Looking for: Stock AT&T Desire eye Nand - HTC Desire Eye

Hey everyone,
Can someone make a nand backup via twrp that's on att to share so I can use it to restore my system files I've lost? It would be very much appreciated! Ota update is failing after I deleted the carrier iq files.

is there a TWRP available for this device and how do you unlock the bootloader?

Twrp is here on xda and go to htcdev.com for not loader unlock instructions

Ok so I can't use Google Factory image with CWM?
And, If I use fastboot, I lost CWM , lockbootloader and root or not ?
Thx

You will lose cwm and root. Doesn't unlock your boot loader. But its easy to use fast boot to return everything back or use gnex tool to do it for you. Its stickied in the development section .

The factory images from Google are not pack properly for use with CWM. I plan to do it as soon as I have some spare time, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
To use fastboot, your bootloader needs to be unlocked. Yes, you will lose all your data (including /sdcard) if you unlock. And yes, you will lose root if you flash the factory images ,but it doesn't matter, as getting root back with an unlocked bootloader is trivial. Same thing with CWM, getting it back is trivial.

Can't use fastboot with a locked bootloader.
But if he is already unlocked his boot loader. Fast boot won't be a problem for him ( unless he is rooted without unlocking the boot loader using your method efrant.

You can flash the image from Google, your bootloader will stay unlocked. The only reason for you to lock the bootloader is to send it for repairs. Other than a hardware malfunction, you can fix anything that happens to your gnex. Everything can be done with fastboot or if you're new. The gnex tool software.
Okey Thanks you at all

How to unlock boot loader LG E 975

Hello
This is my first post on xda forums. I just purchased LG optimus G E975 ( indian version ) yesterday
I have used this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2163814
to root my phone and I there is no error in rooting and I can find the superuser app installed.
I have a simple doubt by using the above guide is my bootloader still locked or it's unlocked in the process ??
I also want to keep my stock android and don't want to use Custom ROM as of now ( I would like to explore features that LG provided )
I just want to unlock my bootloader and have full root access and want to install custom ROM clockworkmod.
Thank you
read carefuly here:

Succes ? I'll get my e975 in a few days. And of course want to unlock BL, root and if there are some, to flash custom kernel.
FreeGee not working on E975(yet).I have E975 10c(4.1.2)(Orange romania) and i also want cwm on it.Rooting procedure is very easy, took me about 1 minute(thanks fiddy for that).
Unfortunately i couldn't find anything related to cwm.
Also, is there way to check bootloader status?
Thanks.
CWM is not available and will not be.
unlock is working with another version of freegee.
but is not public and Shelnutt2 is working on an easier way, but he need some files.
please try the latest freegee beta: http://downloads.codefi.re/shelnutt2/optimusg/freegee/FreeGee-beta.apk
starts the unlock method and upload the files for freegee to support your rom in the future.
thanks
more infos at the related Freegee threads
Already did that.And if we'll have TWRP,even better .

Just an update, as soon as some from HK or tw can send me the ICS sbl stack we can move forward with a better unlock. If no one offers up to dump the images soon I might have to ask someone on an e975 to kdz to their ICS firmware and grab them for me.

i waitting freegee for my e975 v10b
then help Shelnutt2 and install a compatible ics kdz

[Q] NEED HELP ASAP PLEASE! I messed up..

Hey guys,
So I wanted to go from official CM back to stock Sense.
So I followed the instructions on the sticky in One X general thread. Went into bootloader, relocked it and ran the RUU.
Problem is, I'm on 3.20.401.1 and there's no RUU for that apparently. And because there's no S-OFF I cannot downgrade.
I also cannot go back to my custom recovery (clockwork) because of the relock..
What do I do? Any help would be appreciated.
You can use the following link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2421316
But instead of using the nandroid backup from there, use the right nandroid backup for your cid

My main problem is that I DO have a nandroid backup but I can't get into my custom recovery because of the relock...
Is there any way to do a fast unlock? Or do I have to do all that token ID stuff again?
BTW my CID is Y13
Yes have to unlock it by the unlock token

Welp, unlocked it again and went back to CM. Gonna wait until there's a new RUU for my device rather than mess with this...

It isn't that hard to do it.
It's pretty easy if you follow the steps

[Q] Exchanging unlocked (bootloader) GPE device... Anything I need to do?

I'm exchanging my GPE LG G Pad because of some screen light bleeding (I hear this isn't uncommon with LG displays) Thing is, my bootloader is unlocked and my device is rooted...Is there anything I should do before sending it back? If so, I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.
Thanks XDA!

If it is a warranty replacement from LG, and you have a custom recovery, I would start by flashing the stock recovery.img via fastboot. Then I would unroot it (unroot option in SuperSU app). And finally I would relock the bootloader.

That's from autoprime's thread > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2564149
Be sure to thank him.
So I ended up just using the flashify app (awesome app btw) to flash the recovery and adb command to lock the bootloader. Afterwards I just unrooted it in SuperSU. All in all, super easy.

Root and recovery help!

I'm new to HTC process so go easy on me...(came from Galaxy S4 to m9)
I'm currently on mm 6.0 and yesterday I installed sunshine 3.3 after seeing @jcase post it was good to go for Verizon m9. So I'm now s-off and bootloader unlocked...here is where my confusion starts....and maybe I missed the thread that covered it...but how do I root and install twrp? All the methods I read were for java cards and xclips. But not sunshine...will they work the same? Also I do not have a PC with windows is there an option for Linux users...thank you for any replies, I appreciate your time and help...

Unlocked with Sunshine as well, trying to flash TWRP with fast boot. I get the message it is successful, so when I reboot I hold the volume down and power per TWRP's instructions but I get stock recovery. Any advice?

That did it. Thank you. Next to flash SuperSU.
First HTC phone, is the RUU what's used to recover from bricks and bootloop? Just flash with fast boot? Like to know my options to recover before I start flashing.
