cradle charger - Asus ZenWatch

I want an extra cradle pad for charging.
Anyone knows where to buy one?

I wouldn't mind a few of them. I figured they should be much less expensive than, say, an official Moto 360 charging station. I haven't even bothered tracking down Qi chargers for my nexus 5, so I figured wireless isn't necessarily a big deal for me. If the zenwatch docks are expensive though, I might re-think the whole thing.

Extra cradles would be very handy
What might also be nice is a cradle-less charger option - just a USB lead with a magnetic plug similar to the Pebble. It would certainly make it easier for travelling.
Or even better if somebody released a micro-usb -> Zenwatch plug adapter, so you could use a regular charging lead and carry even less.

Just searched both eBay and Amazon and none have the charging cradle. I suspect that these will be in demand when they become available for sale.

If you know anyone in Taiwan, you may ask them to buy one for you! I am looking for one also in Hong Kong, but Asus Hong Kong said not available yet! However, I found it available at on-line store in Taiwan (NT$999) http://www.eclife.com.tw/pc_nb/moreinfo_98067.htm.

Thanks for the search. I plan to visit in Taiwan in March. I will look for one there.

It seems that you can only buy the charger and/or band as an add-on item (meaning you need to buy a watch too!). This is crazy. I have the watch, I just need another charging cradle. Hopefully they will see their error.

Seems to be fixed now, you can just purchase the charger alone.

Yep, just bought one. It's here:

Just ordered a spare charger and a dark-brown strap from the UK store, delivery expected later this week.

Car Charger + Wall Charger $6.49

Saw these on Overstock.com
Wall + Car Charger for Motorola Xoom
Says Shipping only costs you $2.95 in the lower 48 so total you're paying $9.44 not including any Tax I would assume. I paid ~$25 for just the car charger when I first got my Xoom.
Saw these, I already own them but looks like a great deal for 'em, even if it's just for the Car Charger!
I don't believe these are Xyboard or w/e it is compatible as I think that charges off Micro USB.
Have a good one all.
You can also get the original Motorola ones from Staples for 2.50 each. I got the car charger for 2.50 at my local Staples in Los Angeles, CA.

Can you, if you still have it, give us the Staples SKUs for each charger? Thanks.
(In any case this is a lucky find as I just broke the middle pin on my car charger today!)
I don't have the SKUs anymore, but the model # of the car charger is SJYN0597A. It was on clearance for $2.50 at the local Staples.

Guess I know where I'm going at lunch. Hopefully they have them here.
No luck at Staples in Cedar Rapids, IA. They didn't have any car chargers and all of their Xoom stuff was full price.
No luck at the few I'd tried in Silicon Valley, either. What zip are you in, "powerchilango"? I actually live in SoCal (and work in NoCal) and can try some stores when I get home.
No luck in Las Vegas either.
I'm beginning to think that this may have been a store only special in that posters area.
Id rather spend the 7 bucks and save the gas - having them ship is much easier.

OK, so my units (I bought two apiece) showed up yesterday. I'd expected cheap Chinese knockoff-quality units, but the worst part is the tips don't make a good connection to the charge port unless you wiggle it a little 'tll you find the right spot, and don't move them around after that.
They're OK for the price for an emergency backup, but don't expect to use them to replace an official Moto unit long-term.

SO true. I'll leave 'em in the other car and in my desk in case I REAAAAALY need to charge in an emergency (and expect to have to hold it all the time), but yeah, it's like they didn't even test 'em first.
I'm almost tempted to leave a review on o.co to warn other Xoomers.
I could have sworn I saw these were original OEM Motorola chargers. That's why I got them. Guess I was wrong. Beware everybody....

Great Price, here in Brazil original charger cost $60-$70 dollars.

Are MHL cables basically the same??

Hi guys
I seen these cables as cheap as 5.00 up to 30.00 and up for this adapter
So did anyone try the cheap ones and do they work just as good as the Samsung adapters???
I find no difference. I bought dealerextreme.
Sorry for my english.
no problem thx
It's a standard connection type, so they should all be the same (although manufacturing quality may not be the same on some of those cheaper ones I guess).
i bought one at monoprice and the screen constantly flickers from the note. ive heard others say the same thing and that the official samsung mhl adapter does not do this. any truth to this?
I have a few HTC chargers at home and a car charger none of them work on the note.so even though the port may look the same there seem to be some differences.the same might apply for MHL cables as well.
On ebay there are some cheap adapters which described as "genuine" (search f.e for item 120834740772). Is it really genuine Samsung?
Has anyone bought and tried it?
I bought this:
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/samsun...-galaxy-s2-i9100-i9188-i9000-more-black-95031
Works fine for me.

Don't buy those. They are very bad quality, USB connector broken off. They are either Samsung QA failed item or knock off. The seller trying to trick you into believing it's OEM with packaging. Stay away.

Yes, I also thought there's something wrong there.
Too much to be be truth.
I got a cheap one and the screen does flicker to white noise, for a couple of milliseconds every now and then, so basically works perfect.
I bought a $10 one from amazon (ASIN: B005SV08SK) and it seems to work good. It came with an extra usb cable to power it too.
I'm glad I sold mine that came with the 4 infuses on Ebay back when we bought them. They were going for big bucks and I made out like a bandit

TBH, you can't go wrong with the Motorola charger. It's solid, name brand, and quick charges. (plus it's roughly 4.85 on amazon) The problem with ebay is fakes... for something like this.
Griffin 2A usb charger (charger only) use with a good microusb cable and you will never buy anything else again...
This thing charges so fast its crazy. And it's great quality, though expensive...
Be careful online.. Griffin sells their throw aways for super cheap in package so they look like retail products... (the upc might be 1 off or something)

The one on amazon is real, the one you posted looks fake. The original motorola pushes out 950mA. Your mileage may very with a fake. Plus, it's half the price on amazon. Why wouldn't you be able to use amazon over ebay?

Energizer as long as you want " Qi " - ebay: about $25 or so....and also on Amazon...do not buy LG (Same as Verizon's pad)as it has an alarm when fully charged and not a good bedside charger nor anywhere else. Energizer automatically turns off when fully charged - no alarm!

The speaker can be removed on the lg mat very easily.
the panasonic is probably the best one, you can put the phone anywhere on the mat, and the mat automatic locates the position, you can lay two phones on the mat and the mat will charge one, when finished it will locate the second phone and charged that.
the mat is also the most expensive of them all.

It's not the most expensive one, the Zens is. It's from my country and the cheapest is 50 euro's, about $65.
The Panasonic is for $54 on Ebay from Japan, with shipping it is also $65 to The Netherlands.
Don't know wich one to get, how does the system work with lcoating the device, won't that break down after a while, sounds mechanical...

It's stupid that the dual one is cheaper than the single one...
With shipping it it not really cheaper then buying the Zens here in the Netherlands, and it is also better looking
Really like the Panasonic one, but I'm skeptical about the detecting system because it means moving parts inside...

But I keep skeptical about it, it can break down and then you got a worthless charger...

So, I was able to just toss it on one of my Qi compatible chargers I had and it seemed fine, I didn't notice any overheating or anything, I'm pretty sure all the Qi chargers charge at about the same power level.
Well you're wrong there are qi chargers which are not compatible you need to read some posts about

It is possible that some of them don't work, I didn't try all of them... I can always post what worked for me, I'll have to look it up, got it a long time ago through ebay since I used it for my nexus 5.
That said, the 'approved' chargers aren't really that expensive anyway and can be purchased from any best buy.

The one I have is a no-name brand one I got back in June 2013.. This one looks like it:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Qi-Wireless...l_Phone_PDA_Chargers&var=&hash=item2a44915bdb
I also noticed though, if you feel more comfortable with a product that they advertise works with moto 360 (again, I'm not sure why one wouldn't and I hadn't heard of certain ones not working), if you search ebay for 'moto 360 qi charger', you'll get a number of chargers in the $20 range, like this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Qi-Wireless...l_Phone_PDA_Chargers&var=&hash=item3398079e15
I can say that the Nokia D900 and the Choe Wireless one from Amazon work just fine.
Just get this. Works great.
