[Q] Music Goes Quiet When Playing Games. - Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

WHY when i listen to Music Whilst Playing Games the volume to my Music goes down??
Its annoying is there way to stop this, i've tried turning down all sounds from game but it still happenes.
please help its annoying.
thanks trimbal.

Probably has something to do with the sound API for the music player. There might be a setting in your music player to not lower the volume when other sounds play over the speaker.
It's meant to be useful like when you're listening to music and a notification or your GPS has an announcement, the music lowers automatically so you can here it.

Try turning off the game music and sound effects. Then close game, start music player and then start game.

thanks for replys
No none of that work...has any1 else had this problem? ?
and any other help.
thanks.

You need to troubleshoot. Try different music players. Pandora, Google play, different music players (loads to choose from).
Do they all do it?

[Q] BIG ISSUE: Music cutting out from notification

Ok say my previous phones were both Nexus devices, when I listen to music and sound is on it would lower the music volume and play the notification sound. Now on my Galaxy S3 when it comes in it completely cuts out and this is VERY annoying for an avid music listener. Is there a way to fix this?
I've seen online I can use power AMP and I will be good but I would like to use the Samsung Music Player.
I also know I can set it to vibrate to stop the sound from going off but the thing is, I like hearing the sound I just hate it completely cutting out the music. Any ideas would be useful!

[Q] a way to disable music player as default when using a2dp control?

greetings,
just picked up this Note II. Loved the first one, so I know I will love this one as well. but the thing I do a lot on my Note and now II is listening to downloaded podcasts using either my car's bluetooth or my bluetooth headphone. what's happening is, if I start my podcast player app, use it for a while then close it. then later on in the day fire up the default music player to listen to some music, exit out of music player. then when firing up my podcast player again, if I use my usual ad2p music control to play/pause, the default music player gets invoked, and so I can't use ad2p to control my podcasts anymore (I didn't try rebooting yet but I hope I don't need to). I can't seem to find a way to disable music player as the default app that gets fired up when using ad2p control; please advise if you have a way.
much thanks in advance!

Galaxy S4 [5.1.1 CyanogenMod] "Don't Pause!" Does Not Work With DFX Music Player

[5.1.1 CyanogenMod] "Don't Pause!" does not work with DFX music player
Hello everyone,
I know this is not the first time you read this, however the only solution posted out there did not seem to do the trick for me.
We are all aware that OS interruptions cause music to stop playing on devices, something REALLY annoying because the song plays again once resumed. Even worse, when using DFX music player, the music resumes without the effect that has made DFX music player so popular among audiophiles.
After digging around a little bit, I've found out that the application "Don't Pause" is supposed to solve this problem. Unfortunately it doesn't: after a notification pops up, the DFX music player stops and I am forced to resume it manually. That's not all, the song starts again and the DFX effect is turned off.
I've tried muting notifications, it didn't help out at all.
Is there anything I can do to avoid music from stopping when receiveing a notification?
Thanks!

music gets paused

Anyone know how to stop the Samsung music app from pausing music when you load or swap to a game?
I don't think it's the music app, but the game claiming media controls.
my solution is just to manually resume music whenever a game pauses it.

I turn the audio options off, on all my games so I don't think it's that.
I tend to flick through several games at any one time and to have to have my music interrupted and broken up the whole time is incredibly annoying
it's irrelevant.
even if a game's sound is turned off it still announces "i want media controls", which causes all media playing locally to pause.

Low clarity of music when played with music player.

Music quality is destroyed when playing music over headphones with music player (eg.google play music). My phone is Nokia 6.1. No problem on YouTube or any other apps. Only music player apps. Music gets very distorted and noisy and very bad. Please help.
have you tried other music player?
Yes
I have tried a lot of music players. It won't work. But there is no problem in playback when music played in file manager. Please suggest a solution. It is a really bad issue for me.

maybe the equalizer may be the problem
I have tried the equalizer too. And even turned it off. It doesn't work.

The only thing that occurs to me is that you try hard reset
