Did you install the KitKat version of Viper?
If yes then go to Settings > Sound > Music Effect > Select Viper4Android

I m ok with manual edit of sound level in xml file + stock DSP manager for Redmi1S
ViperAndroid is good tool and I use it on Nexus 7 (2013) which doesn't have too much of loudspeaker volume.

There are many who don't know what to do & are still facing the issue, rather than telling them what to do & what not to, this flashable Zip fill fix it as flashing is an easy process.
Some users make mistakes while editing xml and we don't want that to happen do we? While this might not happen in most cases...but still why take the risk?
SoundFix MOD is not just a simple xml edited MOD. :angel:
Sure DSP is good and gives a good audio experience but Viper4Android is for those who are looking for more than just listening to Music that's why i posted it as a suggestion bro. :good: :victory:

Installed a Mokee nightly 2nd Nov , since then I hv been using ROMs from xda on & off ..
In my free time,whenever I have a 2 hour window .. cwm backup + sdcard change ... overnight use .. if major issue then revert on backup and back to office @work.
I will be doing zipaligning ,supercharging ,Lagfix & purePerformance mods once I fix my ROM.. then I keep things same for a year or couple..
Even mokee nightlies in previous week were not agreeable due to change of ext/sdcard

I previously was on AOSPA ♥ the gaming, but cam wasn't upto mark so used Google Camera & the pic taken using it was impressive > PIC < then i faced some issues with stock camera (not able to capture anything using front cam) , i could fix it (reset app data) but i wanted to try new mokee release anyway so switched to it & i'm lovin it ♥

Yes, ported stock cam has few shortcoming like absence of burst mode..
mokee is decent ROM , but we will always have suspicion on China ROMs because "reasons"..
Anyways after every flash of nightly, before booting it first time , I mount /system and /data in CWM n get rid of any Chinese Apps.
in /system/app
in /system/third-app
in /data/app
in /data/priv-app
in /data/third-app
These chinese ware keep changing places and I have to search them everytime I flash new.
After that push some apps in /system/
PerformanceControl-2.2.5.apk -> /system/app/
TitaniumBackup.apk -> /system/app/
bootanimation.zip -> /system/media/
unmount /system /data in cwm and restart..

Try SetCPU with profiling, useful for switching frequency for different events. (saves battery)
The Survival Profile is activated when my battery is below 30%/when cpu temp is high/when battery temp is high (any of these)

Hey bro first of all this is amazing its work like a charm.
But i think something wrong with my redmi 1s
Flash this using cwm recovery flashed successfully
Used whole day sound quality was just awesome
But when i reboot my device its stucks on mi logo always i tried thrice but it as it is stucks on mi logo then i reboot to recovery mood and done factory data reset and clear cach and then reboot its now working.
Then again i reboot my device to check what happens but this again stucks on mi logo.plz help me whats wrong with this...?each and every time when i reboot my phone i have to do factory data reset...please help...thanx

[CONFIRMED] MHL doesn't work.

Where is the Superuser App?
The Superuser App is now part of CM. You can find it in the Setting under the System category. Make sure you enable root access for Apps in the Superuser settings. In case you can't find it enable the "Developer options" by tapping "Build number 7" in "About phone" 7 times and enable root access there.
Where are the Sweep2Wake, Button Backlight Notifications, NVIDIA Smart Dimmer and Fast Charge Settings?
Gone or moved to other menus. But the functionality is still in the framework. See second post for details.

Hidden by default. Go to "About phone" and press "Build number" seven times to show it.

Nvidia SmartDimmer (disabled by default)
Now called "Adaptive backlight". Setting was moved to the "Display & LED" menu.
All settings where you manually have to execute a command are not persisted between reboots. You can use a third party app that supports toggling the settings or you can put the commands into /data/local/userinit.sh to apply them at boot.
Workarounds
The fixes here have either not yet made it into the official CM sources or will likely never accepted because they are crude hacks.
Important system files will be overwritten! To restore them you need to flash CyanogenMod again!

U cant update without caring about Kernel unless u have S off Device, or Use Kernel Lighter of @Thunder07

Here are the logs I promised for my nfc problem.

I don't know whether it's answered before, but after I got the sense update, my phone is a lot cooler and consumes less battery when listening to music but ofcourse it does stutter at times when listening to music like I'm on eps energy saving mode where the processor goes below 102 mhz. Nevertheless it's a lot cooler. My question here is..
Has anyone looked into the audio blobs and the kernel changes from sense 5..? I know HTC has messed audio blobs and we are still using ics blobs.. what if we use the sense 5 blobs ?? Maybe that might fix the audio problem..

This is not entirely true. The kernel is one part the other is the ramdisk with its init scripts. So you also have to check https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_htc_endeavoru/commits/cm-10.2 and https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_htc_tegra3-common/commits/cm-10.2 for related changes. But you won't directly see if a change affects the ramdisk.
Most of the time you will be fine if you don't flash the boot.img. But before reporting problems make sure you flashed it. I will probably announce when I'm doing bigger changes to the kernel. But not before HTC releases the sources.

Well I tried and failed as many other people before me. I don't know why. Either HTC has made custom changes to the API that we don't know about or I ****ed up all the time. Reading and understanding assembler is also not my best talent .
I have a possible fix for the audio problems that I need to get packaged up nicely so you guys can test it. But I think I'm too lazy today. My Weekends are somehow always a bit exhausting .

I have a problem to report from an older nightly and which isn't fixed after flashing the most current one:
When selecting front camera and taking pics with a face in it, camera crashes with the message "gallery stopped working". Pics taken before crash won't be available in the gallery afterwards, so front camera is pretty much useless right now.

Can you get me a logcat? Also try cleaning Gallery app data and try changing the picture resolution.

Here are the logs I promised for my nfc problem.
The first one is when I try to receive an image. As I said before, my phone detects it has to receive, but than it just opens the playstore with a non existing link - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/28149756/nfc_receive_fail.txt
I have changed the stock Gallery2.apk with the leaked 4.3 gallery app from GE phones, but I doubt that has to do anything with the problem.

Thanks, but I'm not sure why it's failing. The failure log contains http://market.android.com/details?id=com.sec.android.directshare. There is not a single mention of "directshare" in my Android code base. So I guess that is something from GE blobs. I would recommend you test it again with a unmodified CM ROM.

Yep, logging is enabled all the time and quite verbose at the moment. Lots of debugging stuff in there. It should be less once RC and stable builds roll out. Are you concerned about battery life?

installation:
- At first install the Official B127 Update on ur Phone, be sure u have stock-recovery installed before u try to install the UPDATE.APP. (without the B127 update u have bootloops after install CM 11 )
- Firmware B127 >>> DOWNLOAD-THREAD <<<
- After that please flash CWM [ Download-Thread ]
- Booting into the CWM and make a backup.
- Make Fatory reset.
- go into Mounting selection and Format: System, Cache, Data, SDcard-/data/media
- Now the install CM11-ROM.zip
- Install GoogleApps.zip
- Restart the device.

If you're getting error messages while trying to flash the CyanogenMod zip, THEN FOLLOW THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS.
If your device doesn't boot into CM, reboot to Recovery, goto "Mounts & Storage" and select "Format cache" followed by "Format /data and /data/media". Then reboot!

Sorry but what do you want from me?! Take a look at FIRST POST: distorted voicecall is a KNOWN issue. I have not tested the Rom yet and i wont until this issue is fixed.

Wtf??! My last comment on this: take a look at "known issues" (skydsler's first post). "Voice is distorted on calls". I have not tested the rom yet and so i dont have the issue. I have no Hardware Problem (cause Rom not flashed!!!) , its a known Rom issue... (In german i would say you are a Dau...)
If fixed, i will try the Rom.

i have no problems with the voice calls. Only HD-Voice is not supported. You can make any call without problems... Quality of calls are good.
The fingerprintsensor is a little bit tricky ive tested a lot of configurations with the config, lib and HW Files, but no succsess. Looking forward to fix it. Its a biiig feature that i wont miss at my MT7

HD vocie is controlled by OP.. they STILL cant be arsed put voice via 4G .. STILL crappy 3G where sound is canny like 32 or 64kbps mp3 ..

Clear instructions all went well, CM11 booted up normaly. 2 things, 1st there is no keyboard installed just google voice, 2nd some chinese applications are installed. Will post back later when. Have some questions, hope someone can help me with ... CPU governer is set to performance on default?, changed it to Interactive. CWM only see's clockworkmod folder not whole internal sd.
Very smooth so far, no FC's or any onwanted behaviour. Looks good, sound on phone dial could be better but i can live with that for now, im using alot of SIP VOIP...

Too many chinease apps, and when you take picture with camera , picture is saved rotated by 180 degres. I did not tested for more bugs, I returned to stock because this rom needs to be clean up from useles apps and chinease apps.

PLZ DON'T MIRROR THIS POST OR THE ROM WITHOUT GIVING PROPER CREDITS
Installation Instructions*Take a nandroid backup if you want to restore your previous rom, incase anything goes wrong.
1. Wipe cache, Dalvik cache, System, Data
2. Flash rom
3. Flash gapps right after flashing rom (important)
4. turn device off..
5. Extract boot.img from this rom.zip and flash it using SPFT. (important)
6. Start your device.
7. If the touch is unresponsive and no sim is detected then goto recovery and flash codelover's kernel swapper and modemfix.
[ I think modem fix doesn't work in cm13...if it works, you are lucky but if it doesn't work then copy "catcher_filter_1_wg_n.bin" and "modem_1_wg_n.img" file from your stock rom's system/etc/firmware folder and paste and replace these two files in cm13's system/etc/firmware folder] (if you change these files in the cm13 rom zip file then you don't need to change permissions. but if you are doing it with root explorer then don't forget to change their permission to rw-r-r)
9. Reboot the phone and wait for the cm13 to bootup. The rom should boot within 10 mins.

updating the rom links now.

The adb is working? Because i have this rom installed and i try to use the apk mass install tool, and the phone was showing that depuration is active, but the program is not recognizing the phone, with 12.1 i use this tool without problems

i haven't noticed yet cse i was busy fixing bugs...but if there is any heating issue, i'll try to port thermal configurtion from reynard1 beta2 rom..i don't know if i can do it or not.

Im using it and i haven't noticed any overheating, and battery life is not the best but is pretty normal, same as others cm Roms. This is a pretty good ROM, thanks very much Pavel, another think that i noticed is that when battery is over (15%) the phone starts to getting a little slow, but that makes the battery last a little longer, in others cm with 5% practically the phone is discharge, in this with 5% and battery saver enabled you can use the phone (normaly) for about 10 - 12 minutes. I will try with the adb again

hi guys, which recovery should i use to flash this rom? with cwm i get status 7 error and with twrp after flashing and reboot it hangs on the cyanogen logo and doesn't go any further!

Just extract the "Xiaomi_Mi_A1_*****.zip" and get the mixers and place them in your

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
This MOD can be used with Equalizers, but this mod sets the phone to the loudest balanced volume gain...
Using Equalizers might cause crackles and noise which damage your earpiece if you don't fix it, to fix it either you adjust the other MOD settings by reducing the boost
or Adjusting my MOD by Opening Mixer_paths_mtp.xml and edit value 84 to 80 or less for earpiece and values for 5,56 (you may not need to change these) are for speaker,
change at your own risk, eleminate all crackles and noises...
Each Device and brand have different SAFE LEVELS however things to Consider:
--- for earpiece: upto 10 value increase is safe ( value 84 to 94 or 95 is Safe)
--- for Speaker: upto 10-20 gain and 1-2 value increase are safe (value 56 to 66-76 and 5 to 6-7)
Keep in mind increasing the volume will cause you issues when using it with other sound mods such as Viper, Dolby, etc...

The BuzzFix: It Significantly reduces the Buzz, not eliminate it completely due to "impedance" can't be modified through the mixers, you should hear it very less as reported by the tester...
--- for headphones: default was 84, it was decreased to 65 to reduce unwanted buzz as tester mentioned "The Volume in headphones is very loud at mid point, so max volume is a very rare case for someone to use...", you may raise it but not more than 90 but you'll bust your ear as it's very loud you'll also hear & I quote "LOUD HUMMING BIRDS CHIRPING IN YOUR EARS", raising the Volume will raise the Buzzing sound as well...

Bless you :angel:, but before magisk, it must be done manually first, once everything is captured correctly, the magisk part wouldn't take much time...
if you still want to be a magisk tester, then you'll have to wait a bit longer...

Manual as in file explorer, copy, paste and change permissions...
It's pretty much useless to make magisk do that to wrong files...
Manual will confirm the MOD working, then you can put back your original mixers and install Magisk MOD....

If I am not mistaken that would be the CSC file which will mismatch the stock...
he will be playing with mixers in "system/etc" or "system/vendor/etc" which shouldn't be related to OTA or Warrenty Void...

Modifying system files will break OTA in MI A1 case. Anyway that's not an issue for me. If u wish u can provide files. Since no response from u regarding my Testing offer i am leaving now. U can always ping me if u need testers

Known issues:
- Flashlight is dead in some apps. This is because Xiaomi camera blobs have issues with Camera2API (HAL3) which is enabled by default, as per A12's requirements.
- Some videos (.webm files) will not play correctly. This is due to some underlying issue with the hardware VP9 decoder

New update is up fixing a bunch of issues reported in the previous build
Changelog:
* Resolved some sepolicy issues
* Fixed dual SIM RIL issues
* Fixed the goodix cleaning script
* Fixed the HAL switch once again
* Fixed hotspot bricking WiFi after it was turned off
* Notable kernel changes (from before):
- Upstreamed to 4.9.299
- Some scheduler changes to improve interactivity

So smooth and I love the look and feel of it.

This ROM is 1st class
Ahhhh perfect.
I clean installed this rom yesterday and so far loved it. With linked gapps.
It has been very smooth and bugless.
Battery consumption looks very good, let's see it in a few more days.
The camera, however, is very simple and doesn't have normal options such as panorama.
I don't know if we can have another camera version flashable.

You can use battery saver I guess, but there is no way to explicitly remove only that vibration

If by the keypad you mean the Gboard (Google keyboard): you can go to Gboard preferences and turn off "haptic feedback on keypress"
If you mean the navigation buttons: Accessibility > vibration & haptic strength > touch feedback > off

I believe that is "format data" before you enter to the advanced wipe like wipe system and wipe data.

Hello and thank you for your work. I have a bug to report about incoming calls. When I get a call, phone rings as it should be but sometimes screen does not wake up on its own and if I try to wake it up manually with power button, the call disappears entirely. Phone keeps ringing but other than that the call can not be seen on the screen. After the caller hangs up I get the "missed call" notification. This happens not so rarely so it kinda makes the rom unusable for me. Funny thing is that same problem happened with some other roms as well both android 11 and 12 builds. I tried to find a solution for this online but I could not find anything, am I the only one who is having this problem?
