Sprint update

I have rooted my phone and now sprint wants to update it. If i update it will it stay rooted or become unrooted?

It will lose root. And wrong forum, should be posted in Q&A

Don't know how I got to this Q&A forum when i clicked on ATT LG Optimus G.

Can delete thread, somehow rooted to this forum when i clicked on my subscribed q&a forum.

[Q] How do I remove my username and phone number from the GS3?

Tried a factory reset, data wipe, and flashing a stock rom and it still shows my username and phone number under about device and status. How can I get this removed(trying to sell phone).

Do the sale at a sprint store have them do it for you.
