can you tell if the tone, alarm and notificactions ascending, are removed in this kernel?
It's very, very important to me

I'm using it and no problems yet

working great so far

Great to know such enthusiasm for kernels and fantastic reviews and testings.
Devs keep on the awesome work.....gonna try this kernel once its completely stable for daily use.

It also does on the other one. WIth the build.prop mentioned elsewhere in that thread.....
But nevertheless. Nice to see a new dev I hope you will be getting it all working. There are however some pretty big names working on that port.
Looks like we're all stuck in the same place.
I definitely don't want to belittle your efforts, but I don't think there's any meaning in making 3 copies of a ROM with the same features/bugs.
That was discussed at length in one of the previous threads.
Well, good luck anyways.
You guys should do this together in collaboration! We want lil bit froyo)
Well, there are already 4 ports in the making.
Mine (supposedly community, but till now, I've been doing all the work), Robin's, Villain, and that one.
Great work! Nice to see a russian "out-of-box" distro. I'll keep watching, as this is to be a very promising one
i encouraged him to post this here. since he did it already he can as well make it available for the masses... don't you think?
still very excited to see some community work happening on froyo at all...
The repository for Froyo isn't available to the public yet, and that's why the projects are on a halt, yeah?

GSM worked for me with Androbin froyo too, only mic didn't
Oh come on!! Join Froyo team if you want to port Froyo...Don't copy other roms' purposes! Another release already exists with these SAME features! You've only made more confusion in this section... "Development" means "to develop SOMETHING NEW/ENHANCED/IMPROVED"! Not the same things at all! Don't reinvent the hot water! We already have it...
Nalorokk, respect from Russia! lol Let me know if you need any support =) I'm not particularly a developer, but I can be a beta tester, God knows =)

Request: MIUI port

Whats going xda users and devs!
I've always wondered how our phones would run MIUI, since our phones have the best potential and 2 gb of ram, that makes me think that the resources hungry MIUI will run fantastic in the GS3. Any of you devs have plans to port for us?

My guess is that it's probably in the works. Everybody is really focused on cm10 right now so I would imagine when that dies down a little bit we'll start seeing more of miui and other roms.
I think the fact that there is already a MIUI rom for the international GS3 would make easier to port for our D2tmo. We are a bit behing in rom options in comparison with other US variants. No rush intended tho, just wanted to bring up the interest of us tmo users for something diff and because I haven't seen any request for this either
+1, would love to see an MIUI ROM on this phone

Actually I have been working on porting MIUI over to our device and the closest I got was having it bootloop on the MIUI bootscreen. Still working on it tho but I bricked my white s3 so I had to get another. I'm looking for another dev to help me out on this.

Yeah I'm pretty much dying without a Miui port. I used Miui constantly on my HD2 and I had some really nice themes going on, very minimalistic and sexy. I've actually been considering switching back to my HD2 for the time being just so I can get back to miui, haha.

[Q] About kernels

Hi, I'm kind of new to this rooting thing and I have a few questions! My maguro GNex is running CM 10.1 with the latest nightly at the moment, and I wanted to know what are the so called kernels, and what can I do with it, where can I get a good one and so on.
Thank you in advance!

Kernel is somekind like the brain of the ROM. There is a lot of nice kernel for maguro such as trinity, franco, lean, etc. Read it in the development section and try it to find the best for you. For me, the best is Trinity kernel.

Not all the info in that post is correct. The stock kernel *does* adapt voltages and frequencies based on demand. To understand what a kernel does, I find it helpful to view the architectural design:

they usually compile their own, use a friends, use the aosp kernel, or use their favorite
I usually check for features I'm looking for when selecting a kernel. I always try to find one that has fast charge option cause I'm impatient when it comes to charging. Available governor's and color change options are important too.

I got the donate version to support you development.
Let's see how the battery life goes with this guy around.
Two things I would like to see.
1. Please add a little mouth under the mustache and beard options, it would make it funnier.
2. It would be nice to have an animation for the mouth as wel from time to time, maybe when the mouth is set to Awwww the monster could close it from time to time or have a little interaction if it's pressed.
Keep the good work!!

You can try clearing the "data" in the application info and try it again. I think it might be trying to find a custom background which is no longer in your device.

Guys, there's no the best... Devs are doing their best to bring new features or performance to our Wonder. So where's hard and time wasting work - there should be respect and politness... Each one of us picks the ROM he wants or he needs. We are all different. Let's respect others work and keep comparison like that in PRIVATE!!! Thanks for understanding!:highfive:

If it has draining battery that is questionable. Mostly it has to do with the kernel. And we are free to choose which kernel we want to use. Also depends on the applications that we are running also. Battery depends more on kernel, applications and usage of the user. It's fallacy blaming a specific rom.
