VisStock? What is it?
It is a very lite themed stock rom.
This rom IS NOT heavily modded with mods that slow the rom down.
I removed all of the stock green theme, and added a mod or 2 that is needed for a daily used rom.
Also, ViSiON X is a rom that is updated ONLY with base changes, therefor, there is no need for Change Logs.
(SO DON'T ASK)
All ViSiON X roms will include the same features throughout each release.
So if you are looking for a complete, heavily modded rom, ViSiON X is not for you.
There are many mods that the user can add to the rom on their own.
Makes for a user friendly rom that the user can mod themselves.

First impression
After 4 hours of using it, this ROM is smooth. One issue spotted so far: a few lag open from the sleeping. I have to hit the power button a few time to see the lock screen. Other than that, so far, is very good ROM to start...

Sounds like this rom was built to do exactly what I want my phone to run on. I'll flash this tonight after work. Since it's in the infancy stages, I'd be interested in doing some testing if you'd need anyone also. Nice work :good:

I had this issue once when I used the wrong carrier kernel, so that may be the issue.

So, you think I should reinstall it again with a different kernel offer in Aroma Installer... I had picked the first T Mobile kernel option during my first flash.

That or you could install a custom kernel like ktoonsez. After that it's all about the settings. Sounds like your screen off clock speed is too low (I could be wrong). Try to read up a bit on kernels, helps a lot when trying to find the right settings for your use.

No No, just get into recovery and flash a different tmo kernel...
man, you guys know whats up...thanks for all the help happening here...
Might want to go into S-Voice app, and go to settings an uncheck the -open via home key option, it has something to do with the lag also..

You guys want this rom to fly, Install the KT newest TMO kernel, and in post #2 of his original post are HIS settings, use those settings....
Everyone should try KT kernel with these settings...This will also take care of the random re-boot issue.

Set US Region
Change the following in build.prop:

ro.product.locale.region = US
Fix Wifi
Edit build.prop ro.securestorage.support and ro.securestorage.knox from true to false. If they are already false change to true and then back to false. Reboot.

This is the Ax flash procedure for 5.0 roms.
The instructions in the OP are for more or less, new people to flash.
For you experienced flashers, this is the Ax’s setup and flash procedure for this rom.
I am sure someone could use this info! If you do not like what I say here, just do not respond to it.
Simple as that! Now let’s start, shall we:
N900T device, ATT service.
Bootloader is N900TUVUCNB4 4.4.2
Baseband/Modem is N900TUVUDNE6
Recovery: TWRP 2.8.0.1
Wipe the phone 3 times (Dalvik Cache, System, Data, and Cache)
Flash Vision-X 5.0 rom
Important: FLASHING THE KERNEL
Kernel I use is the one included in the rom. (STOCK NL8)
Have many 5.0 kernels for your device handy at all times, some work better than others.
Even reverting back to and earlier release of a kernel may work better on on any given device.
Reboot
Wait 12-15min – DO IT, for the best results (I wait until the screen times out)
Select Language, Setup wifi, setup name, setup device name, SKIP ALL OTHER PROMPTS.
Now the phone is at the home screen, setup your google account. REBOOT!
Update Titanium Backup from the market, (A MUST or it will not work properly with Lollipop)
Finish the setup, Debloat the rom to your liking and reboot.
Now update ALL APPS FROM MARKET!!! IMPORTANT!
YOU MUST SETUP THE APN FOR YOUR DEVICE - ALSO SETUP CORRECT LANGUAGE FOR THE SAMSUNG KEYBOARD
This rom now is running perfect for me, no problems that I have seen yet! Very Stable!
Now you have a PROBLEM FREE ROM! Enjoy!
It does not get easier than this…..SIMPLE!

Keep in mnd this is a intl base release, so there is NO wifi-calling, if the demand is there I will do an official MI7 version of Vision X.
For myself, on the S4, I totally stayed with intl releases, they have quicker updates, and a few more needed features....so....

I believed that issue has been fixed with the latest versions of twrp. I haven't tried restoring them yet, but others have had success.

well he said he didnt change it from the T-Mo version... so that means no loki, and no att apns. not a big issue really. one thing I will remind you, you will probably lose root by flashing this. he did post the fix in the form of a recovery flashable superSU.
Give it a shot. I had it on my phone earlier today, but restored a nandroid of my old ROM as I needed my sms from last week.

Rom flashed fine for me, didn't lose root. So far it looks nice. Flashing crap pack and mods. Nice job dannyben!

VISION Q&A
1. Q: My baseband says MI7. Am I really running Kit Kat?
A: Yes! The baseband is set by the bootloader. Since this custom Rom has a modded kernel to work on the JB baseband. You can flash 4.3 or 4.4.2 roms with no worries.
2. Q: Do I need to update to the new bootloader to run this Rom?
A: No, if you have custom recovery 4.3 or 4.4.X you can run this rom.

Is there any benefit to updating the bootloader? Modem?

Modem we can update, bootloader...WAIT until we hear something, I will build the rom to where this bootloader will not affect us, for the time being!

You know of any others? never used anything but this one?

Mine downloaded without any problem in under 20 min. I'm using chrome in my pc tho.

I only see the v were is us tmobile dl?

Its there, if you are on your phone, it looks blue just like the rest of the message...sorry, I have tried numerous times to change the color, to no avail....I changed to to look like >>>> DOWNLOAD, should be visible now....
