This kernel is for AOSP/CM Based ROMs only! and it's for Android Kitkat 4.4.4
It doesn't contain any recovery in it, so the recovery you have won't be changed
And it is basically a mixture between some kernels like (Pimped/Mosh/DooM)
Many more features from many other kernels will be added as well maybe soon
I'll try to keep providing updates, at least every three days (minor updates)

Whaaaat? A new thread? A new kernel? No. It's @OmarEinea
Downloading and testing
As always, great job and thanks for your time :good:
--------------------------------------------------EDIT--------------------------------------------------
31-10-2014 release works fine, but the other one give me status 6 error with cwm.
Solved by using updater-script of first release
One more thing I saw Sony Z1 Compact on recovery (nothing to worry about)

thanks for this great kernel and yes its working fine and the 2.419 mhz is totally stable i even can undervolt this -25mv without any problems and i would not mind to have the option to run the phone at 2.7ghz

Thanks a ton dev!
Gonna be giving it a try in a day for sure. Man this was all that was missing in Android Original Dev sections.
Great work!
P.S. What I actually liked the most was the humility that is expressed in the name of the Kernel, re affirms my be belief in humanity.

I tried to use OC (2419) with pimp my z1 app but it wouldn't stay on it (went back to 2260, tried it several times) other than that it's great! ty

im going to try it (finally a cm kernel thats under development ) and i would like 2,7GHz
ps is it only for cm or aosp too ? there are nearly same ...

Finally.. Can thank u enough Omar

It's showing a sorry message by the file host server!
Apologize for any dropped downloads from the IL Server just now. There was a 45 second network drop with one of the network peers. This has been fixed. Apologize for the inconvenience

Seems Stable already. No problems with Settings not Sticking on boot. Using Faux app and DARKCM ROM

I'm testing
runs so far without problems
many thanks

Thanks for this amazing kernel!
Just one question:
Can you make a version tht works with SlimKat?
:fingers-crossed:

Got a random reboot, phone was connected to PC, screen off.
last_kmsg here: http://gw.gd/NoCL

Hi tried out the new kernel but in my case bad news - no boot of phone display stays off and red led on
Flashed back CM11 boot.img and device is ok.

nice to see another good work here!
but so many versions, which one should be the best one for me?
nice kernel and really nice minimal choice! :highfive:
there's no need for mine
no pgm support is a show-stopper.
i have never used PGM,
if you want a minimal kernel with no debug options enabled you must deal with it.
thanks

Thank you so much !!
Thanks a lot. First kernel for N4, amazing. Everything works nice for me. S2S works nice but I'm unable to make S2W working.
Big thanks for your work.

Agree to the kernel driver and the configs match the N910F source code. According to my knowledge, the N910T source code is indeed for the N910F version but some things just go.

i think you are absolutely correct!!

That with the ramdisk is already clear to me that it is the N910F. My concern is mainly about the kernel driver (source / drivers) do not have problems with N910F. Well the N910F Source code coming soon
[30 October 2014] [Kernel] [SM-910F] N4 AEL Kernel
The source is unified across the board when it comes to the Snapdragon version. The only difference is which carrier's build script is in the root folder. You can find all of the configs for every one of them in the tmo source, though.
I don't intend to cover anything outside of North America, so Europe is all you. I'm sending people here as long as that isn't an issue.
This kernel also works perfectly on my Canadian SM-N910W8 in case any Canadian users are wondering

These are the configs of the EU version in source code is known to me. Nevertheless, what is presently as the internal kernel drivers are different in N910F source . Whether there are differences between the drivers you can not say at present . Presumably it does nothing but surely I 'm not .
Here is a problem from a German forum:

Flashed over Carbon ROM RC5. Booted up and then just shows a blank screen with the Mi logo.
Screen turns on and off, I can hear the volume being adjusted, but that's all.
Reflashed original ROM and all is back to normal.
Thanks for continued development.
Peace.
Please implement OC/OV function.

MULTIROM/KEXEC HARDBOOT :-
Thia feature is ONLY available on v2.0, v2.1 and from v3.2 onwards.
i . e . from v2.2 to v3.1 DOES NOT support Multiboot. Trying out these versions with multirom will result in unexpected behaviour.
DOWNLOADS :-
(do not mirror my links)
Latest Version
Older Versions
INSTALLING:-
Reboot into recovery.
Make a nandroid BackUp.
Select Install zip from SD Card.
Select the Downloaded zip.
Then Reboot to System.
KNOWN ISSUES :-
Battery shows charging even on disconnection of the charger.
Solution :-
This issue, as I have noticed is caused due to enabling of USB fast charge. I noticed this on few cm roms too. After having charged, disconnect the charger, disable USB fast charge, reconnect charger and disconnect again. This should solve the issue. You can re-enable fast charge again !
ELSE :- You can also try this great fix suggested by @wernerml.
RECOMMENDED SETTINGS :-
See Post #2.
BUG REPORTS :-
While submitting a bug report be sure of mentioning the following things :-
ROM
Kernel Version
Whether using Xposed or not
A Logcat
Preferably a screenshot
Bug reports NOT meeting these criteria will be ignored.
RECOMMENDED APPS FOR KERNEL TWEAKING :-
Kernel Adiutor
Faux123 Kernel Enhancement Pro
Trickster Mod
Synapse
CREDITS:-

Experimental Builds
EXPERIMENTAL BUILDS with D2W/S2WPresenting before you the experimental builds of Stellar Kernel with D2W/S2W support! Enjoy these builds but be aware that you might face some issues, so be sure of reporting them back so that they can be improved in further builds. ENJOY !!!
WHY EXPERIMENTAL ?
The reason behind making these builds "experimental" is simply because D2W/S2W is not yet fully compatible with our device. They cause occasional freezes and touch issues and bring down the overall performance. Hence, until serious work is done on making D2W/S2W compatible, these builds will remain experimental and WILL NOT be merged with stable builds.
PLEASE NOTE THAT :-
D2W/S2W is NOT compatible with all models of this phone.
It supports only the following display types :-
mdss_dsi_mot_inx_720p_video_v0
It DOES NOT support the following display types :-
mdss_dsi_mot_jdi_720p_video_v1
mdss_dsi_mot_jdi_720p_video_v0
To check which display type you have by going into terminal and type :-
Code:

DO REPORT BUGS (Read Carefully) :-
The reason I am asking you to do so is because I DO NOT have a "mdss_dsi_mot_inx_720p_video_v0" display.
Therefore I CANNOT TEST ANY OF THESE BUILDS. If you want further support on these build DO TEST and REPORT.

Can you add kexec hardboot patch, if you want, pm me and ill send you the commits, cause alot of people want to dual boot lets say Titan Prime and 5.1 CM, stuff like that, so maybe add kexec, since this will be the first kernel to have that
Booted and i can confirm that everything working fine :thumbup:nice work OP
Now this made my day.
Thank you for doing what it really needed to be done.
Nice to see a Stock Kernel thank you
Is it possible in near or far future to add Stereo call recording support by skvalex?
