Qi charging back plates from Ebay - Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Had anyone bought one of that off eBay yet? I am a little cautious as they don't seem to be available anywhere yet, even from Samsung direct. Just want to know if they ate legit

I bought mine for my g3 on ebay and it was legit

Mine is still on the slow boat from China. I'll post when it finally arrives and I can test it.

Please do, I was going to purchase tipsy bit they only have white right now
Sent from a Constant State of Confusion

I ordered one and it arrived in less than a week, but I shipped it to the wrong address (home and not school.) They said they'd send me another so if they do I'll post back.

I ordered one from Samsung. Cheaper and 4days it was here

I got mine from eBay. It is OME and perfect except I had to settle for white as black was out of stock.

Dude, I got mine, but now the cases do not fit. Wow my g3 backplate was the exact same thickness. This one is not. Poor planning

Replacement screen

I have been trying to find a replacement screen for aria, but everywhere I look they are insanely expensive or sold out. Is anyone else finding these for 40 or 50 bucks? I have looked everywhere, so if you have a tip please help a guy out here!

Cheapest I've seen is $80 on eBay.

Just found this site that lists them for $45 but they show backordered. Maybe you can contact them to see when they'll get more stock in, if ever.

Cheap htc digitizers
This is my first post, so I can't post links, but search on DealExtreme and you will find cheap digitizers for HTC.
These are probably not genuine, but worth the gamble?
Are any of these models compatible with the Aria?

Can get them on eBay though for ~$50.
wholesalegadgetparts.com has them for a little under $50.00. OEM markings, it fits, it works, fast shipping. Mine arrived in 2 days regular post (free). Follow guide on repairsuniverse.com. Be careful with the sticky stuff that holds the screen to the frame or you will have to replace it too.
Hello all.
It is compatibile digitizer and lcd between aria and gratia?
I see on Ebay that touch screen for aria is cheaper than for gratia.
Yeah it's the same.
Digitizer
Did you get the screen yet? My wife shattered her screen 3 days after the release of the Intruder (Aria) I found a new one online for $45 with tax and shipping. had to play with the stickers a little to stop light from shinning out of the sides but it was real easy replacement .....Ill look through my records if you still need it.
does the digitizer works like the original one? no problems at all?
I'm wondering if you can get an original one, beside buying a phone for parts.

Ruggedized battery cover

Ok so I was asked to update this post. Some of the information found throughout the thread is below:
The battery cover can be found at: cnn.cn
(thank you NoNameAtAll from this post)
The cnn.cn part is just the case, no retail packaging (ie. no media dock adapter.)
jjwatmyself in post says that you remove the insert in the car dock and it will fit the atrix with the battery cover.
digital.aaron in post has some pictures with the cover on the phone.
jjwatmyself has some pictures here.
digital.aaron says in this post: it's very different from Otterbox's rubber. It hasn't picked up any fuzz from my pocket, and I've got on fleece sweatpants. Used to be a nightmare for my 'Box'd iPhone.
Some problems people were are having, the sides are flimsy (you get used to this) and the different colors seem to have different textures.
=============OLD POST===========================
I bought the atrix from AT&T and I ordered a ruggedized battery cover from some website for $30 w/ shipping. My question is as I have neither yet, does anyone have the cover and is it good? Does it feel like it will protect the phone a bit and help hold the phone in the hand?
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
I'd be interested in this too. Asked a while back and it seemed no one has tried them, because there were no responses. I don't want to spend $30 on one if it feels cheap or doesn't fit right

Well, if no one else has tried I already ordered it so when I get both phone and cover in I will update this thread. It might be a while as I am stationed in Japan so my mom will be sending me the phone Tuesday or Wednesday and it may take a week or two to get here.
oh by the way I ordered mine from After market Cellular. Anyone have any dealings with them, are they honest?
This is the specific one I bought:
http://www.aftermarketcellular.com/ic/89490N.html
I've been looking at one of these batter covers but several sites that I have checked show an estimated ship date or out of stock. Have you received a shipping confirmation for the battery cover yet?
These are rubberized battery covers and thus replace the stock plastic cover. They are from Motorola and are rumored to be out about April 15th. This is why several places show "out of stock", because they aren't out yet.
I have not recieved a shipping confermation, but the store was not showing them as out of stock r estimated shipping date. Now that a320ca said they are nto supposed to be out until the 15th I am worried that the store is a sham because it never told me that.
FYI, I just called them and they said they are out of stock of the Blue one. She asked if I wanted her to check stock on the Green one but I already knew what the answer would be. Store doesn't appear to be a sham but then again, you might want to look into your order if are expecting it sooner than later.
I hope there will be pictures of the cover when people get them. I an intensely eyeballing the green one.
I've also ordered one, from 123cellsupply.com.
I don't have a shipping confirmation yet, either. I've put in several emails to find out the status, but no response yet.
Does the ruggedized battery cover wrap around the front at all, to provide a small protective lip around the screen?
Has anyone actually seen one of these in person?
These are in stock in my local bell store for 29.95. I might consider getting one of these

Really? Where's your local Bell? In the GVA by any chance? I ordered one from Bell online, because it didn't seem like there were any in stock in the Bell stores here in Vancouver... Admittedly, I didn't try very hard to find them.
But my order is still pending, turns out they're out of stock online...
Can someone show me a link?

Yes it wraps around the entire phone
They do look nice.... but to be honest, if it's actually silicon.... i dunno if i'd want it. That's basically my issue with the Otterbox cases. That outside cover attracts dust from alternate dimensions of your pocket. I can't imagine what the rugged battery cover might look like if it's the same material.
i want!! thats simply awesome. i wish amazon had green dangit

Replacement Back Cover

I finally may have found a site that sells replacement back covers for the OGP. While the E980 back looks fine, its cross hatch design is much less appealing to me than the Nexus 4 style the other versions have. For anyone else interested, here's a link:
http://diggloving.com/black-battery-door-back-housing-cover-case-for-lg-optimus-g-pro.html
Unfortunately, the pictures only show the inside. So I can't be sure which pattern is present on the outside. Also, the F240 has an antennae while the E980 doesn't. I'm not sure if that changes the shape of the back. Can anyone confirm if this is so? Hopefully one back size fits all variants.

I'll let you know but other than a ship notice from eBay I don't have it yet. It listed 2 to 4 weeks and if it's anything like other internationally sourced parts it will take at least 3 full weeks to arrive. I'm a little less than a week past the purchase point right now.

Got it! I ordered mine on Friday. Thanks...
I just got mine in the mail. Unfortunately, one of the little flaps that snaps it to the rest of the phone doesn't line up. Presumably this relates to the slightly different design of the F240. When I have some time, I'll try cutting it off and gluing it where it needs to be for the E980.

So you specifically bought an F240 door? I wonder if the ones on eBay marketed as E988 doors have the same problem. Any chance you could take that pic from the site linked above and circle the out of place tab in the picture and post it here? I'd like to compare it to the eBay door pictures.

I received the new E986 rear battery cover and mid-plate today to put on my AT&T E980. As far as I can tell everything looks like it should line up appropriately on both parts. I'm waiting for a new front glass and frame to show and I'm replacing all three simultaneously.
Be advised for consistency sake, the mid-plate is very clearly labeled E986 in etchings. If that bothers you don't order the part from the Spanish distributor. Also the battery door at the top is labeled "G Pro_1 >PC< SY2" where the original E980 door is labeled "SY3" I think. That may be as simple as the very different pattern on the door.
Let me know if there's any other questions. I have midterms the beginning of next week in my masters classes so I probably won't swap the parts till mid late next week. At that point I'll pretty much have a new phone.

It looks like E98X back covers are the way to go. See the attached image for how the F240 back doesn't line up. I started hacking it up with a box cutter. I've almost got it to fit right. I believe it also lacks wireless charging support. I remember reading that the F240 doesn't have it out of the box. I don't currently have a wireless charger to test it on though. Finally, there's "4G LTE" written in the middle. The one posted above doesn't have that, and looks better to me eyes.

It looks like there is not a wireless charging coil on that door for the Qi charging system. I'd return that one and order the door off of eBay out of Spain with the LG logo. It definitely has a Qi charging coil in it.

Just got the back cover I ordered from Ebay in Spain. Snaps on just like the AT&T one and looks to have the wireless charging as well but don't have any way to really test it.
By the way I'm loving the LG cover which has the same patterns as the Nexus 4. The ATT one looks more yellowish and bland in my opinion when compared side by side. Now onto taking the plastic off this new phone, SIM unlocking, Rooting and ATT debloating! Happy the exterior has nothing else ATT-like on board.
I also just got one from Spain. It's definitely the way to go. It fits perfectly and has that excellent Nexus 4 look.

Does anyone else have an E980 back cover they could sell? I bought the phone online, and it only came with the OEM LG folio case. Back cover doesn't have to be perfect condition either as i would cover it with a case.

better get one off ebay mate, it will be your best bargain.
I bought one a few months ago off ebay from a seller with over 100,000 feedback, it was around 9quid. Looks genuine and exactly the same as my previous one and weighs the same, as i've read that the fake chinese ones are lighter than the original one.

Replacing battery, where to buy?

The battery of my almost 3 year old Tab S 10.5 is showing its age. The tablet still works great and I rather replace the battery than spending hundreds on a new tablet. The problem is that there are loads of companies selling the batteries on Amazon and eBay. The reviews on Amazon are mixed with some buyers from the same business saying they work fine and other say they don't work at all. Can someone who replaced their battery with positive results inform me where you purchased it? Thanks

I bought two of these OEM on ebay for both of my Tab S. Two months going strong and even have 2017 manufacturers stamp!
I have tested them extensively and they are not disappointing.
App won't let me post direct link but seller's username is gdcdirect. Easy to replace by googling it and watching videos. Best of luck

You're welcome. Really no need for a toolkit. Just credit card or other thin plastic item to pop off the back. Just take your time and be sure to watch the video and put back together in exact reverse order. The cable clamps are also plastic and can break easy, but there are only two. Scale of 1 to 10 for technical skill needed, barely a 3 imho. Best of luck. Let me know how you make out.

I received the battery from gdcdirect today. It came very fast from California to New Jersey. It was very easy to install and it has a January 2017 date so it is fresh. It had a 55% charge on it so played around with it for a couple of minutes before putting it on charge. I was surprised to find that the tablet is much faster and responsive. I wasn't expecting that. I was just looking for better battery life. I guess after almost 3 years the tablet slowed down so gradually I didn't notice. There is one small concern. There is an area about the size of a marble that's pushed up on one side. I attached a picture but it is really hard to see in the picture. Since It's working OK maybe it's no big deal but I'm going to bring it to the attention of the seller and see what they say.
I'm trying to find a good source for a replacement battery for my Tab S 8.4, too. I've purchased 2 different batteries from gdcdirect on eBay. The first one worked for a couple of months, then started failing. The 2nd one was bad immediately. Now I'm gun shy and I don't know where I can find a reliable vendor. Anybody buy one that has held up for more than a few months?
