Since few weeks , my s4 mini drains fast but only at 15%. In like 2 or 3 min , its falling at 0
Hard reset doesnt solve.
Somebody get an hint ?

Ok the good point is that i feel less lonely lol.
Did you search a bit ? Do you think its from the firmware ?

I use my phone only as a simple phone to make and receive occasional calls, with very occasional use of Google Search and Google Maps. It uses ~13% of remaining battery in a 24 hour period. I get 5 to 7 days out of a full charge. Right now mine is at 41% and i am in day 5. I expect it to be at ~36% tomorrow morning, beginning day 6. At the end of that day or beginning of next, at a bit more than 20%, i'll charge it again.
I would not expect to use the phone with the battery at anything less than 20%. I have it for emergencies, and i would not trust it at that level.

My note II restates out of the blue without any good reasons :crying:
it generally happen when i play any game or use 2 or 3 apps at the same time ( like sound cloud , facebook and messenger )or ( game and messenger ) or playing for a long time ... knowing that the battery is fully charged or at least more then 80% ... it suddenly restarts with about 2 % .. and i take that battery out and in and open the phone to find it about 60%
i tried to factory reset
knowing that the phone on kitkat 4.4.2 the original french update from Samsung , and i tried also to run the secreat codes but neither of the code worked!!
can anyone please tell me what is the problem and how can i fix it please

how old is the battery?
did you overclock?
check if it's warm or even hot

the battery and the mobile are about 2 year ...
and no i didn't overclock the phone
and it gets a slightly warm in fact
battery life is approx. 1000 cycles, so in 2 years it is quite possible.
If you can swap battery and test. If you don't OC, then it's not a security restart.

Weird coincidence. This started happening to me on May 10th. My 2.5 yr old phone would restart over and over even when plugged into the computer. I did a hard reset and it still didn't help.
I replaced the battery and it fixed it!

Problem Solved
it was really the battery
once i changed it every thing went back to normal .

Its also another weird coincidence as this issue has happened to me, my note 2 is also 2.5 years old and my phone kept restarting too, but i really didnt care much and instead, i continued to use it over and over and overclocked it to 1800 mhz and i have no idea how but is stopped restarting. It was weird, at least is saved me money buy not having to buy a new battery. But as i expected, a new problem arises, systemui keeps crashing. But the battery is still fine, all i did was flashed a new rom.
Hi everybody...I have this phone and I have a problem.When I charge the phone up to 100% battery and then take it from the charger,battery drops to 99 or less without phone usage...And when I go to sleep and then wake up,the phone lost about 10-15 percent...Can somebody plesase help me?
Check what's keeping your phone awake during idle, "wakelock detector" and "better battery stats". Though you need root for these. You've nor given us any details of what your phone is and what ROM?? Try searching for threads on how to calibrate your phone battery.
Ohh sorry...My phone is S4 mini GT-I9195 LTE....I have stock android 4.4.2 kitkat...I have already calibrated battery and bought new battery...But same problem...

Not always the case... Depends when and where your phone was made. Could be a faulty kernel or motherboard but it also could be an app or a setting on your phone or an unclean install. Have you always suffered this issue?
I got phone about 3 weeks ago...and the battery was very bad so i bought new one.I also tried CM 12.1 but the phone is heating in unnormal way but the battery there is better...
You have problems with motherboard. Go to service center to replace it on waranty.

Your best bet seeing as unless you pay for a new motherboard is to try one of the battery drain fix kernels on here. Though I think you may be limited to certain compatible ROMs.
Why are you not staying on cm 12.1? For me it's amazing, i observed at least 100% more battery efficiency than stock (4.2.2). I also observed the same problem with high temp too. But i think we can't have it all. When i play games and the outside temperature is about 35 celsius, i do not expect anything less, because this mobile is not designed for this android version. I think that's reasonable and i finally can use my mobile with a joyful way without having my mind always on the battery stats!

Been using this phone for over a month now and always has bad battery life as compared to what others are getting.. about 4 hours sot with over 20 hours on battery and it used to reach 10% battery level ?.. yeah it's bad... So I unlocked, rooted and installed greenify and amplify and amplify showed the cause... Take a look at this.. so the only way to fix this is to flash a custom stock based ROM right ?
I'm worried about that rijl wake lock.. radio issues ? I always keep my phone on 2g to get even batter battery life but sad situation for me here folks

Sure! Easy, just depends on what you do...
Just remove all the Google Apps, especially Google Now. It's wakelocking the phone like crazy, because it's recording your location for example.

oh man i am so sorry the way i framed my sentence.. i meant 10% battery life lol my apologies. and when i mean others, they usually get 5h sot or more
RILJ is caused by Google Play Services, not by OP3 itself.
Get rid off GApps or just deal with it.

a couple of months ago, my watch suddenly passed from a comfortable 20 hours battery duration to a 10/12 hour maximum ...
I thought it was something I installed, but after a hard reset, a face change (I passed to stock faces that are more efficient), a Google Play Service check (37 MB at the moment), nothing changed.
Even after the wear 2.0 upgrade nothing changed.
I keep wi-fi always off, motion on, brightness to 3, screen always on (dimmed).
So I thought there was something wrong with the battery, I ordered a new one from china and installed it: the situation now is worse ... the watch lasts 8/10 hours ...
Any idea?

I have to figure my battery issue out as well. Took it off the charger at 6am & about 4pm it's 15%. Pretty unacceptable for doing absolutely nothing with it. I may have to factory reset then see what happens.
I used to get 1.5 days on AW 1.0.

I need your help for my sony xperia z5 premium dual. i purchased this phone before 15 days before and after used till date i found vairous issues with my phone. the issues are as follows
1) Phone heats tremendously while charging , wifi or mobile data using, backgrounds apps, in hot weather condition
2) mobile not charging or very very slow charging while wifi or mobile data is on. Mobile off condition mobile charge very fast.
3) battery drain so fast only 4 to 5 hours . need charging twice or thrice in a day
4) looking for a root to naught 7.0 but no easy method were found
dear friends could you guide me or found solution to resolve above issue. i will very thankful to you . please help .....

I have the same phone, but don't have these issues. I have 1,5 day battery life. Did you look at the list of running apps and what app is consuming most the battery?

bro , i had app to close background apps, but thats not good enough. phone still heats while mobile data or wi-fi ON. battery draining continuously. is there is possibility of hardware issue ? how can i rectify ? warranty is over.

It says more than 1 day and still 41%. That is very good I think.
Do a clean flash or check what apps are consuming the battery. I use Accubattery to monitor the battery. Gsam is also good.

no its shows only. but actually its run for hardly 5 hours with full of use.

I have the same problem, but my battery in 88 percent says 4 hours left, the problem its the battery or the rom/kernel?
