I tried installing Vanilla Rom and it said installtion success I rebooted I see nokia logo then android logo it keeps glowing then nothing help me pls ty

Everytime I go to multisim settings, I can't activate any of my sim cards
it just says SIM1SIM2 but nothing else, not like the screenshots on the AOSP/Codeaurora thread

just put "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" at the end of build.prob. & restart ur phone.

Indeed awesome ROM with lots of tweaks and customizations. using this for couple of days no problem so far. everything working including camera,bluetooth,wifi etc.

ya bro m using it on my Nokia XL RM-1030. Here is what i did....
1)Install the minirom KIKTKAT wannabe ROM with TWRP recovery
2)then install Nokia XL patch(STABLE) (It was in Lewa os thread i guess!!!!???)(for screen bug) from TWRP
3)then for camera bug simply flash the patch(in LEWA ROM OP thread) by Aguys (THANKS man) from TWRP
NOTE: after each steps, do a clean reboot. Also note that after flashing the NOKIA XL patch(STABLE) you will loose the softkeys
navbar. But dont worry u can enable it with a simple tweak in build.prop.

I tried to link the file but could not succeed.....anyways its on the Lewa os thread page no.44 and post no #433 by Aguys (thanks again,.....damn forgot to click the thanks button....but doin it right away).

Hey bro, u did't believe me i guess. I wish i could post a screenshot. Anyways i forgot to tell u that after flashing Aguys patch u need to install third party camera app. the stock one in this ROM crashes. And i repeat this is the best custom ROM so far for NOKIA XL. m using it since last 4-5 days. NO BUGS. NO FCs.

I tried putting camera. Apk in system/app and fixed permissions to rw/r/r and flashed Aguys patch but nothing works.... It always says can't connect to camera...

Man oh man.....kindly go through my post thoroughly. u don't need to put any camera apk in system or whatever. Don't do any of these. simply follow my instructions step by step and at last install any third party camera app. SIMPLE. I repeat, the stock camera app crashes.
IN CASE I HELPED U.........U KNOW WHAT TO DO

YES SIR. Simply do that. And i don't think Google camera is supported in android 4.1.2.

Rotation and light sensors all are working with lewa's nokia #2 patch
Just flash rom with lewa patch and aguys camera patch.
Issues-
i have found that accessibility service not working as allowing it for any app like headsup notification causes all app forcefully closed please fix.

Important!!!!!
To all fellow users of this minirom kitkat rom this is to inform you that i found a possible "malware" named Android Faketoken(Trojan) (What is that???!!!) when i scanned the rom's zip file with avast antivirus on my PC. This same "malware" was detedted by Avast in other two roms i.e. minirom s5 normandy and Xperia X by Harkirat gill BUT not in cm11 rom. so, its a request to all u guys using this rom, please scan the rom's zip file in PC and post ur scan results and put some light onto this. After all safety is important.
Note: google search shows that android faketoken is a malware (Trojan) which intercepts One Time Passwords(O.T.P.) while doing on line banking transactions.

I cant send any text message from any of my sim in this rom.how to solve this ?

Hey bro...u can try this to fix it:
just open /system/build.prop and in the end, type in:
Code:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
or if has this line just delete it and reboot
1 = disable*
0 = enable

BRo....there is another Minirom which I m currently using..it has only one bug...I.e. It shows phone memory as SD card memory and vice versa....Rest all is perfect...!!

Installation Instructions:
You need Lewa Recovery for installing KitKat ROM.
- Place the downloaded zips in the root of your SD card.(KitKat_XL,XL_ScreenPatch,XL_CameraPatch)
- Flash the recovery using Nokia X Flasher.(lewa_recovery)
- After you are flashed the Recovery, boot into it by pressing Volume + and power key for 15 seconds.
- Goto Settings->Screen then click to disable screen timeout. Now go back to menu.
- Goto Backup and create one backup. Now go back to menu.
- Goto Wipe then click to Advanced Wipe and select (Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data, System, SDcard, Android Secure) and then Swipe to Wipe.
- Now go back to menu, and choose Install.
- Then choose the ROM zip.(KitKat_XL)
- DONT swipe yet. Choose Add more zips.
- Then choose the XL_ScreenPatch zip.
- Choose Add more zips again and Choose XL_CameraPatch zip.
- Swipe to Confirm. The ROM, Patch and any additional zips will be installed.
- Choose Reboot System. Now Swipe to Fix Permission ( If it gets stuck, don't panic. It's a bug in the recovery. Wait for 5min or else Simply remove the battery, insert it again and power on the device)
- Let it boot. It might take a couple of minutes to boot for the first time.
- Choose Engish Language, Enjoy...!!!

You need Lewa Recovery for installing KitKat ROM.
- Place the downloaded zips in the root of your SD card.(KitKat_XL,XL_ScreenPatch,XL_CameraPatch)
- Flash the recovery using Nokia X Flasher.(lewa_recovery)
- After you are flashed the Recovery, boot into it by pressing Volume + and power key for 15 seconds.
- Goto Settings->Screen then click to disable screen timeout. Now go back to menu.
- Goto Backup and create one backup. Now go back to menu.
- Goto Wipe then click to Advanced Wipe and select (Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data, System, SDcard, Android Secure) and then Swipe to Wipe.
- Now go back to menu, and choose Install.
- Then choose the ROM zip.(KitKat_XL)
- DONT swipe yet. Choose Add more zips.
- Then choose the XL_ScreenPatch zip.
- Choose Add more zips again and Choose XL_CameraPatch zip.
- Swipe to Confirm. The ROM, Patch and any additional zips will be installed.
- Choose Reboot System. Now Swipe to Fix Permission ( If it gets stuck, don't panic. It's a bug in the recovery. Wait for 5min or else Simply remove the battery, insert it again and power on the device)
- Let it boot. It might take a couple of minutes to boot for the first time.
- Choose Engish Language, Enjoy...!!!

1- Lewa OS:
- Nokia X: when you open WiFi the mobile is restarting and stuck in bootloob (Fixed by Back to Lewa OS V3 ).-Thanks to @–NigthFury–
Or you can flash 20141029 Null Kernel from here
- Nokia XL: Can't take screenshots (Fixed by use any Screenshot app with root).
2- Mini Kitkat rom:
Nokia X&XL:
- proximity sensor not working. (fixed by copy these files and paste them in /Device>>System>>lib>>hw)
- SD card internal/external problem (Fixed By @osheen jha Here)
- FM radio is not working.
- Accessibility service is not working .
(last 3 fixed by @ppogra Patch)
3- Mini S5 rom:
Nokia X&XL :
- Bluetooth not working stable. (Fix: Download this app and Copy it to System Apps) (Thanks to Mohamed Abdalla)
- Gallery app crash when editing photos (Fixed by use Alternative Gallery app).
- Fm radio not working (Fixed).
4- CM11 Kitkat 4.4.4:
Nokia X:
- camera wrong colors (Fix for Nokia X Here, Thanks @wielski). And For XL Here By @weritos &me
- auto rotation sensor (Fixed by @rrajesh011 patch here)
- Proximity & light sensor not working (Fix for Nokia X&XL here, Thanks @nguyentuyen).
- accelerometer sensor (Fixed by @swarnakar.ani24 here)
- Nokia XL: screen bug (fixed by Patch #3 thanks to @vishalbiswas)

- Nokia X: No FM radio.

Cm 11 has Screen bug in Nokia XL..
Add this bug too in ur list

If you flash Nokia XL patch to cm 11 it will work well.

Hey bro, the most stable rom in nokia x after stock rom is CM 11, but the camera sucks........ so wats the use of creating tis thread, many has already informed dev abt it but he is busy with his life so for nw no bugs re going to be fixed for nokia X, l even tried fixing it , but no base to work with:crying:
lets just wait for our dev AngSanley coz there is no other way
Even my older device HTC explorer got lollipop:crying:

I tried it too but after flashing the patch my Nokia XL keeps on rebooting again and again!!..
@YSH ALSAGER...pLz tell for sure whether its working or not..
If its worked for u,, then provide us both with the correct procedure!!
