From what I understand in the original thread it's 5.0. Only the G4 already has 5.1 I think

It is 5.0.2. Be careful cause some people reported that this rom has a backled problem.

Somebody tried the rom on a vs980?

No random reboots? how long have you used this rom?

not rly a problem it' s just that the led around the power button stays on. I believed it was a kernel problem so try to flash dorimanx kernel over it.

Some apps display notifications with a black background which makes it difficult to read the text. Is there any way to fix this?
In this example the app causing this is MailWise.

You can go to the Gpro2 V5 by acura thread and you can find the fix there. This is just a copy from the vietnamise people, cause they have the same bug.

If I want to get back to kitkat based roms i.e., Cloudy G2 can I get back normally? Or Can I restore backup from TWRP..?
This doesn't modify partition like Grola Rom right?

Doesn't seem to be booting on my VS980. Tried everything. Curious if any other VS980 owners can get it to boot and what Bootstack/Modem you're on. Thanks.

That depends. What bootloader does BlossROM requires?
This one uses Simple ROM Grola bootloader or Lollipop bootloader.

Any one else having this issue?
On my D800 LED is off. Ony my friend's G2 LED was on but with low brightness. Whenever there is a call the LED turns on with full brightness

it really is for the xperia x normal you can try it in your xperia x compact and confirm if it has served you if it does not help you could support me by sending me your file to make a new configuration and post it in its respective model

It seems like it works. I recorded a 10 minute 4K video no problems. Which file would you need me to upload? Thermal.conf?

I had a small problem when use this mod, quick charge feature did not work, my phone charging is reallly slow

It works on Oreo by the way, just in case someone's intrested.

Will this work with Oreo 8.1 OmniRom?

it does not work for the oreo version since the directories are different and you have to activate some things then I work in a version for oreo but it does not work at all in Oreo N only in MM

i have bought new Z2 play from ebay china seller, i have some questions about it !
* how i can check it real genuine moto Z2 play !
*its come with bad theme and rom not i like it, how i can change ROm to another good ROM

Hmm, there are a few things you could try:
1)Power off your device. Then hold both the power button and volume down. You should be in a bootloader screen. Does your bootloader look like this https://goo.gl/images/jgfx4w or like https://goo.gl/images/Bjkfg1 - if like the 2nd image as on a genuine Z2 Play, does it mention albus in the info screen? Does your baseband begin with M8953...? To exit that screen, choose Start with the volume keys and press the power key to select the option.
2) is the device well built, is it fast? Does the camera take sharp photos?
3) download AIDA64 or CPU-Z or DevInfo (or any good hardware info app) and look at the reported CPU, clock speeds and available RAM/storage. Does that match what you bought and what may have been written on the box (Snapdragon 625/626, 2.2 GHz etc)?
Also, you could run the Antutu Officer app to check.
Hmm, you may have ZUI on a genuine Z2 Play, since it appears Z2 play devices in China do have the different skin https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/m.gs...ay_comes_with_zuks_zui_in_china-amp-25882.php I hope someone else can suggest methods to change to a retail stock ROM if it's possible.

You might've bought an actual Chinese Moto Z2 Play, which runs Lenovo's ZUK UI instead of stock Android. Remember that.

There plenty of threads in the Z2 forums here which tell you how to update. I have same phone. Original software is terrible but I flashed new software and working well now. I did have to unlock bootloader though.
Plenty to read in other forums on this.

Downloaded, flashed it, and failed to reboot. Unfortunately my phone can't install Mi ROMs after v.12.11.25. Unable to restore twrp backups as well. Dunno why and how to fix this condition.

idol3 & idol347 : the future

Hello there !
After years (about exactly 2) of work and help from the postmarketOS « mainline » community, it's possible
for both of idol3 (6045) and idol347 (6039) to run with a modern Linux kernel, modem included (data & calls) !
Main problems remaining are camera sensor and battery consumption, which are no small problems to solve.
Still, it's a bit of a victory against e-waste, and if you feel like trying a « Linux phone », check those out :

I'll post some « easy-to-install ROM » once I have polished some remaining glitches,
but you can already follow pmOS wiki instructions to build images and flash them yourself.
Before you ask, the Waydroid package available in pmOS might somehow work,
it's been a while since I quickly tried it on idol3. Can't say much more about apps & network support in there.
To wrap it up, with modern, close-to-mainline Linux kernel support, real recent Android also becomes possible,
I'll just leave first screenshot as a teaser (needs even more work just to support sound, and not heat like crazy...)

You probably already know/do that, but just in case, maybe enabling the "Go Edition" would improve a bit the performance/heating.
This can be done by adding this piece of code in a file of device/alcatel/idol347/ :

I'll look in to this and the lowram settings especially for idol347.
Performance & heating mostly come from still incomplete support for interconnects+devfreq and thermal zones.

Flashing pmOS to userdata partition is the main way, to get most space (it gets flashed to system by default),
and this would break LineageOS. It's not possible to flash it into a "subfolder" like SailfishOS does.
Flashing to a sdcard is possible, but I think will have to wait for 5.17 pmOS kernel package update
for this to work since in current 5.15 package the sdcard is disabled (or rebuild the package after changing devicetree).
Then, lk2nd will boot from sdcard if it's detected (no menu to choose yet, afaik).

Needs some more work to get on par with idol3, but idol347 is getting there too
