Any chance to get a real dark theme that works on a Z3c?
I've seen plenty of dark themes, but they might have some brown or blue but 'm talking about real dark/black.
If you've ever used slimroms or carbon you know what I'm talking about

Please post in the right forum and you want that theme ? Install a cm rom and you can install a plenty of themes like that !

I posted here because:
1. It's a themes section (it's called Themes and Apps).
2. I've got a Sony device.
3. I can't find a section on xda where there are as many themes for sony devices as in this one.
4. I'll install cm as soon as we can unlock the Z3c bootloader without DRM issues.
However, it seems that I'm wrong with all my assumption - given that you are much more senior than me, maybe you can point me towards a more appropriate section of xda where I can ask my question, instead of telling me what not to do? (no irony/anger - I really mean it, any help is appreciated)

4: you can back up your DRM keys, unlock your bootloader and restore then the DRM keys
No you are not wrong buddy and i told yet where you can find the themes or what todo and i know it is not irony or with anger meanings.

There's not a method for restoring the DRM keys for the Z3c yet
and yes, I have tried on google play and other threads but can't find anything, hence the request here.
Anyhow, this is going nowhere, it seems.

Long time reader first time poster. Im currently running 1.6.3 candy kat on my HTC ONE M8. I tried flashing the candy5 beta but had a problem where my launcher kept crashing. I did a dirty flash. Would a clean flash of the ROM fix it? Sorry I'm a noob at this. I really like this ROM. It's been my daily driver and I'd like to try the beta.

Looks nice and all, but I will never install another one of your builds, the way you have installation set up, it hijacked my whole phone and screwed up the partitions and even had trouble getting into recovery again, all said and done I still had to re-root phone, never again, your builds need to got to a traditional way of installation like everyone elses so it will not screw their phones up and give them problems.....thanks but no thanks.

Maybe I'm missing something, but aroma installation is almost the standard method now. What's different?
@Arctic Prodigy, if you paid close attentions or even read the post, you'll know that the ROM is not mine! I CLEARLY Stated that It is not my work, i am just posting it here to benefit the respectful people of XDA Forum. Other than that, please read the Changelog, and don't judge without trying. It is a new build with new changes.

Doesn't matter whose ROM it is, if it happens to screw peoples phones up they should know about it, may not be your build, but you are definitely providing it.

OP seeing that you requesting the thread be locked, can you also delete the download links? Are you not wanting the Rom to be downloaded? If so, please delete the download link from the 1st post.

Im new here so im sorry if there is thread like this somewhere , i dont want to spam the forum i just couldnt find anything that would help me .
Well the thing is ive got bored of my standard LG G3 , and i want to customize it a little bit.
My G3 is not rooted , as i never done it before to any of my phones , i was always scared i could mess something up and brake it . so im new to all this stuff.
I know i can always use popular launchers from the store , but i dont trust them i always through they slow my phone down , and its not right to use it .
So my question is are there any ways of customing my G3 without rooting /launcher or do i need to Man up And Root my phone ? (can someone please explain to me , whats the most common reasons people root their phones?) .

Simply no because in stock rom we don't have theme manager like in CM or other custom ROM. So for customize or change looks of stock rom you have to be rooted so that you can change default apk with themed one (some available themes you have in theme section).

first there is help/troubleshooting section so you can post your ask there, and about why people need to root their phone it's simple they like to have full control and system access, the benefits of that many like flash costume recovery like TWRP you can back up all your data,other thing you can remove pre-installed apps and many more others things

Untrue. As shown in previous posts, there are some themes available without root, on the Play Store, and even on LG's Smartworld app. I'm actually using an theme app from LG's Smartworld. Have a look and see what you may like on there. (many good themes on there but, I found a nice one.) If you want the one I have, it's called Night Sky. I use it for the icons.

Hi.. Just check cyanogen site. It says that the zip has to flashed only on cm 12. 1 and above rom. I doubt it would work on our O2 rom

That's the basis for open distribution. Everything is a niche. Get used to it. That's why we differing GAPPS packages, different ROMs, and a choice in our operating system.

i have bought new Z2 play from ebay china seller, i have some questions about it !
* how i can check it real genuine moto Z2 play !

Hmm, there are a few things you could try:
1)Power off your device. Then hold both the power button and volume down. You should be in a bootloader screen. Does your bootloader look like this https://goo.gl/images/jgfx4w or like https://goo.gl/images/Bjkfg1 - if like the 2nd image as on a genuine Z2 Play, does it mention albus in the info screen? Does your baseband begin with M8953...? To exit that screen, choose Start with the volume keys and press the power key to select the option.
2) is the device well built, is it fast? Does the camera take sharp photos?
3) download AIDA64 or CPU-Z or DevInfo (or any good hardware info app) and look at the reported CPU, clock speeds and available RAM/storage. Does that match what you bought and what may have been written on the box (Snapdragon 625/626, 2.2 GHz etc)?
Also, you could run the Antutu Officer app to check.
Hmm, you may have ZUI on a genuine Z2 Play, since it appears Z2 play devices in China do have the different skin https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/m.gs...ay_comes_with_zuks_zui_in_china-amp-25882.php I hope someone else can suggest methods to change to a retail stock ROM if it's possible.
You might've bought an actual Chinese Moto Z2 Play, which runs Lenovo's ZUK UI instead of stock Android. Remember that.

There plenty of threads in the Z2 forums here which tell you how to update. I have same phone. Original software is terrible but I flashed new software and working well now. I did have to unlock bootloader though.
Plenty to read in other forums on this.
